A distance from Montpelier, located in the rural area surrounded by trees and mountains, Plainfield, VT boasts this exciting pizza find. Have to say, the offerings have matured immensely since my college days over 15 years ago and now boasts an eclectic beer menu that excites. The pizza has always been fabulous and there are other items to choose from if pizza doesn't ring your bells. Everyone's friendly, everything's affordable, and what's more: you feel good being there. Great spot for a pizza bite!

This was my first time at this location and it was just as delicious as the others I've been to! It was take-out only because of Covid. The order took about 20 minutes from when I called to when I picked it up. I love the way they make their pizzas- perfectly crispy crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Yum! The bean burger was a very generous size and we got a gluten free bun for an extra charge. The beet salad was refreshing to go along with the pizza. I'll be back again soon for sure!

It has been a while since I wrote my last review of Positive Pie so it is time to update it. This is one of our top three pizza and beer places in Vermont. When you enter the door, the inside looks just like an old Wild West saloon. It's very rustic with a squeaky wooden floor, a long bar and about 12 tables. They always have around 20 beers on tap and a good selection of bottled beer if none of the draught beers are what you like. The pizza here is thin crust and quite good. They bring it out and put it up on a stand on your table so you have more room. Service is always excellent here. Parking is on the street and there is never a problem finding a space.

We were on vacation in NH this weekend and this place was an absolute must go. I got the half stack pancakes with plain chocolate chip, whole wheat blueberry, and their special which was oatmeal granola. All were absolutely amazing. My mom got the buttermilk blueberry and gingerbread walnut- these two are our absolute favorite combos. We also got a side of their homemade wheat toast and home fries. If you go, you must get their home fries because they are arguably the best item on the menu, besides pancakes of course lol. My dad got a ham and cheese omelette, with a choice of 2 or 3 eggs (he got 3), which comes with home fries and toast. I also tried their iced lattes for the first time ever and I'm disappointed I never got it before. I got an iced latte with salted caramel flavor and whip cream which was amazing. Their menu is full of variety and they are so many substitutions and add ons you can make. Different combos of pancake batter and toppings, cheese and onions on home fries, different flavors of toast, etc. All the employees are so friendly too. Every time we've eaten here, the waiter/waitress is always so kind and friendly and attentive. Our waitress today, Lisa, was especially awesome. The food comes out in a decent amount of time too. Beware that they get VERY VERY busy once camping season starts, around Memorial Day weekend and continuing throughout the summer. You could be looking at a wait time of at least 2 hours on a weekend in the summer if you get there after 8 or 9am. They don't take calls for a waitlist, you have to be there to put your name on a list to wait. Since we went early May, we had no wait whatsoever. Please give this place your business, they deserve it and will not disappoint!!!

Anyways, came back from Jay tonight and needed dinner and even though I stopped at the gas station/mart down the road and grabbed a sandwich I still felt I needed dinner (saving the sandwich for tomorrow.) Popped in and knew this was the right decision. Missed the special menu but the pesto flatbread sounded good. I went with the pot roast dinner which was phenomenal. Fell apart with a fork, vegetables were cooked spot on, and think they were deep fried mashed potatoes? That or panko covered. Ether way they were like cheese balls that were yummy. Service was excellent. The cashier had the best cheerful smile and attitude. She also served and bused the tables so she was always asking everyone one everything was. Place is inviting, I can only imagine what the vibe is in the morning when they serve breakfast. Probably will pop in when I head out of town to fuel up for the ride home. This place is definitely worth the stop not only because of what I wrote but because it's a local business and you should avoid the quick fast meal spots.

This place was on our way to our first destination this morning and we said screw it, let's give a try, Ooof!! we would've have a better tasty breakfast at McDonald's for half the cost. Yep!! This place is actually really pricey for the quality of food you get here. I ordered the egg, cheese sandwich on a biscuit (because we always like to try the local restaraunt's biscuits) and I added their maple sausage. I wanted to get an almond croissant as well until I saw a fly in the pastry cabinet just have his way on all the pastries. NOPE!! This was probably one of the worse breakfast sandwiches I have ever had to date. The biscuit itself was hard as a rock, dry and crumbled upon touch. It was lousy as heck. The maple sausage was a thick patty, but small, almost like a quarter size round compared to the size of the biscuit. So for what sandwich and a cup of coffee was around $23. Heck no! Was that even worth it with how bad inflation is these days Not sure how they have such high ratings, but just be warned. You're welcome!

We mentioned the article and he seemed impressed since he didn't think the article would bring anyone in. We loved the eclectic feel of the place. What a gem of a place - great ready to eat food, specialty grocery items, AND big smiles. Wednesday - pot pie day! Hefty for its size - the chicken pot pie yesterday (flavors change) was loaded with so much meat that a slice didn't change its shape on my plate. That pie crust was buttery goodness! Thursdays thru Saturdays - hot rotisserie chickens (ready at 4pm)! Sticky caramelized skin, mmmm. These pastured chickens are raised in VT, so they are as clean as they are delicious. Daily baked goods - the banana buttercotch scone, brown butter chocolate chip cookie, & raspberry chocolate chip muffin are all fresh & so yummy, with crispy edges and moist centers. Their strawberry pop tarts look to die for! Groceries - an excellent selection: local eggs, beautiful cheeses, Vermont Salumi, Sisters of Anarchy ice creams, panko breadcrumbs, Asian condiments (fine brewed soy sauce, soup bases, etc.), Tony's chocolate bars, fresh produce, frozen fresh raviolis, kombuchas and specialty sodas, and a large selection of wines. Giving back is a loving theme here. With every purchase, you have an opportunity to give your tips to their monthly partner. This month they are supporting the Pride Center of Vermont. I'm looking forward to next Saturday's dinner special (eat in or to go), and Sunday's savory hand pie!
