This place is really growing on me! I think part of this is the fact that they have regular deals on different food items which make eating here are a great value! You definitely need to join their club! It's counter service, pick up your own food, but they do a really great job! They have kiosks which you can order from... or use their app if you don't want to go to the counter. They seem to have really high-quality food for the price. The burgers are huge, almost enough for two. Onion rings are really good, but no one beats Sonic! The place is well lit, well maintained and always very clean. Outdoor seating available, if you like. Will, absolutely come back and do highly recommend!

Portillo's @portilloshotdogs -- Grapevine, TX Got to try Portillo's Plant Based Garden Dogs made with @fieldroast hot dogs, mustard, relish, celery salt, onions (I prefer grilled), tomatoes, sport peppers, pickle and a poppy seed bun! So delish! & they're open late! #Portillos #Fieldroast #PlantbasedHotdog

If you haven't gotten your heart shape chocolate cake yet, grab it now!!!! I tried it yesterday at work and it was so soft, I had to get one today for home.

Italian beef with hot peppers. The meat to bread ratio was way off. Not much beef.

I had some high expectations for Portillo's as my friends in Chicago rave about it but I was honestly a little disappointed. I sent a pic to my Chicago friends and they asked me "where is the beef"? I was expecting a beef filled sandwich but what I received was nothing like what everyone described. I think Potbelly's makes a better beef sandwich and their peppers are even better too. The burger was huge but I feel it lacked seasoning. The best thing we ate was the onion rings which were a 10/10!

Service is a 10/10, I ordered online and picked up quickly. The food was tasty and hot. The only negative experience we had, which I took away a star for, was missing items that I paid extra for but did not receive. Even so we will be back to try other menu items!

Italian beef sandwich, fries in the bag, and cheese for dipping!

Second time here within a week. Great food and nice friendly service! I love e how they call out the number and neat phrases they use to pick up your food. Love the Italian beef sandwich and fries dipped in their delicious cheese! Yummy!

Lunch date with the family and hoping for a like Chicago nostalgia. I need someone to inform these Texas locations that Italian beefs/combinations are adorned with pepperoncinis, NOT sliced Bell pepper. This was possibly my only negative takeaway the ambiance was awesome. Vintage. Service was modern and fast. Kids had bacon cheeseburgers. Wife and daughter came for the cheese sauce. Seriously. They even got some to go. Good time was had by all.

Portillo's... a Chicago institution serving up the classics with all the Windy City fanfare! First up, the hot dog--executed with military precision. Steamed poppy bun? Check. Neon green relish? Check. Sport pepper, tomato, pickle, and that mandatory sprinkle of celery salt? CHECK. This little wiener was a masterpiece. Then came the Chicago beef & sausage sandwich--dipped. Now, I knew going in that Chicagoans take their Italian beef seriously, but no one warned me that the sausage in this bad boy would come in HOT. Like, "contemplate your life choices" kind of spicy. Delicious? Absolutely. A little sweat-inducing? Also yes. And let's talk about the crinkle-cut fries--my personal favorite fry shape. They had just missed the "piping hot fresh" window by about two minutes, but that didn't stop us. We ate every last one like the dedicated fry enthusiasts we are. Final verdict? This place is a well-oiled machine of deliciousness. Would I do it all over again? In a Chicago minute.

    I didn't order "to go"!

They gave me and another family the wrong orders only to be discovered after I got home. When I went back, so did the other family. The manager tried to give me the food that they took home. The resturant resembles Germany in 1945. Food all over the floor, and generally a disaster. Meanwhile there are 2 people cooking, one working the drive through window...and 3 kids standing around. Busy? Nope, 3 people inside and 1 car in the drive through. Always this location...so bad since it opened. Too bad too, because food is good and id like to eat here more...

A 20-cent increase in price for onion rings. My husband had a Freddy Original double with tater tots. The burgers seemed to be larger this time not sure why. This not a complaint just an observation. The burgers were hot made to order. Rings and tots as will were also hot. Great burgers with good flavor. The smashed hamburger patty with crispy edges is a great touch. Service was fine nice inside plenty of seating. With a good drink station. You can also get frozen custard maybe one day. I'm always to full after I eat the burgers.

With so many dining options available, I chose Jake's Burgers after hearing positive recommendations from my brother. Upon entering, I immediately noticed how organized and spotless the restaurant was. It had a welcoming sports-bar atmosphere that felt both relaxed and inviting. I was promptly greeted by J.T., the host, who was kind, polite, and welcoming as he escorted us to a booth. Our server, K.T., was friendly, efficient, and attentive. He quickly brought us water, took our order, and thoughtfully repeated everything back to ensure accuracy. We started with the fried mushrooms ($8.99), which arrived hot, juicy, well-seasoned, and pleasantly spicy--just as promised. They were easily some of the best fried mushrooms I've had in a long time. For our main course, I ordered the Classic Double Cheeseburger on a poppyseed bun with all the toppings ($11.79), while we also tried the Jake's Special Burger with the works ($11.79). Both burgers were incredibly delicious--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend giving Jake's Burgers a visit. Hope to see you there!
