Amazing hotpot experience from start to finish! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned everything from the broth to the dipping sauces was on point. The restaurant was clean, cozy, and had a great vibes. Huge shoutout to our server, Jason Lin they were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. They explained the menu clearly, checked on us at just the right moments, and made sure we had everything we needed. You can really tell they care about great service. Can't wait to come back again. This place is so DELICIOUS!! My wife and I are newer to the area and looked up a random hot pot place and found this gem. I walk and we're seated immediately by friendly staff. Food - my wife got the beef satay hotpot and I got the house special hot pot. I loved my pot especially because of the fermented tofu, which reminds me of the stinky tofu I tried in Taiwan many years ago. The soup just tastes very authentic and yummy Friendly staff - we had very positive and friendly interactions with the staff. We even met the owner Tom and he was very friendly and personal, even sharing about his personal journey moving here from Taiwan to open up this restaurant. Went here for lunch & was excited that a new shop was in the area. It was really gloomy & cold today, so I figured to have some soup! The broth was flavorful, but almost overfilling so I had to eat very careful. The kimchi was overpowering as 80% of the dish had cabbage & barely any meat. Came back again with my kids and the service was wonderful. This spot is slowing becoming my go to when it's raining. Service was 10/10 and my food came out fast. Hailey and Jason were very attentive and always filled up my broth/water quickly. Sorry y'all, but I found nothing unique about this place other than just below average hot pot with a long waiting time. Came on a Friday night with a group of 4 and only have one group of 2 ahead of us. We waited about 40 minutes before finally being seated. Ordering took a bit because our table didn't have a QR code which I guess you use to order so we had to call for the waiter to take our order. Food also took quite a bit to cook and came out one by one. We noticed this as we were eyeballing the tables while waiting for seats. I got the satay hot pot. While filling and large for a big guy like myself, the flavor was extremely lacking and honestly, it just tasted like watered down "soup." Their fried tofu was meh, but their popcorn chicken was on point. So yeah, a lot of waiting and near-flavorless meal. Definitely won't be returning. read more

I've visited both Pot on Fire locations, here and in Chino. When comparing them to the three popular spots nearby--Boiling Point, Tasty Pot, and this one--I would rank Pot on Fire third overall. In terms of service, this location was very good. We went on a Tuesday, and all the tables were filled. The service was fast, and we had no issues. Unfortunately, the food was subpar. The size of the pot is comparable to the competitors, but the portion sizes and quality fall behind. I ordered the Taiwanese Spicy Beef, and the amount of vegetables was laughable. The beef pieces were so small it felt like minced beef rather than sliced. The additional items were also lacking; I received only half a ramen, one fish ball, one blood cake, and two broken pieces of intestines. In contrast, other places pack the food tightly in the pot, with hardly any liquid around. I sincerely hope they improve their quality. I would hate to see the only hotpot place in Eastvale going out of business. read more

The hot pot itself is good. Not spectacular but certainly a good meal. Everything else on the menu is mediocre and vastly overpriced. We got sides for popcorn chicken, fries, and chicken wings. The popcorn chicken and wings were good, not great, but cost what more than what it would be anywhere else in the area. The popcorn chicken was $8 and I could get 4x the amount of chicken for $6 from Chat Tea just 10 minutes away. That's not an exaggeration either. You can see my picture for how much we received (we ordered it for takeout). So yeah, just overall if you just want the hot pot and nothing else, this is alright. I wouldn't wait in a line for it. And avoid ordering anything that isn't a beverage because they will screw you over on portion and quality compared to the price. read more

First time at Pot on Fire and it was a great experience! Although it was busy we didn't have to wait long and got seated fairly quickly. There was a variety of soup bases to pick from but, I decided to go with the sukiyaki broth which was extremely yummy and I like that you and adjust spice levels too! Ordering is done digitally so it's nice that there's an easy way to browse the menu! Service exceeded expectations and every employee I encountered was kind and friendly! came back today, but decided to get the same hot pot as we got last time because it's so good (taiwanese beef spicy pot), and also ordering some of their appetizers, we got popcorn chicken (my favorite), french fries (the portion a little bit too small), chicken wings (just okay). the kids meal was good too, for $9 you got a pot with udon, shrimp, beef, and some veggie for the kids. they said the soup base is kinda same with the sukiyaki pot. service was good even they don't really check on the little flag when we put up for more broth, but they still gonna ask if we're doing okay. ambiance was cozy, and they have some booth seating for max of 4 people. keep up the good work! what should i try next for the pot? because i think the taiwanese spicy beef pot is the best one read more

i have mixed feelings writing this because the service here was truly wonderful. the staff was kind and accommodating and the ambiance was lovely. however i had a serious health incident regarding my meal. i ordered the kimchi hot pot which did not list shrimp as an ingredient. unfortunately the dish contained shrimp. this could have been an accident or something but I'd never ask to add shrimp to my meal knowing my allergy. while i tried to manage by removing it & giving it to my husband i had a reaction mid meal and am currently dealing with stomach flu symptoms that required a trip to the er. i want to leave this feedback so the restaurant can update their menu descriptions and ensure the kitchen is aware of unlisted ingredients. it is a shame because i enjoyed the atmosphere but due to the health risk i won't be able to return. This place doesn't even deserve the one star. The quality of the food has gone downhill since you guys first opened. The girl servers were being blatantly rude and ignored us all evening. Came here on Sunday, tried their lamb pot and house special hot. Lamb pot is very special and the house special broth is so flavorful! The most surprising thing is the quality of the meat they offer! They are the only Taiwanese personal hotpot place provide such good quality of meat. Came again on Monday lunch for the sandwiches and takoyaki! The sandwich is so cute and so delicious! Food was okay. The service was the most frustrating part of this experience. We understand if the restaurant is busy or there's a lack of people working but that wasn't the case. We got our pots at different times, rice/noodle was forgotten, and when dropping off the soup, the fire was not lit. It was difficult to find people to light our fire, get more broth, or fill waters. When we went to pay up front, all the workers were chatting in the back which explains why we very rarely saw anyone working up front. read more

I visited this hotpot restaurant around 8:20 PM and ordered the pumpkin hotpot and an appetizer. To be honest, I'm not sure if we arrived too late for dine-in, but the portion size of the hotpot was very disappointing. I took a picture right after mixing the soup, there was basically nothing except a few pieces of pork, some corn, and a couple of veggies. The appetizer was overcooked and too hard to enjoy. he customer service, however, was good, and the employees were polite. Overall, it wasn't a great experience, especially since there aren't many hotpot options nearby in Eastvale. I had high hopes for this place, but it didn't meet expectations, and the price didn't justify the portion sizes. :( read more
