I went to get my paperwork notarized last Saturday and I have to say, I had the most pleasant and professional experience there. I believe the woman the other person reviewed as Minoo was warm and friendly and so very helpful. I don't understand why people leave these negative reviews when they are probably the person who is unruly. Had my PO Box for two months, within that time period they increased their prices by 50%. Their contracts were not clear on their pricing. It is extremely frustrating and confusing to work with them. I am writing this review because I try to support small businesses, and this is a franchise. I am writing it in the hope that the owners see it and change their hours to improve their business. I often have items to ship, and this is a nearby, convenient location from which I should be able to ship packages. The last four times I have tried to ship something using this store, it has been closed when I arrived. That's 0/4. in the world of baseball, they have more than struck out. The first rule of Guerrilla Marketing: if you want them to use your product or service, make it easy for your customers to do so. In this case, this means be open when your customers need you to be. I have tried to patronize this store, repeatedly, and have been unable to do so due to their hours. This location closes at 6pm during the week, 3pm on Saturdays, and is closed Sundays. When exactly do they think working folk can come in?the last time I tried to use this place, I showed up on Saturday, packages in hand, at about 4:00. They were closed, so I got back in my car and went elsewhere. I am giving them two stars, because in the past when I have been able to get there during their hours of operation, the people who work there have been very nice. The ladies at this store were helpful with not only packing up the items to prevent damage during shipping (a great bottle of mezcal isn't cheap!), they also explained all of the different shipping options and they didn't blanch when I paid with cash (unlike that ex... place across the parking lot). I've been in a few times now for shipping and boxes. I've always been able to find a pretty good size box to fit my sending needs and love that there are more shipping choices besides USPS Priority Mail. (That annoys me to no end at the PO!) The lady who's always there is totally nice and professional. I'm confident that she knows her stuff and is always willing to help you get what you've got where it's going. :) Thanks for the great service! I really don't go anywhere else to ship things now. TIP: Parking lot is large, but with construction on the complex and crazy, yes CRAZY drivers-be careful! There are some tight turns, and to be honest, I think the spots are small. When Sprouts has sales or it's lunch hour, the place is jammed. I avoid it if I can...I must be gettin' old... LOL There's also a $10- minimum to use a debit or credit card. My all time favorite and go-to shopping center in town! The staff is so friendly and helpful and always lets me know if there are coupons that can be applied toward my purchases. They've helped me ship items cross country so easily and have never been late or lost a box. TERRIBLE EMPLOYEE runs this store. Her name is MINOO and she is a vial women. While performing a notary service for my wife and I she was not only rude, she was also condescending. When I was surprised to be charged $45 to notarize two letters because we had to sign twice on one doc and once on the other I said "I specifically asked you on the phone prior if it was $15/sig for HER to sign each doc and she said YES". When I reminded her of that she just she in a dinmeening voice "well you didn't understand", as if I am studip. So she starts being extremely rude and condescending. Then after waiting in line and going through this whole process she takes my docs and says, "if you don't like it I can tear this up and cancel the transaction." I said I will take paying the charges but I will not let her waste anymore of my time. I just wanted to leave. So I paid and then said please give people the proper information on the phone so customers will know that the charge is $15 for each of THEIR signatures and you could aviod any misunderstanding in the future. So I was walking out the door when I hear a rude sounding, "sorry", I said you should be, then she had the nerve, not to mention the unprofessionalism to say, "no I'm sorry for YOU", at which point I turned around and said to please give me the name of her supervisor, at which point the DIALS THE POLICE. I said all I asked for was the name of you superviser and she just kept on the phone as if she was being threatened somehow. Lucky I have this on video as my wife was smart enough to record it. There should be a fine for people that misuse the 911 system when they are just trying to lie to cover themselves for being fired if their employer finds out what a horrible employee they have representing there one of their stores. After looking at other Postal Annex reviews mine does not seem like an isolated incident. Customers would be better served doing business in any other place then Postal Annex. My heart does genuinely go out to people that treat other people badly. Maybe this women MINOO is unhappy because of a family loss, or she just is fighting a drug or alcohol problem. Maybe human resources at the Postal Annex can get this employee some much needed help. It might help her, the company and any unsuspecting customers that might not find this review and wander in for an unhealthy dose of abuse. read more

I'm giving them two stars because they do have functioning PO Boxes and ship some packages. For my experience though, I would give them one stars. They have a big ol' sign on their front that says they ship USPS packages, UPS and FedEx. I had two UPS and two USPS packages to ship, all with prepaid labels. The cashier accepted the UPS packages but said she could not ship the USPS packages. I looked and pointed confusedly back at the big USPS sign on the front window, and she said they will only ship USPS packages if you are BUYING postage with them... uh, WHAT? Seriously? I asked her if she was being serious. She rudely said yes, and if I wanted them shipped I could repurchase my postage! I started laughing and then realized she was being completely serious!!!
