Brittnee and Jade were superstars! They were both great conversationalists, super attentive with refilling water and checking back for more app orders. Brittnee recommended this fab rosé that my friend and I both enjoyed (neither of us usually like rosé cause it's sweet but I was feeling in the mood for something pink cause it's summer weather!) It wasn't too sweet and pairs pretty well with everything. It's a bit pricey for college students ($50+) but would be a great treat for young professionals. If you buy a bottle, you can take it with you and there wasn't a corking fee We got the board as well as some skewers that aren't pictured (the standard comes as 1 chicken and 1 steak) I added an additional steak and it was the perfect meal after a long day of grass volleyball. We got to sit at the bar on the outside part which was the perfect spot.

This is my third time at a Postino location so I knew the food would be good in a quirky setting. They always have some different items on their long wall in the rear of their place and at this location, they had a collection of old roller skates hanging up. Fun! For our meal, I chose a Bruschetta board with 4 different options (all fresh and flavorful). My partner chose the Italian Beef dip panini. Service was quick and our waitress was friendly.

    Cheers!

One of the best patios in downtown Boulder! Easy to enjoy the daily happy hour on the patio and have a perfect view of all of the action on Pearl Street. Inside is a cute 80s vibe, and the food and drinks are always perfect.

Great food - beautiful happy hour deal - would go all the time for board and bottle. I definitely would try the different bruschettas - my favorite is especially the warm artichoke

The service is prompt and pleasant. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable and a busy. There's a limited selection of craft brews. My IPA was smooth and offered a hint of citrus that was pleasantly subtle.

Excellence place to get a snack and a drink. Upscale atmosphere. The bruschetta is amazing. Service is very friendly.

Stopped by needing some fuel after a long flight into town. It had a nice buzz to it. The boards were very popular but big so we didn't border it for the table. Instead I got the pick two with a half a French drip sandwich and potato soup. The soup was the clear winner. Chock full of potato and bacon, it was just perfect for a cool fall day. The sandwich was fine. The au just a bit bland. Service was good though it took a bit to get our drinks. Cozy interior. A good place for lunch for sure.

House made chips were great. I think we ate them all!

A photo of the OMG Grilled Cheese and soup is what brought us here and we were not disappointed! I'm not a brie fan, but I quite enjoyed it nonetheless. Worked great with the tomato soup. The housemade Ruffles-style chips were great - not greasy or too salty like Ruffles. We also ordered a Bruschetta board as we didn't realize how much food that would be for the 2 of us. Doh! So we didn't finish all the choices but the Salami and Pesto was the favorite of each of us.

Back to my home town on the way back from RMNP. Thanks to fellow Yelpies for doing a recent review for this location and wanted to try out for myself. I Still had fond memories of my visit to Postino on Colorado Blvd (Postino9CO) during Yelp event. Got the Bruschetta Board (choose 4). A smoked salmon and also two other options. $6 glass of wine till 5 pm everyday was a crowd pleaser. Loved the cab served cold. Didn't take much time to warm up either. $6 pitcher of beer till 5 pm was also an eye catcher. I think you can get two pints out of it. Overall, awesome ambiance, fast and friendly service. Drink and food served on timely basis. Definitely will be back and will even try going back to Postino9CO location.

Postino's is unique, fun, and delicious! Great prices and specials for happy hour including $6 glasses of wine and pitchers of beer, and $25 combo deal with a bottle of wine and a board! Friendly staff and drinks and food come out super fast! The ambiance was super chill and fun vibes. Right in the heart of Pearl Street! There is street parking all around the area was not difficult to find. Just a few minutes from the hikes. Highly recommend!

Maybe rightly so as their specialized ingredients are harder to get. We sat inside this time though we used to go mostly mid summer and sit out. The patio was jam full last night so we ate inside where it was quite empty early evening during happy hour. My husband had the happy hour special of the evening, a very large serving of large mussels with grilled sourdough and a lucious broth. We also had some small plate tapas and I mostly grazed those. I love Bocarones and they do it so well though for me last night, the peppers were a bit too spicy. But I got the majority of the little fishies, my husband the peppers.. We also had the tortilla papas and the charred Hazel Dell mushrooms which were excellent. The little salad topping on the tortilla was full of specialty greens like fennel fronds and pea shoots. The mushrooms has a warm egg yolk on top to stir into the dressing which was tasty. We finished with their flan which was as good as my Spanish born neighbor made in my youth. I had a very nice tea with it. I was originally going to knock off a star for pricing but honestly, I don't think they have much option these days. But sadly we will go less frequently in the future.

