Perfect spot on a cold rainy dayyy! Basically Taiwanese style soup with different flavors so even if you dont like the spicy Taiwan flavors they offer, Korean, Japanese and even Thai! Went with the og spicy and requested it be half spice a half water (side spicy sauce) because the flavor can be numbing! Came w sliced beef, fish balls, beef balls, napa, corn, shrooms. Look for the sauces, they are your friend! Dip, sip, rice and drink a bit of hot broth! Missing star- pricey, not sure our server changed his gloves after working w cleaning supplies and noodles, touching his hat etc etc. Workers should be mindful of those things. Milk tea was just average...

Had an opportunity to try this Hot Pot with my baby girl because she was craving some soup. She had the sukiyaki non spicy & I had the spicy taiwanese. The food was delicious and soothing. Burn my tongue a few times, but well worth it.

BIG BIG FAN!!! Bf and I were really craving hot pot one night so we decided to try this place out since we were in the area and have become returning customers. The signal around this complex is terrible, but they have wifi which is nice! The restaurant is on the smaller side, so when it gets busy, the wait can be a bit. There were two servers when we went + a kitchen staff who would bring the food out. They are all super friendly and check in pretty often, which is nice. I don't think there was ever a time when I was waiting for water or more soup refill because they walk around asking pretty consistently. I got the Tomato Tofu pot, which hits the spot every time. It's not super tomato-y like how it would be from haidilao, but it's still really good and unique. The portion is huge for me with plenty of sliced pork and tofu. Lots of cabbage too. They have a rice or vermicelli side option and I always get the vermicelli lol. I wish it was just slightly more bc sometimes I just really want noodles haha. My bf has tried the Satay Beef pot, which he has also enjoyed. It also came with plenty of meat and veggies. I'm also a huge fan of the popcorn chicken. Not many places do the five spice popcorn chicken, so when I do find a place that does it, it becomes a regular for me haha. Good portion! The place can get pretty busy during dinner, so do consider that if you go around 8 or so. It doesn't get super loud though, so that's a huge plus. Can't wait to go back!

sukiyaki pot. i will ALWAYS come back for this. i go between the eastvale and chino hills location but honestly, i prefer the eastvale one way more. the toppings and portions are always consistent here! i love the sukiyaki pot so much. i range between no spice-medium and it always is so dang good. their popcorn chicken is also so good too!

Ordered to go and it was a very satisfying bowl of house special hotpot to enjoy at home. I reboiled it at home to heat it up and eat it in a pot. Though, I ordered mild spicy and it was def a lot spicier than a just a little kick. Overall it has a good balance of cabbage, meat slices, and other toppings. Even with the extra heat, it was still a comforting and very satisfying meal. The garlic soy and chili bean sauce is so good!

Pot on Fire is one of those unassuming spots that surprises you -- tucked in the 99 Ranch Market complex, it's calm when you walk in but brimming with flavor once you sit down. The staff was warm and welcoming, seating us right away and walking us through the specials like old friends. I ordered the Taiwanese Spicy Beef Pot, and wow! It came loaded with everything from sliced beef and tofu skin to pork intestine and pork blood cake -- my first time trying both, and I'm officially a fan. That rich, aromatic broth tied it all together beautifully, and the iced green tea on the side was a thoughtful touch. Our daughter shared some noodles (sans broth, her style), while we demolished a Crispy Chicken Filet appetizer that was practically a meal on its own. My husband's Beef Don Bento Box hit all the right comfort notes. Great portions, friendly service, and an easygoing vibe -- a perfect pre-grocery stop that turned into a mini family feast.

It drizzled in Ontario today and I instantly craved hot pot. Luckily, this restaurant wasn't too far from us so my friend and I came in right before the dinner rush. We were greeted right away. We got to choose our table so we chose a cozy booth. The tables had QR codes to scan for the digital menu. It was cool that you can order straight from the digital menu as well. The WiFi password is also printed above the QR code so that made it even more convenient. We skipped on the appetizer/sides but the popcorn chicken and chicken sandwiches looked very enticing. Next time I'm definitely ordering the popcorn chicken! I chose the house hotpot and my friend ordered the spicy one. Both were very flavorful! The servings were very generous. We both came starving and was pleasantly surprised to see the big pots filled with meat and vegetables. We both opted for a bowl of rice each instead of glass noodles. It was also "happy hour" and we go a choice of green/black/milk tea with our meals. The sweetened iced green tea was the perfect pairing! We raised the mini flag on our table to signal that we wanted more broth and the server came right away to top us off. We both walked away with happy bellies. We'll be back!

so yummy on a gloomy day. i got the thai style pot which was super flavorful and medium is the perfect amount of spice. you get a free tea during certain hours with your food, and the green tea was soo good and sweet. I do think the Chino location is a bit better because they have so many more drink options with toppings but food wise it's about the same! the chicken sandwich was delicious and a must try!

