I'm not a wine aficionado, so I can't comment on the quality of their wine selection, to the layman it seems expansive. They do not have liquor. I think the bruschetta boards are tasty, and I love how they cut into 4 for easy sharing with a group. I've enjoyed all of the bruschetta combos. The Salami Pesto and the Apple Brie were my two favorites on my most recent visit. I would skip the moz/tomato/basil on my next visit, flavors pail in comparison to the others options. The smoked salmon "Snack" was also really good and great for sharing. Chunky pieces of salmon and plenty of crackers/bread to get through the cheese and salmon. Meatballs weren't for me, they weren't bad, but I wouldn't order them again. Many other exciting things to try on the menu. I made a reservation for NYE and they called me ahead of time to see how many bottles of their special champagne deal we wanted to reserve, I appreciated the service and thought in giving us a call. Love this place and their happy hour that is from 12 to 6. You can go grab a small bit and a nice glass of wine for a reasonable price. Right now, that is hard to find. It is also in a great location and the servers that I have had were always friendly and fun to talk to. They have amazing bruschetta and tiny plates for everyone. I haven't had one I didn't like. The salads are amazing too and I am not a salad fan, but they have some great toppings and dressing that make my mouth happy. Delicious high quality food. Ingredients are thoughtfully put together. Our waitress Joann recommended the fried cauliflower which cakes with a romanesco sauce and sautéed raisins. I went out on a limb and got it and it was my favorite dish of the night. We also got the chefs plate charcuterie board and a Cesar salad with smoked salmon and a cheese and tomato appetizer. I love Postino's deal- $6 for ANY glass of wine before 5 PM. It makes it easier to try various wines at an affordable price. I normally get their boards, but I wanted to try something different and went with the soup and sandwich combo. Postino gets major points for having the BEST gluten free bread I've ever had (although celiacs be warned, their kitchen is rife with cross contamination). The bartender was a sweetheart and even offered to ring me up another glass of wine (that she would later serve me) before happy hour ended. The patio is nice with misters, full shade, and plants. The only reason I take off a star is because the red wine was served very cold, which kills the flavor. It should be served slightly below room temp, but never cold! read more

Very unusual and interesting menu. Started with the crispy cauliflower - whole head of caul, perfectly cooked, but too salty. We still at the whole thing, it was pretty delicious. My wife had a salad which she though was good, I had the tuna panini. Their ciabatta bread is truly excellent, perfectly toasted. The tuna was good, but the mustard was so strong it overpowered everything and caused me to break out in a sweat by the time I finished the sandwich. I love Postino. I went once last year when outside seating required heating and once this year when outdoor seating required misters. Both patio dining experiences were perfect. But I don't go for the experience, I go for the food, which is delicious. A board of 4 perfect crostinis cut into 4 perfect slices which makes it so easy to eat. The flavors are amazing. You cannot go wrong. Also, the tomato soup/grilled cheese sandwich is so amazing that even 9 months later I'm salivating just thinking of it. My friends and I went to Postinos every Tuesday for board and bottle and always loved it. If you're a fan of bruschetta, paninis and fun toast this is the place for you. Their wine selection has always been great and their food as well. A much more modern eatery that can get very busy. Waiters are generally nice and helpful and the restaurant is a beautiful indoor and outdoor joint. On a whim we tried Postino Grant and now have a new Tucson favorite. The restaurant itself is beautiful and upscale. It has a very cool indoor/outdoor bar. For starters we ordered "Crispy Cauliflower" ($12.95) which was flavorful with an excellent sauce. We ordered a "Prickly Pear Margarita" ($15) which was fun and unique. We shared a Bruschetta Board ($17.50) where you select four out 12 topping options. This was large enough for 2 people and excellent. We wrapped up with a "Cookie Sundae" ($10) that was again large enough to be shared by 2. The service last night was superior with a team approach making sure dishes were cleared quickly and customers were happy. This place is a Tucson jewel. We will be back soon. read more

The vibe of this Postino's was comfortable, relaxed and hip. Similar to their other location but more accessories. The menu and drink options fall into the gastropub and tappas bar style with a wine focus. They had a great selection of wines, microbrews and other spirits with options and recommendations from trained bar staff. We tried a sparkling rose and lovely Arizona Grenache, both were recommended for our palettes and we enjoyed. We had the bruschetta and a couple of paninis, which was more food than we could enjoy there but easy to take home. Each of the bruschetta were lovely. The bread was fresh and well toasted and the spreads were nicely balanced with just enough to compliment the bread. We tried the tuna and the nine iron paninis with salads. The nine iron had lots of meat and was a lovely balance of salt and savory while the tuna was sweeter but also very savory. We took part of each home as well as some of the salad. The romaine salad was simple but but a nice option instead of chips, and the 1/2 Brussels sprout salad tasted like autumn with kale, dried cherries, almonds and Brussel sprouts in a lemony dressing. For desert we had a sundae with fresh caramel and as full as we were we finished it. The caramel was the star and you could just eat that if you have a sweet tooth. As good as the food, wine and vibe, it was the staff that made it a five star experience. Everyone was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and they seemed to work well together helping it each. It got very busy as happy hour came around and the team clicked and knew how to manage it. Hip...check, wine...check, great food...check, comfortable ambiance...check, and amazing staff...check.
