The good- person helping me and owner were courteous and helpful. The bad-"Worker X" not involved in my interaction at all & yelled at ne from behind counter that she didn't like my "vibe". She flailed her arms in the air in attempts to insert herself where not needed. She turned to owner and said she will not be talked to "that way". I asked her to mind her own business and finished with clerk helping me to get a duplicate receipt so I could follow up with FE. Yes, the person helping me and the owner explained problems with FedEx & untimely deliveries were beyond their control and to contact FE. I still expressed my discontent as this is 2 days late for a birthday gift. Customers are allowed to express discontent and I thanked the clerk for his time. There was no name calling, raised voices or threats. I just said I'm unhappy. That's it. I've been there numerous times with no unhappy interactions. Worker X has no business working with the public. She has some sort of MH issue that is not resolved and when an unhappy customer is present, she can't handle it. She stormed out of the postal store after I left to the next door business where they sell spirits. Something's not right with her. I hope she gets the help she needs. read more

Twice now I've been in and had staff try to serve me without a mask. The first time I asked politely whether I could wait to be served by someone with a mask, and was harangued for the next 10 minutes by the lady behind the counter, about my "lack of understanding" for others. Today the man working there (I believe the owner) blatantly just walked up to the counter to help me with no mask on. I took a giant step back, and he obviously saw that I was uncomfortable, so he half-heartedly pulled a loose bandana up over his nose - but it kept slipping down, and he just left it. I didn't want to get into a big debate again, so I kept silent and just hurried through my transaction. I will not go back. read more

I like the location, Its very convenient for me that is the big positive for me here. Unfortunately it mostly goes down hill from there. The staff is fine once they are with me. The problem is when they are doing something else, like chatting. They usually ignore me until they are done. The prices seem high to me here also. The store's look is very functional. By that I mean white walls and basic shelfs etc. The whole place just feels like a place I would rather not be. To end on a higher note: they do seem to know what they are doing and I have never had problems from that. In all, I will come here to grab a stamp but for anything more I usually wind up somewhere else. read more

I had a mail box here for 4 yrs, receiving all my mail here, until it was up for annual renewal and given away to someone else after 30 days notice. For $15 a month, they gave my mail box to someone else and returned my mail to sender. You can imagine how frustrating this is. read more

This place wanted to upcharge me on shipping an item UPS to "inspect" my shipment. They call it "pro pack". When I declined they told me they would not be responsible for the safety of the shipment. Prepare to pay double the price you would at the post office. They quoted me $45 to express mail via USPS. I declined and went to the post office where I was quoted $22.95! An unusually high premium for the convenience of not having to drive an extra 10 mins to the nearest post office if you ask me! I do appreciate the ability to drop off packages here for pickup however being a 2 minute drive from my house. read more

A new policy requiring a $1 per package drop off charge to have prepaid shipping items picked up by USPS really let me know this location doesn't support it's community. I will drop my items at the local USPS collections can which is just as convenient. Previously, I was told by the owner that the drop off was meant for the community and that if I bought supplies every now and then everything was fine. The staff is friendly and helpful but they definitely up charge way too much. I was sending a package to my son and watched as the women helping me measured and weighed it. It was a medium sized box weighing 6 pounds, which I was shipping to New Orleans. Then I was told the cheapest it could ship was with UPS Ground for $39 - and it would take almost a week! When I questioned the cost I was told that it was a very heavy box. Six pounds is not that heavy. Anyway I canceled the shipment and left. Then I used my phone to go online to see what a shipping quote directly from UPS would be and found their cost to be only $17!! I do expect to pay an up charge when I go to a private mailing place and I realize they need to do that to run a business, but more than double? That's not right! I then went down the road to the UPS Store, also a shipping outlet, and paid $21 - an up charge of $4 is much more reasonable. read more

I used this business on two occasions and had the same counter person, business owner?, female, reddish hair. Both occasions were very none welcoming for a local business that I'd like to support. First time was used for a passport photo, pricey and the quality of the photos was degraded with one picture peeled, evidently took out of the processing to soon. The other was today, went to send a prepaid package back to sender in its original packaging, went to counter and same female "what do you want me to do with this". Stated wanted to return this item with its packing label. She then retorted "The tape is by the entrance, I'll have to charge you if I tape the package" Evidently this local business wants only a self serve business, and up charge for everything. I really want to support local business but, this attitude and woefully lack of customer service at this store is frankly appalling. I left the business and drove out of my way to another shipper I've used in the past and customer service there is so much more superior. I will NEVER go back to this POSTAL ANNEX for convenience location. read more
