I went here for a private party for a First Communion celebration. We had the back room reserved for our party and the staff was very nice and very courteous to our group, which included some very elderly aunts, uncles, and grandmas, and some boisterous school friends of my niece's. The food was excellent, 5 course meal...appetizer, salad,pasta, entree & dessert. All courses were served family style except the entree, which was a choice of chicken martini, stuffed filet of sole, or black angus steak. No one was disappointed. The only drawback I could see would be if I were to eat there on a weekend night, i would have to probably go exactly at 8pm! Our party started at 6, the restaurant was jammed with loud families. They cleared out and by 10 the restaurant was jammed with loud over 50's drinking at the bar. I like quiet dinners. :) read more

The food is okay.....except for the gluten free pizza. That is definitely a no-no, it was like a huge cracker just slathered with red sauce. I have had the gluten free pasta and it has been okay. If my waist would allow me to go there every day I would. They have something going on every night although, Sangria Wednesdays and Martini Thursdays are probably my favourite nights to visit Posto 22. The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious. Came here for lunch. It was great. I had an ice tea to drink and it tasted great and was served in a huge mason jar. To eat, my table ordered fried zucchini which was the thing I was least pleased with. They lacked salt for taste. I ordered the crab cake sandwich with fries. I enjoyed my sandwich, but I wasn't a fan of the bread it was served with, it was supermarket bread that I've bought before. None the less, the crab cake was good and so were the fries. The rest of the party ordered an Hot antipasto sampler as their main dish. I tried the calamari and clams and they were both good. I heard wonderful things about the rice balls. I had my mom's 50th birthday surprise party at Posto 22 yesterday and i couldn't have asked for anything better! We booked the side-room (with the bar) and the service was exceptional. I did not have open bar but the people in my party were easily able to open up their own tabs and get their drinks. I highly recommend the flatbread pizzas and calamari as starters. The chicken martini, and orreccheti with broccoli rabe and sausage were huge hits as entrees. Servings were large as we chose family style dining. Posto 22 was very accommodating, and even brought out my mom's cake to sing her happy birthday! All in all, a great experience for large parties and for just a night out with friends. Thank you for making my son's baptism complete with your food! This past Sunday we had Posto 22 cater our son's baptism outside in picnic area. We ordered the salmon, chicken martini, roasted potatoes, penne a la vodka and tossed salad. This order came with their delicious focaccia bread. The salmon was grilled and a bit over cooked but so delicious!! The food was great and food was delivered just in time! We will definitely order from them again. My family and I had a family event here. The food was very good and the service was terrific. We had the steak pizzaiola, chicken martini, penne ala vodka, calamari and salad. Went here after reading the many good reviews. The food was very flavorful and we'll definitely be back! Service was great - maybe a bit too much, but better than not being checked up on at all. Only complaint was the side of spinach and roasted potatoe that came with my meal was very dry, but besides that the appetizer and both of our meals were delicious and generously portioned. I got the chicken parmesan and it was GIANT! It came with two huge breasts and pasta. My only complaint was for a family restaurant in a small town it was pretty pricey. It would have been nice for it to be a few dollars cheaper, especially for the area. I would expect these prices to be in NYC but not New Rochelle. read more

Ordered 2 Eggplant Parms from here yesterday along with many other things. In regards to the Eggplant Parms I can honestly say that all I recieved was cheese. For the price, disappointed isn't even the word. Something has got to give especially when people are making large orders. To top it off, everything else was just ok. Sunday Night I ordered through Seamless, and the order they got a bit wrong, so I called it was probably so my fault, but I was okay with the error told them just credit for the item, Posto 22 went beyond professionalism, they remade the wrong and sent it to me with a taxi and gave me a bottle of wine. We had a baby shower at this restaurant in their new dining space which provided privacy for the event. The space was great and the staff were amazing. Everyone was so cordial, friendly and helpful. The food was also very good. read more

Food was very, very good. I highly recommend the homemade pappardelle with mushrooms and light cream sauce. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Other food was quite good; service was very good. Music was a little on the loud side and it was pop music. It kind of cheapened the atmosphere. We were happy overall though. read more

Lots of locals go here and I have eaten brunch, dinner and late night here. Most recently I had dinner with friends and every dish seemed better than I remember. Baked clams and eggplant appetizers were light, tasty and obviously well-thought out in texture, color and presentation. I had a superb baby spinach salad for the main course, particularly the dressing. Other guests had orrechiette with broccoli rabe and the branzino leggero, a sea bass dish with pesto, grilled vegetables, citrus topping and patoto au gratin. Good food with very nice wait staff. Their bread is to DIE for and I always end up filling up on that before my meal comes. While the service is always good, it's a little inconsistent. Sometimes when I come, they offer fresh pepper and parmesan, other times they don't. Sometimes the waitress will explain your options, sometimes they won't. The initial time that I had received a salty order I assumed that it was just an off day so I felt ok in having my party catered from here. Mistake. Every single dish was saltier than the last. Went to this restaurant a few weeks back with my family. I live in New Rochelle and had often passed by there but had never gone in. I am so glad I did. The food was delicious! And I liked the portion sizes. The restaurant itself is modern and spacious. The staff was very friendly and on top of everything. Went there on a Tuesday night last minute for dinner. The bar was crowded when you walked in so we sat at a table. They have 1/2 price bottles or wine or glasses which was great. We ended up getting 2 bottle of wine for the price of one which was only $24. The food was OK. We got buffalo calamari which was alright it needed more bread crumbs on it. The veal was a little tough to cut. Would definitely go back for drink specials because everyday they had something different, not sure about the food. read more

First time at Posto 22 with a friend yesterday and needless to say the food was sub par. I can understand why the college students in the area love this place. They don't know any better. My chicken tasted burnt and the eggplant wasnt well cooked either. Avoid the cheese tortellini soup. There was also a fly buzzing around our table for the entire meal. Was a bit disgusted and turned off by this. Most likely not going to revisit this establishment. Only gave it a second star because the waitress was friendly. read more

I have come here with my mother a few times. Its good, but our problem is they rush you out. It has happened every time we have eaten there. The bronzino entrée is a great choice, but the gnocchi are definitely not. We have a tried a few of their specials and they are always have some very good choices. For dessert, their chocolate cake is a nice way to end the meal. Hopefully they will slow down on their service. read more

I have been to this restaurant on a date and gotten delivery many times from this restaurant. However, it wasn't until I ordered "penne marinara with garlic and oil" and received penne with garlic and oil that I had to write my review. It's a decent Olive Garden type restaurant. The menu has since been updated to say "side penne with garlic and oil" and offers "side penne with marinara." So while I am glad the menu has been corrected, I think it's pathetic that an American-born Taiwanese woman had to tell them how to write their Italian menu. So they get two stars out of pity since they did actually try to fix their mistakes, but I'm still on the hunt for a better Italian restaurant. read more

I want to love Posto but disappointed so many times. The "shrimp risotto" is terrible. they fooled me twice with this. It is rice in a bowl turned over on a plate with like 6 shrimp placed around this odd round bowl of rice. The rice is not creamy it is tasteless, it is simply not risotto. Get it together guys!! oh and the staff... well lets just say they were more interested in chatting in the archway out of site then taking our drink or food orders. read more
