    Eel over rice
    Abigail C.

Best pot noodle!! The crystal noodle is delicious in their pot noodle soup and the ramen looked very popular among other customers. The eel over rice is also very good!! Always on time delivery and they have a sunny little shop in a strip mall. Pop's Pot Noodle Tea & Cafe is one of the best delivery options on Seamless and Uber Eats. Friendly staff. Good bubble tea. Highly recommend.

I don't often find new comfort food spots to love. I have my tried and trues and it takes some really good food to be added to the list. Enter Pot Pot Noodle! Like I said, this spot is comfort food. Tasty noodle soup and bubble tea = my instant heaven. I've also had their chicken teriyaki over rice which was surprisingly good. The Pot Pot Rice Bowl (minced pork over rice) also surprised me. It's not something I would normally order but was very happy with. The chicken pot noodle with Udon and mild spicy sauce is my go to. And this is now one of those reviews where I'm salivating thinking about the food. Gotta make another visit asap. Prices are great, service is friendly, food is delicious.

Okay for a quick bite and decent comfort food. I got the tonkatsu ramen. The broth was perfectly salty and slightly creamy, while the pork was actually amazing - perfectly tender! The noodles are nothing to write home about though, and the egg is an egg. Honestly, for a couple bucks more though, you can get real ramen with homemade egg noodles. Overall, it's not bad if you're shopping at Atlas mall and you want a quick bite to eat.

    Chicken Gyoza

I ordered here on a whim, while sick and craving ramen. Unfortunately this place was a real let down. The food came packaged nicely, on time and was still warm but the actual taste and flavor left a lot to be desired. The ramen itself was flavorless, the noodles were stuck together and the chicken was tough and chewy. Pork slices were fatty and the egg yolk was raw in the middle. I understand that some quality is sacrificed when getting a delivery but overall the food was inedible. I also ordered chicken gyoza which came burnt, as pictured below . Overall I would not return for a second order of this place.

I loved their takoyaki! It's freshly cooked and delicious. I didn't like their kobe beef it's too thinly sliced beef over lots of rice and cabbage. It's too pale looking and not enough beef proportion. I ordered the bubble tea too and it was good. They just put in too many ice, I would have preferred that they didn't put too many ice on it so I can enjoy the drink more for that steep price of $6! For quick food this is good place to go to. But di t expect much. I'll go back for their takoyaki, skip the beef and and probably the bubble tea on a hot summer night. They're open until 9:30pm from 11am. There's parking but it's like $3 for 2 hours, it's located in regal atlas mall and there are few shops you can go to. Home goods and TJ max and forever 21. Park at the covered area. At least your car doesn't get too hot.

It's so refreshing on a hot summer day! Great service! Best bubble tea in Glendale, NY

