I came to Posto 22 on a cold and windy Sunday with a company of six, and we left warm and satisfied. The restaurant is lovely; it's clean, chill, and ambient. Not to mention, the waiters were incredibly nice and attentive (possibly because we were the only ones dining). Not terribly pricey. We ordered the clams, mussels, and calamari as appetizers. They came in pretty generous portions to match their price -- I totally approve. And the bread in the breadbasket was marvelous. Honestly, I could not praise the bread enough. Seemed fresh out of the oven and tasted fluffy and almost buttery like a biscuit. I ordered the Posto 22 flatbread pizza, which was just cheese and tomato with some basil, aka regular pizza. The tomatoes were a little bit too sour, kind of overwhelmingly so. I can't say that it was amazing. (I think I would have enjoyed the Cajun Chicken flatbread more.) But I did get a chance to sample the steak, and it was perfectly glazed -- albeit dry since we wanted it well done. The mashed potatoes are pretty decent, and the vegetable of the day was a cute addition. My dad ordered the veal parmigiana and loved it. So overall I would call it was a pretty solid eat. read more

My Menu Choices: Posto 22 Restaurant and Wine Bar has the most sumptuous Garlic Bread with Mozzarella. Sorry, I got carried away....let me start over. Posto 22 Restaurant specializes in Italian cuisine and has a serious wine selection. Okay back to the garlic bread with mozzarella..... Couple this yummy appetizer with their Penne alla Vodka and you have an intoxicating meal (literally). Their Penne alla Vodka has "taste-bud tingling" spices with a hint of cream (yum). And if you're bold and know no boundaries you will try their Oreo Mousse for dessert. Service: Focused and quick service. Drinks were made efficiently and dishes came out fresh and hot. Décor: The inside is cozy and lights are dim (compliments my eyes). I love the light honey mustard walls outline in brick-oven red. For some reason the combination of those colors incites a feeling of hunger (mouth watering). One simple detail that I extremely liked was the mirror with the names of wines on it. I guess it's convenient when you are newbie in the entire wine game (so I admit). Location: When looking for parking, right across the street, the luxury building Avalon on the Sound East allows people to access the first floor parking lot. More importantly, the restaurant has Valet parking. read more

Second trip here for lunch. Quaint little place with a nice, clean interior and good lunch specials (and plenty of specials from which to choose). They bring you nice, warm bread once you're settled in, which is fabulous with a little olive oil, balsamic, & pepper. Service is adequate though the staff will never be accused of being TOO warm or friendly. Parking available on the street and, very conveniently, across the street as well. Food was brought out in a good amount of time and was delicious (I had the Chicken Napolitano and pasta e fagioli soup). The soup could have had a little more flavor but a little pepper and Parmesan cheese spruced it up. Be warned that the lunch specials' portions aren't large by any means but it hit the spot and was enough for me to not be hungry any longer. It was a nasty day out and the restaurant was not super crowded so I feel that the staff who watched us walk out could have at least acknowledged our departure, thanked us for coming in today, or invited us back. The lack of the little extra prevents me from giving this a higher rating. 3.5 (which I rounded up to 4 stars) would have been the appropriate rating based on my experience. read more

The worst Italian place in Westchester. Actually the service was good but the food is horrible. At least for true Italians.

I've eaten at Posto 22 and have had takeout from them and it's been excellent every time. We just used them for off-site catering for my mom's 60th birthday and they knocked it out of the park!!!! They provided appetizers, dinner buffet, and the bar. The food and drinks were amazing and the bartenders and servers were outstanding!!! They were fun and personable and provided excellent service. A million thanks to Nick, Mike, Kayla, and Jimmy for making our event everything we hoped for and more! I would absolutely recommend Posto for any event. read more

So this is another great dining experience at this place. I had a repeat of the capellini with white clam sauce. Once again, I ordered "extra clams" and they were generous to the point whereby I couldn't even see the pasta :-). Very flavorful and rich sauce with some left at the bottom of the plate for dipping. This time around, "Brianna" waited on me with her very friendly and AWESOME service. You rock, Brianna!!! See you again soon for sure. read more

