I was invited to check out Postino Grant and was glad I did. The parking is a bit tricky as it is crowded but worth the effort. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We ate indoors but outside looked inviting. We were greeted when we arrived and service was good throughout the meal. I had the bruschetta board which comes with you choice of four toppings out of a choice of about 12. I had burrata, bacon, arugula and tomato; smoked salmon and pesto; mozzarella tomato and basil; and Brie, apple, and fig spread. My favorite was the one with apple though each was very good and packed with flavor. My daughter had the grilled cheese that came with tomato soup. I tasted the grilled cheese which was delicious and will be going back for that. There is a nice variety of salads, paninis and boards. Many good sounding items to try. Postino is one of my favorite spots for happy hour or just drinks and snacks with friends. Wine by the glass is only $6 until 5 p.m., which is about as good a deal as you can find. I'm also addicted to the bruschetta boards. With 12 different options and generous servings (each order comes with four good-sized slices each cut into four pieces and piled with toppings,) it's the perfect size for sharing and reasonably priced. A bruschetta board and four glasses of wine during happy hour costs about $50 with tax. I have enjoyed every bruschetta option that I've sampled and also really like the salads and sandwiches. Postino has a beautiful patio and with its large, open structure, is never too loud, regardless of how busy it is. I always have a pleasant experience. read more

Postino's happy hour is where it's at. You cannot find a better deal anywhere else in Tucson and this is my go-to for some casual day drinking and catch up with friends. The wine selection is extensive and I appreciate how they let you sample anything. As for food, it's hit or miss. The boards are what you want to order and I tend to avoid anything else. It's not that the rest of the items are bad, they're just ok. I was disappointed in the meatballs -- they were dry and didn't soak up any flavor of the sauce. Checked in here for the Yelp Elite event a while back. We had an amazing experience! I will almost ALWAYS get the chicken mozzarella panini; I always want to venture out but it's too good not to get it almost every time! While we were in, there was a strawberry shortcake (?) bruschetta that was really good! I saved it for last because it felt almost like a small dessert. I think it may have been the flavor of the month (or week?), either way, it was really good and I would get it again. I admit, I have never gone to a bruschetta place before. This was also my first time dining in since the pandemic started. When we went, it was around 7:00 p.m., and it was busy. We weren't able to find parking in the lot, so had to park across the street and walk over. Not too bad considering it was a beautiful day in terms of weather. For a table of three, we only had to wait about 15 minutes, despite it looking so busy. I feel like if you have a larger group, it would be much harder to get seating. The atmosphere was excellent; the overhead music was a little louder than I would prefer, but otherwise it was a more intimate atmosphere than somewhere like culinary dropout across the street (which is the usual choice for louder, larger groups). In terms of alcohol, they mainly had beers and wines, which was a bit tough on me since I am more of a mixed drink person. However, I was able to choose a pretty mellow wine, which suited my taste. For the food menu, you'll have to scan a QR code on the drinks menu to view it, rather than a physical menu (or browse on Yelp haha). In terms of the bruschetta, I actually could not choose only four options, since they all sounded so good. I asked our server for recommendations, and took their first four picks. They included: - the sweet and spicy pepper jam with goat cheese (mainly sweet, with mild spice in the back of the throat) - the warm artichoke -the apple and brie fig (the contrast of the crunch of the apple was great) - the smoked salmon and pesto All were excellent. I really love places that give a sort of sampler platter style since I usually want to just try multiple things on the menu, but I'm limited by how much I can stuff in my stomach. Tl;dr: This is an excellent place to go for smaller groups to enjoy a light meal or foods with some alcohol (though no hard liquor options). I just love this place from the diverse spread of brushettas to the tasteful apps to the classy space. Great date spot, friend spot & work hangout spot! I've never had to wait as they have ample spacing, which is also a big plus. The only downside is that it can be hard to find parking since they share the lot with snooze. Checked out Postino as part of a Yelp Elite event and man was I highly impressed. Let me start off with the level of service was spectacular. We got checked on multiple times by various individuals throughout our time there. We never not needed something and no one was around. Amazing service. The ambiance was checking the Vibe check. They had low dimmed lights, out door seating, inside seating, and couches. I feel like this place would be good for a first day or going out with your gfs for a drink. THE FOOD! Well it was phenomenal, def do the bruschetta it's soool filling. We also got the beef panini with Focaccia bread and HolyCOW was that good too. The only downside was that the aju dipping sauce was a tad salty so we enjoyed it without the dipping juice. Overall, phenomenal experience and will be going back for the Monday night special. Loved everything about this restaurant from the ambiance to the food to the service. Great concept with different bruschetta options and tapas style dishes. Since everything sounded amazing on the menu, we actually ordered more food than we needed. But wasn't complaining since we just took home the leftovers. Merry Christmas Eve Yelp readers. I had a last minute get together today and needed help with lunch. I tried this place out and ordered the gluten free Panini Platter (serves 4-6), mixed green salad (serves 4-6), and cauliflower (serves 4-6). I didn't know how the sandwiches would taste being gluten free, but they tasted really good. The platter had different verities of sandwiches, and would feed 8 adults easily. The salad and dressing provided was delicious. The cauliflower's were huge and flavored with a smoked chipotle type sauce. Very yummy! The carry home packaging was nice. Very large tin pans with a plastic cover. I enjoyed this lunch and so did the guests. Try this place for large gatherings and I'm going to try it as a sit-in customer once I get a chance. read more

