Hired them through Yelp based on their price and reviews and it ended up not being a good experience. To make it a short review, they damaged numerous pieces of furniture (only noticed one at drop off but saw the rest later), damaged my new floor at the house (they offered to put down protective flooring but I was only having them place the items since we were stacking everything in one room and based on their work up to that point, I didn't want to pay for the time they would apply that flooring), they left their trash everywhere, expected drinks and lunch (I understand it's a nice gesture and I did offer it to them but they expected it and it felt awkward), they charged me incorrectly by adding 3 additional labor hours and the drive time was over my 25 min than what Google stated when they left and they said it's cause they are in a truck and have to drive slow, but I left an hour after them and passed them on the highway, they brought items in the truck they weren't supposed to and I told them not to and I ended up having to pay to get a truck to take them back and even asked at the end of all this if I tipped. After disputing with the admin over the phone and explaining to her the costs, she still didn't understand and didn't even offer any compensation for damaged furniture. This is just the brief breakdown but I am just so disappointed. I paid over $1500 for them during a time that we are already dealing with so much in an uninhabitable home that this ended up causing us more issues than resolution. In response to their response: My initial home was not a construction zone and they still left all their water bottles, and plastic wrap trash. My dropoff location wasn't an active construction zone and was undergoing mold remediation which was pushing their debris in set areas that the company was paying to dump off, not my movers trash. In Addition, it was all the soda cans and water bottles that were left that I graciously offered. At least have the decency to clean up. I am also not going to go through all my damage with you when your team initially denied the cabinet and then patched it horribly and told my husband to paint it cause he's an artist. The photo of it was included. Lastly, your cost was off. I paid 1074 in cash, and 430 through Zelle and then tip so it was over $1500. I'm not going to continue justifying myself to you when you're a company and I'm the customer. I should not be catering to you when I am the one paying. read more

Ben and Dake from Take It Easy Moving were so professional. The whole process was extremely easy. My husband booked through Yelp, date and items were set then comes the day of the move (today lol). Ben and Dake arrived 10 mins early. We communicated the items being transported as well as the items to be removed for recycling, which were all bigger items such as refrigerator, couch, 8 drawer dresser and more. They handled everything with care. For 6hrs, heavy items, gas fee, and recycling fee for $1500. To me and my husband it was not bad of a price at all. No clear discussion on overtime until it's overtime. They don't take responsibility for damage property. Over wrapping which takes more time. They don't remove the wrapping on the items they wrap. Quick pressure to write a review. Deceptive company. Watch out for none written contract and get a receipt. Only use communication thru yelp or the guarantee will be questioned by yelp. They use what's app then cancel what they have sent in the text. They don't follow moving instructions well. In regards to the owner's response: 1. The overtime rate was never discussed and labor laws were never discussed beforehand nor was I alerted as it got closer to the 8 hours. Also there was no contract produced or supplied prior to starting the job. 2. The box was clearly labeled fragile on all sides of the box. If your company didn't not feel comfortable with something labeled FRAGILE, then I should have been alerted. I find it interesting that you are just now focusing on my concerns. After I repeatedly tried to work this out with Tom. You can't disregard the facts and concerns. read more