I'd bookmarked Gemini for my visit to Boulder, in part because of its reputation, and also because it's VERY vegetarian-friendly and my husband doesn't eat meat. My faves: - ***Harvest Ratatouille - If you don't order this, you're a fool! ok, that may be harsh, but this dish was hearty perfection. A must-order. - Roasted Cauliflower - Tomato Crostini - ***Caramel flan - Don't sleep on this dessert. I've had MANY flans and this is among the best. We also ordered martinis (full bar) and they were great! Overall, an absolute favorite spot in Boulder. I'll be recommending to any friends traveling that way!

When Colorado announced Michelin was coming for the first time, I was confident Frasca would get a star. The high end food scene in Denver has improved over the years, but Frasca keeps getting more impressive too without moving away from their fundamentals. The menu changes with the seasons and ingredients, but it can always be counted on to be delicious, impressive, and artistic. The wine menu is almost overwhelming but we'll guided, and the cocktails are unique. Service throughout is expert and engaging, with depth and attentiveness. The occasional crossover events with wineries or other restaurants create completely different experiences. Currently there are 5 restaurants that are studded with the recognition, it was my honor to be able to visit Frasca Food and Wine a few Sundays ago. It was supposed to be more of a casual "me time" occasion after a long week of heavy workload (from the day and side hustle jobs.) I felt like a drained battery where recharging to be a human again was needed. When I picked this restaurant after typing "wine bar" in the search engine and Frasca was top of the list I completely forgot about the star award this restaurant carried so I hastily picked it to make a reservation. And yet, it dawned on me when I stepped inside and was greeted by an elegantly suited up man upfront. At that moment, the occasion was elevated from "casual" to "plush". "Am I dressed properly for this?" The bar is strictly reserved for solo or two-some diners with reservations. I hence was asked to sit anywhere at the bar. There were two couples finishing up their dinner, but they soon left. Suddenly, I had the ambient bar all to myself. I then had a sigh of relief. I didn't want to be in a place where it was loud with background music and chatters by others; I wanted to sit and relax by enjoying the moment in a quiet setting. The young lady who was manning the bar along with her male coworker mirrors all sorts of traits a person with professionalism must possess. As a matter of fact, all employees who came to assist me during the whole dining experience equally possessed the same degree of integrity/accountability/respectfulness. I carefully looked around to inspect the ambience of the restaurant. Elegant and refined; the overall ambiance is impeccably modern and yet not overly too decorated. Everything looked pleasing to anybody's eyes. I started my night with a glass of red wine. The lady at the bar kindly let me taste the "Bava 2023 Barbera d'Asti Libera" (Piemonte, Italy) before I made my decision. This is the most reasonable one on the "wine by the glass" Red at the price of $16 (as of mid-May of 2026). At a Michelin star restaurant, this might be a rarity. Food: Whereas this restaurant may be geared towards "course" menus, there are several pages where you can pick and choose by the so-called "ala carte" style. I was glad; I certainly wasn't in for $150 to $230 course. I simply needed a few items that would pair well with my red wine. Let's dive into the core of the dinner experience: Food. -The starter sourdough roll with butter. Definitely ask for it. I am not quite sure if they'll automatically bring it to you but since I was craving for a quality bread, I did at the start of my dinner. There was no charge for this when I got my check at the end. -Frico Caldo, a potato dish. A good side dish that is like a crispy potato pancake is the best way to describe it. This is one of the dishes that have a good cause behind them. $1 from every Frico Caldo sold/sale will be donated to CHOW to support hospitality workers' mental health. This type of social responsibility is always appreciated and admired. -Blecs Verdi. Ragu pasta made with spinach dough. A good portion of shredded pecorino was sprinkled over the entire pasta and YET, this is an extremely small entrée dish which is about the size of a child's fist priced at $35. As much as I found it masterfully cooked and prepared, the portion size was quite the disappointment. Yes, I do understand the fact that this (small portion) is typically seen at high-end restaurants especially with Michelin star stud so they could manage the costs of premium ingredients. I also heard that these small portions work to prevent palate fatigue. But in my honest and frank opinion, this dish can add a few more spoonfuls or bites to its current portion size. Fortunately for me though, I didn't need to fill an incredibly big appetite that night. By the time I finished the three items (starter bread, potato dish and pasta dish), I was ready for a small dessert or dessert drink. I ended up with a decaf double espresso with a frothed milk on the side; this came with a baby biscotti. This was simply perfect and enough to conclude the dinner. This elevated night at Frasca cost me $100 after tax and tip. Was it worth it? In a way, yes. Exceptionally professional workers who treated me like a VIP, modern/chic ambience that made me relax to name a few. Although the main pasta dish had a gap between expectations and reality when it came to the portion size, all in all, it was like a night of culinary journey I made from my southern Denver house to Boulder to detach myself from the hustle bustle of busy daily life.

