The elevator has the condensed smell of urine from a hundred homeless people. Take the escalator.

Tallest escalator EVER. This one is enough to make even those without vertigo, feel woozy. Just don't look...up!

I was trying to figure out why an article on the T station would talk about watches, and then was like, wait a minute?!

I would say for my ride they have good quality equipment & their coaches got numerous amenities like outlets, wi-fi, modern buses etc & even if they do charters & tours they got the stuff to deliver. Now you pretty much know.

Seriously, this extremely rare form of New England mass transportation provides mental solace for those of us who would otherwise become quite rattled by heavy city traffic. No longer do I have to drive myself to the airport (or anywhere else in Boston, for that matter) when I could simply catch the bus. The bus itself comes equipped with a restroom in the back, plus complimentary WiFi. Although...the actually efficacy of the latter remains debatable. Most of the time, I just use the 5G that's available, since that often ends up being somehow faster than whatever lame ass WiFi they've got going on the bus. You purchase your tickets online where they also feature their entire bus route schedule and stops, which is pretty convenient. Prices are more than fair and they even offer various discounts for certain qualifying individuals (I.E. military, students, senior citizens, etc). Honestly, folks...this one's a no-brainer and I wish I had taken advantage of this option right from day one. For reference, I did the math comparison of using one of the Boston airport parking lots for, say...a week. I would have spent over $700 parking my own car! Compare that to the 40 bucks I spent for a one-way trip for 3 persons; one of whom got to ride for free because he's under 16. Noice! Oh, pro tip I discovered via pure dumb luck: if you're on a return flight and you're not sure if you'll make the next bus run, purchase a ticket for later than you think you'll need. You can still scan that ticket for an earlier bus ride if you happen to arrive sooner than anticipated. The reason this will work (usually) is because the bus tickets are not actually reservations for seats (this is why it pays to read the fine print at the bottom of the ticket). See, the bus rides are basically "first come, first serve". So, whilst you're still paying for the ride itself, there's nothing stopping you from getting on sooner than your reserved time. Just make sure the ticket is for the same day and the driver usually doesn't care. Needless to say, this will be my go-to method of getting to and from Boston airport from now on. Boston Express gets 5 extremely relaxed and relieved passengers riding stress free out of 5.

It is also close to shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood has improved significantly since the Orange Line got here but it's still up and coming so you'll need to watch your surroundings carefully as you would in any big city. Jackson Square is fully handicapped accessible with an elevator from street level (which is where the ticketing concourse is located) down to the platform level. They do have an escalator but it's up only, which is mildly annoying. Audible and visual announcements of the next train tell you when you need to get ready to head towards Oak Grove or Forest HIlls. Jackson Square is between Stony Brook (outbound) and Roxbury Crossing (inbound).

I always wish that they'd do a better job with the signage and directions in the MBTA stations, but this one is fairly simple and straight-forward. They have an escalator and elevator to help you to the platform. I do enjoy the fact that this stop has lots of public works of art, from paintings knocking off Warhol, to some foreign, exotic looking art and some brass faces. The cool thing about this place is that there's a free linear park/playground/gym right behind this place, which makes it a great place to hang out. Unfortunately, there are no public restrooms here.