Locates in a big plaza with plenty of parking. We went during a weekday night but tables were filled. They have in store and online waitlist. The single pot comes with a set of toppings and unique broth. I'd say the selection of toppings pairs pretty well with its broth. - Satay Beef Pot: 4.5/5. the broth was spot on, has the signature satay flavor without being overwhelming. Recommended. - Popcorn Chicken pot: 4/5. A safe & solid option if you like popcorn chicken. Otherwise, nothing too special about the broth.

The restaurant has a spacious and elegant interior with high ceilings. We ordered the House Special Pot ($18.95), which was excellent. It included sliced pork, fermented tofu, cabbage, fish balls, meatballs, crab sticks, clams, mushrooms, quail eggs, pork intestine, corn, chives, and more--all in generous portions. You can also choose your preferred spice level. The Japanese Miso Seafood Pot ($22.50) was also very good. It appeared slightly larger than the House Special Pot and is a great option for those who prefer non-spicy food. The Popcorn Chicken ($8) was tasty and well-seasoned. The service was friendly and efficient. They also have a fun promotion: if your table spends over $25, you get to draw a prize ball. We won a free appetizer and chose the Crispy Chicken Fillet, which was excellent! We had a great time enjoying our meal at Pot On Fire Eastvale and look forward to visiting again soon.

They also offer combination on weekdays. Which the combo offers drinks and one appetizer. The food preparation was fairly quick and presentable. It was definitely hot and on fire! Met my friend here for lunch and the idea is similar to the popular boiling point. You order the pot, select spiciness and rice or glass noodles and drink for lunch. They have more drinks and snacks than boiling point though. The pot is huge with great and fresh selection of meat and veggies and ingredients. I like the soup but I think boiling point has better dipping sauces. The sauces here are on a sweet side to me. The staff here is helpful and attentive.

Absolutely loved my experience at this authentic Taiwanese hot pot spot, "Pot on Fire" in Eastvale. The individual hot pot was divine with flavorful broth. First tried this AMAZING Beautiful place while back food, to the service to the ambiance was SPOT ON! Everything was brought to out table hot and fresh, and servers were so on it beautiful asian place recommend for a first date night, or lunch and or dinner time we had their beef and chicken hot pots and also their corn ribs, and some pot stickers also and some calmari it was so so good, I would like to give a SHOUT OUT TO the owner so gracious and humble and so so kind and he knows his food! Overall, a great dining experience if you love Pho and hot pots come check this out in Eastvale inside near the COSTCO and all the amazing other restaurants over in the area! 1 TO 10 i GIVE POT ON FIRE A 9 OUT OF 10 It was literally fire fore sure! Went here with a friend who had won a gift card Staff was super nice and gave us a run down of how ordering works, and what they recommend. Ordered three pots, Beef Satay, Sukiyaki and something else, cheesy. All three pots came quickly and were all very good. The sukiyaki was the favorite of everyone. omg this hotpot place is honestly the best I've had in awhile. I ended up choosing to try this place because I have always liked boiling point in chino hills, but always despise it due to its long waits. I started to like and enjoy the pot on fire in chino but it was too far and came to try this eastvale location. And let me tell you, this is honestly the same if not better than the chino location. The service is better than boiling point by a mile, where the two girl servers were very attentive and always checked up on me and my friends throughout the night. The food came out fairly quick while it was pretty busy and the consistency has always been here. I really enjoy this spot and will be my goto from now on! read more

Food is so bomb here i'm not gonna dilly dally. the owner is really accommodating and a hard worker. he pours the extra broth, and most importantly he is not shy! really helpful. i like the staff here. and the food omg, the black tea is really good. I prefer the green tea, the milk tea is okay... my go-to is the lamb pot. house special pot is fire tho. ambiance is welcoming, spacious. can get a little loud but thats not really worth complaining about in this case read more

We are so glad to find a hotpot spot here in Ontario Ranch. It was our first time here, and we had the Taiwanese beef pot, chicken sandwich, and calamari. First, kudos to the owner for accepting constructive criticism regarding their calamari. The Taiwanese beef pot and chicken sandwich were terrific. The sandwich is simple and tasty, just the way I like it. The Taiwanese beef has a great flavor and enough spice, but it is not overpowering. The ambiance is great and very cozy. Was out looking for a hot pot place with my girlfriend and ended up stumbling onto this place! It is amazing! The Sukoyaki hot pot was great! Came back two days later with my whole family and tried five different pots and all were amazing! The service was also great and it wasn't too busy when we went around 1PM! The food is delicious and was served very quickly . Friendly staff as well. Overall nice seating and more than enough tables to not have to wait on a holiday afternoon . My only concern was that a grown woman used a case of Coke that belonged to the restaurant as a booster seat per say. Once they finished with it , the servers brought the case back behind the cashier area. That's absolutely nasty. Again , we loved our lunch there and the food was delicious . Just avoid drinking the Cokes there since they've been sat on. read more

