First and foremost, the customer service here is absolutely phenomenal. The wait staff are incredibly helpful and willing to get you whatever you may need. Since my family and I were newcomers to hot pot, they even provided helpful tips on how to prepare the food. We adored the desserts, the hot pot, and the hot dishes that were served. We tried the "Happier" menu and sampled both the House Original Marrow Broth and the House Spicy Marrow Broth. Both broths were extremely flavorful and delicious. I consider myself a spice connoisseur, but I found the spicy broth to be quite intense. The next time I visit, I plan to order the House Original Marrow Broth and add my own spices instead. I highly recommend trying the chicken wings and fried rice. Both were a major hit with my family. I will definitely be back. I think we've found our new favorite hot pot spot! :

They made some menu changes between now and my last visit, namely that they slimmed down some of their protein offerings. For example, now for the proteins that are offered in the mid-tier "Happier" price point, you can't get any of the 1 per person wagyu or any of the aged prime lamb either. For the highest tier "Happiest" price point, they removed the beef tongue and black beef tripe choices. The prices did stay the same though. The quality of the meat was still great, and they continue to have hot pot ingredients, hot food, and a variety of soft drinks, teas, and juices at the self-serve stations. Watch out for the thai chili sauce at their sauce bar -- it packs a lot of heat! My party of 5 got charged automatic gratuity. My BIGGEST complaint is that I unfortunately found out that they do not turn up the AC here... like at all. If you're craving hot pot in hot weather, please don't come here. People were literally sweating in the restaurant.

All the finger foods are extra. I guess they used to be in the all you could eat too, but they've changed that. I saw that a lot of people were complaining about how the sauce tasted than it was bland. I can't really know. Say I agree with that because they have sauces and you can add your own garlic and like I said jalapeños so if you think the sauce is bland, then add your own ingredients to make it to your liking. I think that's an easy thing to freaking figure out people just always want to complain about something. I would definitely return to this place cause for 20 bucks. Some places make you feel rushed or can make you feel dumb for not knowing how to order, but not at Hot Point. We really appreciated the walk through and kindness from the staff. The food was delicious, fresh ingredients, when there were ingredients running low, the server quickly refilled. My 4 different broth options with mild, medium, hot spice options. Several veggie options, tofu options, meat and seafood proteins. Variety of noodles and sauces. As a plus they offer free lemon water & sweet tea! They keep the heat in the kitchen, so when you're enjoying soup in the summer time, it's not hot in the restaurant. The music they play is upbeat, was singing along to a lot of the jams. I ordered the wonton noodle soup, and the wontons were delicious with a flavorful broth. The noodles had a great texture and paired perfectly with the soup. We also ordered a couple of side dishes. The fried tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the sliced beef with mala sauce (I believe it was #43) had a nice kick. It was a little spicy, but the numbing mala flavor made it really enjoyable. I also tried the duck noodle soup. The duck was incredibly tender, flavorful, and served in a generous portion. It was another excellent dish. The restaurant was clean, and I noticed they seem to have updated the furniture since my last visit, giving the place a fresher look. There is also plenty of parking, so finding a spot shouldn't be an issue. Overall, this was a satisfying meal with delicious noodles, flavorful soups, and tasty side dishes.
