I just had my second amazing lunch here. If it's a nice day & not too windy, you can't beat a late lunch out on their deck under an umbrella (without the umbrella you may catch a sunburn). Music was chill and the service was perfect. They happily bring you a water without asking for it, and the manager came out a couple times to make sure everything was cool. The food is sooo good, and made me feel like a local. ;) I ordered off the lunch menu (sandwiches & side for $12), started with Carolina Crickets (No; they are not the actual insects) and had an Arden Club sandwich. My wife and I came in for a few drinks and appetizers. We were not disappointed. Oysters with horseradish and cocktail sauce were delicious. We shared five Greek wings and 5 tiger wings. Found this place based on reviews before heading to Asheville airport and so happy we did. Josh was everything a server should be, great customer service!! The summer berry salad was amazing and my fiancé's tiger sauce chicken strips were cooked perfect and that sauce oh my must try. Nice indoor and outdoor ambiance with music playing. Our server was very attentive, but not annoyingly so. Our food came quickly and was delicious. We all ordered the hamburger, and it might have been my favorite burger ever. Came here with my picky grandma and my dad. Our service was incredible, Arianna our waitress was awesome. I'm a food snob and usually feel like food is "fine". This place was GOOOOD. Absolutely the most underwhelming place I have ever been for dinner. We called to make reservations, had to have 6 or more, they wouldn't put our name on the list even though we told them we would be there in 20 minutes, they said the wait was 30 minutes. Our fault we went anyway. Waited 45 minutes for the empty table we asked about when we came in. We waited for our food for another 42 minutes. When it arrived it was a shock that it was all so bad. Oysters overdone, over salted and greasy greasy greasy. The salad tasted like old lettuce and appeared they had put some new lettuce on top. The ribs fell off the bone, but were so salty, they did not come with any sauce, and there was no sauce on it. The Mac and cheese was flavorless, and the coleslaw was just awful. The bright spot was that the prime rib was good, but not rare as requested it was medium. All in all not a place I would frequent and doubtful I would eat any of their dinners offerings. Post 25 is a sister restaurant to East Village Grill in Asheville - same menu. Post 25 has more a restaurant feel, EVG feels more like a bar. For Pub Grub, the bar feels is better. I love their Tiger Chicken sandwich, excellent lunch with fries. Draft beer selection is limited, but good. Always a dependable Pilsner on tap. Post 25 has plenty of parking and the service is good. We arrived at Post 25 at 5:15 on a Monday evening. We loved this place so much on our first visit, that this is our second trip within a 30 day time span. The ambience of this establishment has a wide open feeling. They play soft music in the background; Not too loud, but not too quiet either. The table we sat at tonight was shaky, which we've noticed is a common theme around town. I'd say four out of the last five restaurants we've dined in have had uneven tables, chairs, booths, stools, 'something' that just rocks the entire meal. Maybe all the restaurants need to get together and hire some furniture leveling company to go through and fix the epidemic. Lol. The bathroom area here is very unique. On your way to the restroom, you pass a little lounge and wash area, where they have a couch and handwashing sink. Kind of strange, kind a unique, kind a cool. The restrooms themselves have always been clean and well-maintained during both visits. We were sat immediately upon arrival, followed closely by taking our drink and appetizer order. Drinks arrived to the table shortly after. Our server returned to take our entree order after I needed additional time to decide. By 5:30, the tiger wing appetizers was on the table. The wings here are, hands-down, the best wings we have found in Asheville thus far. Flavored deliciously, with the perfect amount of kick, these wings do not disappoint. You know how normally when you order wings from a restaurant and when it comes to the table, you are thoroughly disappointed because there's hardly any chicken meat? That is not the case here. There is so much meat on the bone of these wings. They are jumbo wings. And damn, are they good. We will most likely order these wings every single time we come here. Our entrées arrived to the table at 5:40. My house salad with ranch dressing that I ordered as the side to my French dip, is probably the most leafy salad I have found in town as of yet. They do not use the spring mix that most other restaurants in the area do. And I absolutely loved it. I will say unfortunately, that I was slightly dissatisfied and unimpressed with my French dip. The roast beef in the sandwich was very dry by itself. The French dip sauce lacked flavor, salt, and was overall too water tasting. I was shocked by my disappointed as this was the very first menu item that I found didn't meat the bar. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Ruben. He said it was delicious; the marble rye was great, the quality of the meat was great, there was plenty of sauerkraut, and the thousand Island was just the right amount of dressing. My son's fish and chips came to the table in a huge, gigantic portion. It was the first time he ate fish, so he took a step out of his usual comfort zone, and he was glad he did. I will say that our server was very attentive and thorough. He checked on us several times throughout the course of the meal. He maintained upkeep of our drinks, making sure our waters were filled regularly. It could be that we were his only table? It wasn't quite dinner rush, and they appeared slower than the last time we were in the restaurant. Regardless, he did a fantastic job. Our check arrived to the table at 6:00, and we were out the door by 6:10 PM. Overall, this trip combined with our last trip, I would heavily recommend Post 25. We will definitely be back. read more

Popped in for lunch and was amazed at the diversity of the menu and also the layout. Really good looking place, the bar looked like a great place to hang out. I went with the lunch sized portion of meatloaf and my side was a cup of their cram of potato and ham soup. Really tasty, wish I took a photo of the meal before it disappeared. The others I was with orders dishes with a side of tots. Tot envy! Individually portioned baskets and they were generous. Didn't catch out server's name today, she looked like the only one working today and was super busy. I never needed anything she was all over everything. Took our party of four 1 hour to get seated on a Saturday night. We ordered right when we sat down and waited another 45 minutes for the food. Not worth the wait at all. My wife got the Greek salad followed by the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The mushroom gravy on the meatloaf was so tasty! I chose the potato soup followed by the penne pasta in vodka sauce with chicken. Everything is made fresh daily including the mashed potatoes. The vodka sauce was probably the best that I have had. The portions were so large that I ended up taking some home. Sierra Nevada's Hazy IPA and Bear Waters' lager were the tasty beverages of choice.