Myke was an exceptional server who you can tell that loves his job and has great passion for what he does. Foods were yummy as hell, would totally go back. No drink orders, no "we'll be right with you", nothing... I ended up walking up to a server who was about to help another table that was seated after us and said we'd like to order as no one's helped us. After finishing what he was doing, he walked up to our table with an ordering tablet and didn't say a word, just stood there staring at us. He took our order, got it wrong a few times, then FINALLY got our food. Not one server checked in on us the whole meal. Not one server offered the check. Just constant flagging down servers for everything. As I mentioned before, I reached out to management via email to try and bring this up on a professional level, but my multiple emails were left unanswered. This is my third visit to this restaurant, and I'm delighted that a small hot pot place has opened up here in Eastvale. My family and I absolutely love the individual hot pot concept. I've tried pot on fire at other place in Chino before, and while they offer a wider variety of flavors, I find the meat and vegetables here fresher. Moreover, I've had a chance to taste their broth carefully (I suggest everyone do the same when they add the broth), and it's indeed a rich broth simmered to perfection, distinct from others that use seasoning packets only. The staff informed us that they are still in a soft opening period, with more activities planned for the future. I'm eagerly looking forward to them. Pros: There's a wide variety of choices, and they offer children's meals, making it suitable for family outings. The selection of vegetables in the hot pot is generous, and I highly recommend their black and green teas. (comes free during lunch) The interior is nice with a touch f yellow, and we can tell by their advertisement and Instagram account they did a great job on the graphics and designs. Food recommendations: Signature Taiwanese Hot Pot, Chicken Sandwich, and Popcorn Chicken. Cons: The tabletops aren't cleaned thoroughly, so be mindful of that. I've been to this restaurant 5 times already and every time I enjoyed it very much. So far I have tried the Satay beef pot, the Japanese Miso seafood pot, the chicken sandwich with 3 cup basil sauce and chicken sandwich with black pepper sauce. I've had the satay beef pot twice and they are not stingy with the satay sauce. The soup was full of satay flavor and goes well with either rice of glass noodle. The Miso seafood pot was also very good and flavorful. I usually don't go for miso because I think its too bland but this soup was so good that I ate the whole soup. The chicken sandwich came in Taiwanese style bread which is more buttery than the traditional American bread. It had a piece of boneless fried chick and eggs. The chicken sandwich was $9.99 but for $3 more you get fries and a tea. Both the black pepper sauce and the 3 cup basil sauce were very good. I think I will try the Plum General Tso's sauce next time. I also had their takoyaki and popcorn chicken and they are both good. Service was very friendly. The staff was friendly and the owner took the time to ask me if there's anything they can improve on. During our visit, a server came to refill our soup and we politely asked if he could turn the heat up as the fire is running out. He went on to help other tables, and after some time passed, we weren't sure if the request had been missed. We waved to get his attention as a reminder. When he finally came over, instead of responding calmly, he spoke to us in an aggressive and confrontational manner--pointing in our faces and saying, "You guys don't need to tell me multiple times for fire." The reaction felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. What stood out most was the tone and body language. It left us feeling intimidated and wondering whether the interaction would have gone the same way with other customers. Regardless, that is not how anyone should be treated while dining out. Personal favorites include the Thai style and house special for me, and the Taiwanese spicy beef for my husband. Our goal is to try every pot on the menu at least once. The lunch deal with a complimentary drink is a great value, and we've also tried all three sandwiches, with our daughter loving the fish sandwich with black pepper sauce. Unacceptable Service and Rude Management at Pot on Fire - Eastvale** I recently visited Pot on Fire in Eastvale, and my experience was incredibly disappointing. After arriving and waiting for quite some time to be seated, we were denied service without any explanation. To make matters worse, when we addressed our concerns with the manager, their response was not only unhelpful but downright rude. It was shocking to encounter such a lack of professionalism and customer service in a restaurant setting. It's disheartening to see how poorly patrons can be treated. I recently visited Pot on Fire in Eastvale, and I must say, it was a great experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Yang, who was not only friendly but also super accommodating. He made sure we were well taken care of and helped us with the menu, offering great recommendations. The service was quick, and we didn't wait long for food to come out. Right now, they have a deal going on where if you buy a pot, you get a free drink of your choice (green tea, black tea, or milk tea). I opted for the green tea, and it was refreshing and not too sweet. The food itself was good, and everything was super fresh. The portions are generous, and the flavors were on point. Just moved to Eastvale and still getting familiar with the city. Today, my wife and I went to 99 Ranch to buy groceries, then decided to eat at a restaurant nearby in the Plaza. We unexpectedly discovered this hot pot restaurant and tried the Satay beef pot. I must say, it's the most delicious hot pot I've ever had, and the portion size was very generous. The server mentioned that they simmer the broth with bones for at least six hours before using it. The food was fantastic, I ordered the mushroom pot and I was glad that the broth wasn't too salty. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh, especially the vegetables. The servers were very kind and constantly checked in. The atmosphere wasn't lacking either, it had a calming ambience with the experience of a warm hotpot. I came in at around lunch time so it wasn't too packed and the food came out quite fast, the complimentary drink during lunchtime was appreciated.
