I'm going to go out of my way to review this one. And I don't usually do. I was sending a box of food to my friend in the military. An issue came up with my package, and it was sent to the wrong address. I called this Post Annex, which was the location that handled my order. The staff were quick to respond, professional, and very courteous. Janice was attentive to my request and asked thorough questions to correct my order. Sara was also extremely helpful when processing my refund and providing instructions on how to correct my order. Very convenient and staff are friendly but I feel like they're not careful with my packages :/ I drop off about 4 packages at a time and when I check the tracking later only 3 of them have been updated but 1 is just out and about. Also I recommend this place as just a drop off, their prices are kinda high. read more

I'm reverting my review since I received refund. They could have had better communication along the way. ------- Not a trustworthy business, doesn't honor their word. I bought couple of overnight Fedex shipping labels for visa purposes. Instructions were not clear about what shipping labels to use. So I specifically asked whether I can return the labels if there is any issue or if the fedex labels are not accepted. They said sure they can accept return if I gave back the label. Sure enough, fedex label was accepted and I went in with the labels to return. When processing return they are having all sorts of problems, every time I go in they come up with stories to avoid refund. They can't "see" the order, they can't process it, waiting for "invoice" from fedex, need manager approval, blah, blah, blah, you name it. It has been more than 2 months now and have contacted them several times in person and by phone. I've lost hope that they really care and given up. May be they were thinking to cheat all along and I have making fool of myself going back and forth. If you have some issue and think of getting a refund, you may as well forget it. read more

As a seller on multiple internet selling platforms, I am shipping and receiving items on a consistent basis. The Annex has been my unofficial right hand. They have the largest selection of shipping boxes. Ive brought large porcelain vase, delicate jade tree ect and they beautifully and safely got package to destination. I also rent a mailbox here and I no longer have to track and hunt down my packages. All of the staff are friendly and makes the interaction very personable. Asm, the owner is very dedicated to providing exceptional service. They are closed on Sundays and I didn't make it to pick up on Saturday. He was nice enough to come in on Sunday, his day off, for me to pick up an important package. If that's not superb customer service I don't know what it is. The service here is outstanding. The staff is super helpful and nice. It's hard not to smile after doing what you need to do there whether it's passport photos, send out a package or even picking one up. The prices here are comparable to other stores that offer the same services. I definitely recommend this location and would happily come here each time I need any service they other. read more

It has been a while but I went here last week, September 3, Saturday late morning (til afternoon) and was assisted (and helped) by a nice staff/employee name Dash (Indian man, I think?). His service was excellent and answered all my questions with patience. He always had a smile on his face and even though people were coming in and out to either pick-up and drop off mails/packages, he managed to keep calm and not seemed overwhelmed. He even helped me bring my boxes (20x20x20) inside the store. I strongly recommend this Postal Annex+ than any other franchise because they'll definitely give you a better deal/rate and even discount on purchasing boxes. I found this place by a fluke and I'm so glad I did because the staff here are helpful and provide great customer service!! read more

Employees are pleasant and friendly, but prices for FedEx Ground were over 25% higher than online on the FedEx website. Also,even though they tried twice, they could not get my return address into the system - I gave up. For me, it would have been cheaper to just go to the post office or the local UPS Store. FedEx delivery knocked down a pedestrian gate on the back of our house (on a street NOT our shipping address and not our regular driveway) and the driver tried to take off despite damage to his truck, but that is a different story. read more

My usual place to go for all my shipping needs. Most of the staff are friendly. (The older male/young females). Came across an older lady today and she went back and forth with me about providing a drop off receipt. Had to ask three times until she would make a "one" time exception. She continued to ask over and over "are your packages important?" I guess a small piece of receipt is too much to ask for? Never had this issue with anyone else working. It is a paid service after all isn't it? By the way there is an actual UPS store across the street that doesn't hesitate to provide a receipt. Happy holidays read more

This was such an easy experience, I was in & out within minutes. I had to send a couple documents out as a certified mail in which the staff reassured me it would get to its' destination. Absolutely love postal annex, I have been here multiple times and I'm never here for more than 5 minutes. They take every postal service you can think of. Usually when I have tons of errands to run it's so easy to just stop by and drop off my package. I love places that are fast, efficient and don't waste any time taking care of their customers. When you walk in you get greeted by a customer service rep/cashier, if you're dropping off a package for you just let them know and they scan it and give you a receipt. I have never had any problems of having my package being lost in the mail or anything. read more

Do not go here for notary services! My partner used them to notarize a document that was needed when providing an official statement for court. The notarized document was rejected by the court, since it was improperly prepared. I made the mistake of trying to give them another chance, but they just outright refused to prepare my documents. They claimed the lawyer prepared documents were not valid, and they provided no explanation as to why or what could be done to correct the documents. They refused to talk to the lawyer that prepared the paperwork and they were just rude when rejecting to notarize. I went to another notary nearby that helped me notarize the documents as needed. When I was at that other notary, I found out that they illegally over-charged my partner $30 for one signature. The maximum that they are legally allowed to charge is $15. Save yourself the time and hassle and just go somewhere else! read more

I went in this morning for a bunch of services including printing, notary and passport photos. I will not make that mistake again. There were 2 employees. To be fair, one of them seemed pleasant and good at his job. The older gentleman who helped me was the most incompetent person I ever met. He took close to 30 mins to print 10 pages. They all came out cropped because he didn't know how to select "fit to page" on the print window. Both myself and the other employee offered to help me which he rejected. I had to just trash them. Also, I'm not sure if its Postal Annex's policy or if this employee overcharged me. But in every other place where I went for passport photos before, the first set is more expensive (because they have to click a picture, crop etc) and any extra copies printed thereafter are cheaper. But here, I was charged close to $33 for 4 photos. Just save your time and go to staples or FedEx next time. read more

Asm & Rod are the biggest jerks I've come across in a long time. They don't respect the opinion of women and are rude and condescending. I will never go back to them again. If you ship something overnight, you expect it to be delivered on time. When that didn't happen they acted like they had no fault in the matter and it was all our fault. And they expected us to do all the research on why the package wasn't delivered on time. Isn't this what we pay the extra fees to Postal Annex for? They are definitely more expensive than going directly to FedEx, USPS, or UPS. After 2 discussions with them and getting my husband involved, they finally agreed to refund us the $36+ fee but left such a bad feeling, I had to post this review so other women know where not to go read more

You would think that a shop that offers printing services would have cardstock on hand, but this one does not!! I ordered flyers from this PostalAnnex location and called prior to ordering just to make sure my order would be filled. The employee helping me over the phone assured me that my order would be filled in two days, which was great. I emailed PostalAnnex the file for the image I wanted to have printed on the flyers, along with all specificiations. When I came in to pick up my flyers after 2 days, I was dismayed to see that they were printed on regular printer paper rather than card stock, like I had specified in email AND over the phone. I told them that I had requested card stock and the employee just replied with "We don't have card stock". I don't understand why they printed my order at all when they didn't even have the right type of paper on hand. You would expect that they'd let the customer know if they can't fulfill an order. Since everything was already printed and cut, I had to settle with what they gave me. Before we left, the man behind the counter gave us his business card...which was printed on cardstock...like really dude?? Idk why he gave it to us because I will definitely not be going back there. I'm giving this place 2 stars because of the quick service. read more

Needed some documents notarized and called ahead to make sure notary was in. Went in and experienced great service. The owner who is also the notary answered all my questions and provided some additional tips and info on getting international documents notarized. Very happy with the service and will definitely use them again. read more
