After having to work from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to ensure required documents were handled on a weekly basis. I decided to try this location for my notary needs and was not disappointed! As a newer patron, I found the staff to be friendly, personable and very accommodating to their customers while we all navigated work during the pandemic. I found with my weekly visits to have documents notarized becoming more of an outlet and must say Valerie always made this pleasant. Valerie's customer service is top notch! This has been my goto postal annex for many years now the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I actually had an experience with them today that made me take the time to yelp how AMAZING they truly are... I called them on my way there and it was right when they were closing, I was a couple of minutes away and once I told them I was on my way, they said that they would wait for me and surely that's what they did. Let me also mention that I wasn't rushed in any way!!! Terrible service . First they lost track of my Certified mail which cost ($20) . When I called to find out what happened to my mail, which was not being tracked anymore all they did is put me hold for 15min first time, 15min 2nd time and the third time some air head answered and she could not answer basic questions. I would not trust this place to mail anything. read more

George and Darryl are always so helpful when I come in. People complain about the wait, but no one seems to understand that they don't just breeze through and carelessly take you packages and documents like the post office does. They take their time in giving each customer individualized attention. My packages have never gone missing like they have by the USPS. Very happy with their service. They are also very kind to my active child whenever I have brought him in with me and supply him with stickers and suckers. That makes me feel very welcome and valued. read more

NOT ALL POSTAL ANNEX STORES ARE ALIKE! I'll try to make this more brief than my other reviews that I've posted today about merchants in my neighborhood. The people in this place are busy-busy-busy. And no wonder. They are great at what they do and are super friendly. Recently I had to get a huge document notarized with my wife and it took longer than usual because of its size - but we were helped and not rushed, despite the line gathering behind us. Another staffer just came to the rescue and helped reduce the wait time for others being caused by US. The owners are a very charming and attractive couple, John and Nancy Howard. I gleaned this only because I took a business card. I would not have known their names otherwise. Charm and attractiveness doesn't always translate into good and solid efficient service. But in THIS CASE - IT DOES! There are many Postal Annex stores and I've been to about six or seven over the years, depending upon where I am during any given day. But I get great comfort knowing that the best is in my own backyard. read more

This is actually my favorite place to ship stuff! I was in a hurry one time because i had rented a textbook for my semester and forgot that i had to return it so this place was closest to me at the time. I ran in and told George about my current situation and he was more than happy to speed things up for me! So i dropped off my textbook and he took care of everything ! Went in here for the first time today. First of all, slowest service ever. The girl there took her sweet time and kept going on the phone and ignoring the people in there. When I got to the front, I was only shipping off a single book. She told me "the most economic option for you would cost $29." The screen was displaying in front of me and after debating a bit, I told her there's no possible way this book costs $29 to ship, and she clicked something on the screen and said, "oh look, actually the best option is only $8!" She knew from the start that there was a cheaper option but tried to get me to pay extra for no reason. This is the best Postal Annex I've been to. They don't just ship stuff and notarize documents BUT they offer superb customer service. George and everyone there are very nice and helpful. This used to be THE best place to get stamps, mail packages overseas and within US, photocopy and get notary services. . . unfortunately, it is under new ownership and they are HORRIBLY RUDE! Do not ship your packages here!! They are ripping you off and should be ashamed. The owner, George is nice, but the young lady, who is a notary, has a bad attitude. Never smiles and acts like she is doing you a favor by waiting on you. I shipped a 3 lb small box and it cost me $25!!! That is insane!! I have been going here for quite some time but it has gone downhill since Nancy sold the business. You can go to the UPS or FEDEX store on Jamacha... They don't gouge you!