We chose mushroom and mascarpone; smoked salmon and pesto (the crispy fried capers on top are the best!); prosciutto, fig and mascarpone; and burrata, bacon, tomato, and arugula. Every bite was an explosion of flavor that we didn't want to end! The patio is delightful and the interior is trendy and comfortable - it's all a very inviting atmosphere. The service was not only flawless but friendly. Add to that a happy hour all day every day until 5pm that offers $6 glasses of wine and a $6 32oz pitcher of beer and it irresistible. Very cute place, great food. bruschetta board is amazing. However.... It came with our sandwiches and would have liked it do be more of an appetizer, and then they forgot one of our sandwiches. The service was sadly very disappointing. My niece had her bridal shower at Postino's. They roped off a private area that gave us just enough privacy for games and fun without being closed off or bothering other diners. The charcuterie board was fantastic and absolutely delicious - especially the crispy cauliflower & sauce. I liked Postino's so much that when my sister came to visit a month later, I decided to take her here for tapas & drinks. Once again, the food & drinks didn't disappoint. We sat outside on the patio, and it was quite comfortable. The servers were pleasant service was a-okay, albeit not as attentive as we might have liked. We had to request water etc, a couple of times. The decor is nice, and the atmosphere contemporary. Parking availability is in front of the restaurant and very adequate. I might not choose it for dinner but it would be great for any get-together with friends, a wine date, a business meeting, and more. I would definitely recommend a visit. read more

2nd review: I came here with a friend while I'm on a diet. I was so pleasantly pleased with the options I had. I ended up ordering a delicious red wine after tasting a few. To go with it I ordered the crispy cauliflower, which comes in romesco sauce, and the skewers snack. The romesco sauce was amazing! 10/10 for the cauliflower for flavor and size. It's a whole head of cauliflower so great for sharing. Our server was also very personable and gave great recommendations. This place was really fun!! The sharable your menu and wine list make it a great place to go with friends and enjoy a casual happy hour or dinner together. I had a panini, which was generously portioned with a small side salad. The straccitella mozzarella was DELICIOUS and melded all of the components of the sandwich together really well. The bacon was also that wonderful salty, crispy, perfectly cooked magical goodness you hope bacon will be. The appetizers that folks got also looked fantastic, the cauliflower looked roasty and beautiful and the bruschetta board was gorgeous too, so many varieties of bruschetta to pick from! The prices were also reasonable and the atmosphere was inviting and airy with lots of outdoor options. The one missing start was for service, which was okay but not great. Our server was kind but for the restaurant not being very busy, we waited a long time for each step of dinner, from ordering to getting our food to paying and had to request water multiple times, etc.. My daughter requested that I give this place a 10-star rating. The ambiance and decor are stunning and give off a trendy, hipster vibe. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly. It's a wine bar that doesn't serve liquor, but they have a great selection of bruschetta, small plates, paninis, soups, and salads. We ordered shrimp scampi, bruschetta, meatballs, chicken/beef skewers, and a grilled cheese for the kid.It happened to be happy hour, so we enjoyed $6 wine glasses, which was a nice bonus. We went there last night and it was a young crowd. The place was lively and "vivace" and we got seated right away (and changed our table with no fuss at all from the host). Then we were greeted by Christina who made sure we had water and drinks in less than two minutes. She then came back as we looked ready and guided us through the options and was super patient as we ordered "tapas style." We couldn't decide on the chef's board, so we got four others and waited. She brought out everything super quick and then surprised us with the chef's board anyway. Delightful. She came back every 10 minutes or so just to check on us and was as pleasant as any server in Tucson hospitality. The food was delightful, the ambiance was a perfectly lighted warm tone, and the drinks were crafted with a deft hand. When our normal brunch spot fell through, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Postinos is now serving brunch! We enjoyed Bellinis alongside our variety of breakfast dishes. If you're in the mood for something savory and pretty healthy, I'd recommend their P.R.E.A.M. Bowl, which is a delicious way to start the day and kept me full for hours. There are 10 seasonal beers on tap which rotate and about 20 cans & bottles of beer available as well. The food menu is composed mainly of snacky things - appetizers, panini, soups & salads. But they are known for their bruschetta boards. You can choose 4 for $16.25 which gives a nice sampling of the different flavors offered. There are about 10 to choose from plus a seasonal offering that changes frequently. My favs have been the Brie, apple & fig; smoked salmon & pesto; piquillo pepper & goat cheese; and the prosciutto, fig & marscapone. Each slice of the 4 bruschettas are cut into 4 pieces which makes sharing easy. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that the crusts on the bruschetta were really hard and difficult to gnaw through. The toppings were great though. The menu offerings are mostly bread-centric so this might not be the best place if you're low carb, but there are some veggie or protein appetizers and of course the salads are always an option. They do offer gluten-free bread for an up-charge. The vibe is casual but nice. There's a large wraparound patio with lots of outdoor seating.