I had high hopes after researching this place online and on Yelp for both of their locations, with…read morepictures. Very little of what we were served tonight lived up to those expectations. It's was quite sad considering the amount we spent. The portions on all but the delicious fall salad were much smaller than the appeared in pix and descriptions. For starters, the happy hour house wines which were only marginally tasty have an asterisk on their online menu stating that the wine glasses are elegant and oversized. The amount of sips I took in no way added up to the supposed 5oz pour. I have to measure fluids medically and I know well how 5oz swallows. This was about 3.5. We ordered some of happy hour plates that had been advertised on Downtown Boulder as $9 plates. There was only one on the menu. The rest of the tiny number of items were at $11 which is still a good value if offered. There were only 4 offers on starters and one "sweet" but more about the sweet later. We ended up paying full price for the rest of our starters. The first picture I found online of the arancini appeared to be baked with the mushroom risotto grains visible. What showed up on our plate were small arancini balls heavily coated in breadcrumbs and heavily fried. Not unusual and why I rarely order. So nothing special but for the tasty but tiny duck center. The Rösti was also not as pictured or described and covered with crumb or batter darkly fried onion tidbits , not sprinkled with fresh grated parm as in the pictures . We found no lingonberry berries or jam in it either but the potato base was tasty. We ordered the autumn salad and it was great. A good sized bowl of fresh greens with lots of the promised ingredients, but at full price, not happy hour. The happy hour sweet was the pictured and heralded apple strudel paired with a cappuccino . We ordered so my husband could have the cappuccino and we could share the strudel. The cappuccino came immediately and eventually we had to ask for the strudel as the drink was mostly done and cold. Someone brought the tiny bit out on a plate with more whipped cream than strudel with excuse that they did not realize we wanted them together ( they were described as a pairing) and they needed to "bake" the strudel (was it frozen or refrigerated). We each had a bite of the apple filling with a simple cover of pastry, hardly a strudel which involves " layers" of pastry but it clearly was handmade and it tasted nice. My husband ate the cream as I can't. During the visit, the nice server we started with went on break and her substitute was not much interested. The place was nearly empty on a Saturday night at happy hour with a jam packed Pearl St Mall further west. Sadly they are next door to a fading and empty eatery. I doubt they can survive. The turnover in this space has been extremely high. I was hoping for more with such a unique menu for Pearl. If you go, choose wisely, note that some staff are unaware of the advertised time of the happy hour and had to go check before serving us another item. And also know that the billing tablet is preloaded with 23% tip as standard "center" option not the customary 20% or 18% as most other places on Pearl. We are not likely to go back given these issues so plan ahead with the menu and watch the clock. As others have mentioned, the decor and music were fine. No pix of the dessert because I was distracted by then. After overnight reconsideration I am rounding my admittedly 2.5 down rather than up as before. There is so much more value in taste and service elsewhere on Pearl. I have had plenty of good European food and plenty of good service in restaurants in downtown Boulder for decades. This wasn't it. It was telling that only 5 tables occupied on a holiday weekend as we walked past many full places on the way here. I will not return .

So freaking good! Went for lunch yesterday. Literally…read moreeverything my husband and I tried was delicious. We started with the puffs- bursting with flavor and beautiful presentation- so creative. Then had the lobster rolls - perfection. And a cubano sandwich. Service was attentive and fast. Atmosphere was nice inside- pretty lights, not too crowded or loud. Will definitely be back - loved the flavorful creative twists on food.