My fiance and I had our rehearsal dinner here last Friday night (5/17). Everything was delicious and the service was superb. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone, from everything from a delicious date night, to a larger event (we had about 35 people). Management made our event so seamless and easy - and our guests were raving about the food. We will definitely be back here soon! read more

We had attended a Christening party for my cousin's baby boy today and following it we had a small get together at Posto 22. The waiters very nice and got the foods/drinks out promptly. The restaurant was pretty nice, but I was sitting right under the vent and was freezing my butt off. The chicken dishes were good, and the pizza was excellent. One of the pies had chicken and peppers on it, and it was a very interesting taste. We don't live close by so I most likely won't be back unless I'm at a relatives, but it was a nice place with good food. read more

Fantastic little spot in downtown New Ro. Great spot for a date night. The Italian food is spot on, and I really love the ambiance. Prices are reasonable. Favorite dish is the Penne a la Vodka. My soon to be wife had her bridal shower here, and Nick, Joe, and the rest of the staff were amazing. Everything was perfect. Can't wait to visit again when I'm in New Ro! read more

Posto it the perfect place to go for a great meal and great service. A friendly comfortable atmosphere for all!!

White truffle pizza is to die for. If you don't care for spinach you may want to ask them to leave it off. So tasty though!!!

Absolutely delicious. This guy rob Conti was the waiter and he had such a great personality and made sure everything was amazing. I would recommend asking for rob as your waiter when you go. read more

There is no point in making a reservation. My husband and I made a reservation for our anniversary and it was clear that we were an oversight. Instead of admitting that they weren't ready for us, they set up a make shift table for two. We were seated right next to the bathroom, kitchen and heavy traffic area. As we were eating the busboys kept bumping into our elbows and their bodies were practically on our table to continue serving the busy restaurant. We were also one foot away from the table next to us. We might as well have introduced ourselves and made four new friends because that's how close we were and how well we got to know them from having to hear their conversation. Despite all of that, the drinks, food and our waiter were great. Not sure if we'll be back simply because of how we were treated and how everyone failed to acknowledge the inconsiderate accommodations. read more

All dishes were delicious, waiters were top shelf, and I really liked the vibe of the place. Will definitely return!!!

Good food, good ambiance. Server was a little overbearing but better than being underbearing!

Had the most amazing dinner tonight! The food was beyond delicious, the atmosphere was calm. The energy and vibe of the staff made the entire experience perfect. Celebrated 2 birthdays with a party of 12 (6 being children under the ages of 7!) the staff was so kind and efficient. I was in awe on how well they all worked together. 100% recommended this place either for a family dinner or intimate date. Perfect for any event. read more

My husband and I recently had our baby shower at posto 22 and let me say we are beyond happy with the service, food and drinks. The food was amazing, everyone loved it . We order 4-5 times a week. Almost always good. Ordering on Sunday is sketchy. I'm sure my dinner tonight came off a platter from an earlier party. Different as if you ate it later on. Nothing hot. Why bother calling. Like I said almost always good. read more

Posto saves the day again! Let me elaborate: Since Quarantine, I've ordered from here at least once a week. Why? There's a lot of variety, the food always comes quick, at a good temperature and neatly packaged. Last night, I was craving a dessert and carvel wasn't on uber eats for some reason, so I decided to try good Ol' faithful posto 22's brownie and cheesecake dishes. It was an excellent choice and I strongly recommend! read more

After two successful takeout attempts from Posto 22, we decided to eat in on Valentine's Day and were so pleased. There was great service, and the food was awesome. They gave us delicious warm bread right away, and they were super attentive, coming back often to fill our water glasses. They even apologized for the wait for our food, when we didn't feel like it was taking too long or anything. They also gave us a couple of roses for Valentine's Day. I'll definitely be back. read more

Chicken cappricciosa is the best! Great services and attention. Also, right across the street from my apartment. Nothing beats that!