This was a pretty good meal unexpectedly after the BOLDERBoulder run last weekend!…read more We thought the area would be too packed to find a table, but surprisingly there were plenty of open seats at around noon on Memorial Day. There are only two tables on their patio that have an umbrella, so we were sitting in the sun at first and it was getting really hot (but then we were able to snag a shaded table when it freed up shortly after) All of the menu options sounded so good, we started with drinks, I can't remember the name of my cocktail, but it had egg white in it and was so delicious. We ordered the burrata appetizer and all of our means at the same time. Unfortunately, the appetizer never came out, our server for that to put it in. I ended up going with the Bolognese and it was really good so was the steak frites and street cart chicken that my friends had. Their fries are pretty good. The server felt really bad for forgetting about our appetizer and offered us a free dessert instead, so we tried the churro donuts which were ok. I'm still it was a good meal and I would definitely come back if I'm in the Boulder area again soon

Brasserie Ten Ten feels increasingly rare now…read more Even in very good restaurants, actual tablecloths have become uncommon. At lunch, rarer still. So when you settle into Brasserie Ten Ten, with its white linen, substantial silverware, mirrors, low conversational buzz, and faint 1920s salon energy, you will notice. There's something a little Gertrude Stein about the place: people lingering, talking, drinking and eating well, behaving as if the outside world can wait. It feels slightly Parisian, in the best way. Refined but lived in. A room designed for appetite and conversation. If cigarettes were still allowed, you could almost imagine someone chain smoking over a third glass of wine while arguing about literature or the affair they're having. But this is still Boulder, where the fantasy stops just short of the inevitable side-eye and civic disapproval. And then there is the gauze-wrapped lemon. The first time I ever saw one of those mesh bundles tied up for squeezing over seafood, I thought it was the height of sophistication and luxury. The gauze has the faint sexiness of pantyhose while also serving a very practical purpose. A factory worker's kid like me being mesmerized by a lemon condom probably tells you something about aspiration in America. I started with the pâté, which was exactly the right kind of decadent. I paid the extra charge to swap the crostini for bread, which was absolutely the correct decision. I ate about a third and boxed the rest before things got irresponsible. The Boulder influence...nah. The accompaniments were classic: grainy mustard, tiny olives, and a small pile of pickled vegetables cutting through all that pâté richness. The bouillabaisse was mostly lovely. The seafood was cooked expertly, which matters in a dish where every type requires slightly different timing. The shrimp were especially sweet. I would have liked more cod, which felt a little stingy, and while the saffron broth was flavorful, it leaned more tomato-forward than I personally prefer. Still, between the mussels, shrimp, cod, rouille-slathered toast, and that absurdly elegant lemon situation, the fisherman's stew delivered exactly the kind of brasserie pleasure I came searching for. Service at the bar was confident and relaxed. Two bartenders understood the balance between attentiveness and hovering. Not doting, which I don't need, but every need was met. Real napkins. A dedicated, and attended, host stand. People who seemed comfortable in the room instead of performing hospitality theater. Not an everyday lunch. You notice the prices. You should. But every once in a while, it's good to sit somewhere that still believes lunch can stretch a little too long, conversation matters, and a gauze-wrapped lemon can still feel faintly glamorous. There may be no cigarette smoke, no Left Bank argument unfolding over wine, no real salon except the one you briefly imagine. But Brasserie Ten Ten still knows how to make lunch feel like an act of civilization: linen, appetite, conversation, and just enough theatre to make the afternoon seem...negotiable. Gertrude Stein probably would've approved.

If you love the feel of Paris, then you'll have to stop by Brasserie Ten Ten!…read more Ambiance is perfectly set up with amazing attention to detail with that French bistro authenticity and charm. The service is incredible and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is incredible and presented like you would expect from a French chef. Not a lot of plant based options, however, the Beet Salad with vinaigrette is outstanding, so there is that to enjoy. The flavors of sweet and salty are balanced perfectly! The colors and vibrancy also made it picture worthy. They offer an incredible wine selection that will suit everyone's tastes and preferences. Also, if you love coffee, their roast is delicious and it's the best ending to a lovely meal. Don't miss this place if you want a Parisian-style experience!

I was expecting a typical food hall and instead it felt much more elevated and thoughtfully designed than that. The way the coffee shop and bar sort of flow together makes the whole space feel really social without being chaotic, and the rooftop patio honestly makes it feel bigger than you'd expect from the outside. At the time, it felt surprisingly modern for Boulder in a really good way. It's also one of the best places to take visitors because everyone can find something they actually want and the quality across the different vendors is consistently solid. Huge bonus that there's a parking garage directly across the street too because parking in Boulder can otherwise become its own adventure.

The egg was the most foul bite, very chemically and I immediately gagged. Honestly hurt my appetite for the night. The roast beef sandwich was okay, needed more sauce/flavor and the bbq seasoned fries were a bit too salty for me. Good texture and fry on it though. Drinks are extremely expensive and not that good. Maybe during happy hour it's more reasonable. We sat on the roof and it was nice.