Really great food, and they do amazing jobs with catering. I ordered the night before for an 11:15 catering delivery and not only were they early for the delivery, the food was delicious, they were so friendly, but they were so helpful through the process! read more

The food was fantastic however the service was poor. We spent over 500 dollars and celebrated 2 birthdays. The service could not care less. No smiles no customer service they seemed more annoyed that they had to work. It is a shame because my broccoli Rabe orrechiate was pretty good. We had mussels and clams oregano that were very good. But again they forgot my bday cake and after we spent over 500 dollars no one said thank you. NO ONE poor service and most likely won't see us again. Owners your staff this past Sunday needs either a personality change or change in staff. The food again was fantastic venue pretty. But service was way below par. 3 stars because of the food. read more

I've been coming to posto for over three years now and it's one of my favorite restaurants ever! My friends and I go here about every 2 weeks, sometimes more. The food is absolutely delicious, and their specials are some of my favorite meals. I am a vegetarian and they are always so accommodating with customizing certain meals to remove the meat. I even come here sometimes with friends just to have drinks because the bar is so lively and fun. Mike is the best/funniest bartender ever!! Everyone who works there is super nice and attentive. read more

TL;DR: There are a lot of great restaurants in the area but this one is probably the best. Just started eating here in late June (delivery only, so far) as I work nearby on Sundays. I've had Orecchiette w/ Broccoli Rabe & Hot Sausage (thanks for having the spicy sausage, by the way), a Cavatelli dish with shrimp & sausage, and then the chicken scarp. All three were best in class. Also, the raspberry lemonade is incredible. And, as usual for this goddamned website, I look down and see a bunch of absurd one-star reviews; one from a person who gave the place one-star because of the valet company, because that makes sense and another that gave the place one-star despite having "good experiences in the past." Do not listen to these people. They are miserable and only looking to spread their misery. read more

Let me say first that the staff was great. That 1 star is for them! Attentive and polite. As far as the food, that's another matter. I had high hopes for this place, based on the previous reviews. Let me just say, as a family we thoroughly enjoy eating out, have been to many places in the tri-state area. Authentic & fresh pasta, fresh herbs and most of all, a good wine list will get us there. However, this meal was utterly disappointing. Ravioli was described by my teen - as gummy. I tasted it and felt sauce was acidic and pasta reminded me of frozen ravioli aftermath. :( Husband ordered the house special of spinach fettuccine and chicken dish - which had no flavor - could not distinguish the chicken from the pasta - seriously. I ordered shrimp scampi on a bed of risotto which came In at very high notes of lemon and salt. Not delicate- not tasty - didn't taste fresh - except for the fresh parsley - but just not flavorful. Just lemon and salt. We were so disappointed, had high hopes of enjoying an evening out at a local restaurant and those hopes were dashed. read more

What a special place this is! My husband, daughters, and I made our first visit last Thursday night, and were completely wowed. We were seated in the main dining room, which has exposed brick walls and funky chandeliers, and somehow managed to feel both sophisticated and cozy. Immediately, we were greeted by a charming waitress. The menu is full of tempting options - for appetizers, we chose the fried zucchini sticks and the burrata salad. When they arrived, we were impressed by how large the portions were: it was a mini mountain of zucchini, and we received not one ball of burrata, as is customary in many restaurants, but two. My entree, the veal parm, was a knockout. The scallopini were just a smidge thicker than I prefer, but they were soft and tender, and sauced just right. Again, the portion was enormous - I took at least half of the dish home, and it was maybe even more delicious reheated the next day! Everyone else in my family ordered pasta. My husband had a special of steak tips with pasta in a cream sauce, while my older daughter enjoyed their signature dish of papardelle with porcini mushrooms in a truffle cream sauce. I sampled both these entrees, and they were scrumptious. I didn't sample the linguine with clam sauce that my younger daughter ordered, but she raved about it. Lastly, desserts here are not an afterthought, but a memorable finale to a deeply satisfying meal. We savored a special of chocolate chip cookies served in a mini cast iron skillet, plus an apple cobbler--usually I don't go for apple desserts, but this was divine! From the ambience to the service to the food, Posto 22 knocks it out of the park. We'll be back for sure -- and soon! read more