Izakaya Fuku in New York offers the kind of dining experience that feels memorable from the very…read morestart. Even before the food arrives, the restaurant leaves a strong impression with its stunning Japanese-inspired interior. The space is beautifully designed, blending warmth and elegance in a way that feels both inviting and refined. From the soft lighting to the natural wood accents and thoughtfully arranged decor, everything about the atmosphere feels intentional. It captures the intimate charm of a traditional izakaya while still feeling modern and stylish, making it a wonderful setting for anything from a casual dinner to a more special night out. The food more than lived up to the beauty of the space. One of the first highlights was the salmon onigiri, a dish that proved how satisfying simplicity can be when it is done well. The rice was soft, fresh, and perfectly formed, holding together without feeling too compact, while the salmon added a savory richness that made each bite feel comforting and flavorful. It was balanced, delicate, and deeply satisfying in a way that made it memorable despite its simplicity. The seared salmon salad was another standout. The salmon itself was beautifully prepared, with a lightly seared exterior that gave it a subtle crispness, while the inside remained tender, buttery, and smooth. That contrast in texture made the dish especially enjoyable. Paired with the freshness of the salad, it felt light and refreshing, yet still substantial enough to feel like more than just a side dish. It was a dish that managed to feel both clean and indulgent at the same time. The grilled squid was particularly impressive and easily one of the most memorable items of the meal. Squid can often be difficult to get right, as it can become rubbery or overly chewy if even slightly overcooked, but that was absolutely not the case here. The texture was spectacular--tender, delicate, and pleasantly springy without any toughness. Each bite had a light smokiness from the grill that added depth, while the squid itself retained its natural sweetness. It was expertly prepared and showcased a level of precision that really stood out. For the main courses, both the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Black Pepper Ramen delivered distinct experiences, each with its own appeal. The Tonkatsu Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a broth that had a rich, velvety texture and a full-bodied depth that coated the palate beautifully. It felt smooth, hearty, and luxurious without being too heavy. The noodles had an ideal texture as well--firm enough to provide a satisfying bite, yet soft enough to soak up the broth and integrate perfectly into the dish. Altogether, it was a bowl that felt warming, balanced, and incredibly comforting. The Black Pepper Ramen, on the other hand, brought a bolder and more assertive flavor profile. The broth had a smooth, glossy texture, and the noodles again had a pleasing chew that gave the dish structure and substance. The black pepper added an unmistakable warmth and aromatic intensity that made the ramen stand out immediately. It was flavorful and memorable, though the pepper was slightly overwhelming at times. A bit less black pepper would have allowed the other flavors in the broth to come through more clearly and created a more balanced bowl. Even so, the ramen was still enjoyable, especially for those who appreciate strong, pepper-forward flavors. Overall, Izakaya Fuku is a restaurant that succeeds on every level. The stunning Japanese interior creates an atmosphere that feels both immersive and elegant, while the food reflects a real attention to detail in both flavor and texture. From the comforting salmon onigiri, to the fresh and beautifully prepared seared salmon salad, to the expertly grilled squid with its exceptional texture, and finally the rich and satisfying ramen dishes, every part of the meal felt carefully executed. It is a place that offers not just excellent food, but a complete dining experience, and it is well worth visiting for anyone looking for standout Japanese cuisine in New York.

We got a variety of dishes to share, starting with the Yakitori platter. For $19.99, you can choose 5 skewers from the a la carte selections (except for the pricier seafood skewers). They were grilled and seasoned well. I really liked the Fried Kaki (aka kaki fry, fried oysters). The breaded oysters were tender, fresh & juicy. We also shared Chicken Yakiudon, Yakiniku Don & Pork Katsu Don. The yakiudon was very good and the katsu was crispy and generously sized. I did not like the sauce on the beef in yakiniku don. The texture tasted strange. I'll try the gyudon next time. There are a lot of restaurants on this block with a variety of ethnic cuisines and I would make Wafuu a regular spot when we come to Forest Hills.

The black cod was absolutely delicious, so tender, cooked to perfection, jam packed with flavor but not tough or mushy. The hirekatsu was another hit - four large pieces, fried to perfection. The pork itself was still moist and juicy. The sashimi?? So fresh and cleaned perfectly! The quality is definitely on par with what I get in the city so the price is absolutely reasonable to me. Lastly their snow crab and avocado roll - also really good! I love how sweet the snow crab was, there also wasn't too much rice on the roll which was appreciated. The prices on the windows are very confusing and more like false advertising for me, the lower prices are for the members which we're not since this is our first time and definitely our last, unless our daughter wants to come here again. So the price is the more expensive one. For me, I prefer straight forward pricing, so this didn't give me good vibes, it's not the money, just the way they advertising and we have to know what we can only have with the price we chose. The restaurant just gives us the specific menu for what we selected to have then we don't have to be denied for what we chose because we selected gold instead of top of the line menu. The place is clean and nice. For $78/per person and only have Australian Wagyu Beef (not really Wagyu) then it's over priced. We did have some premium beef which I liked because of the marble of fat on the beef quite tender and tasty, but only a sampler or whatever they called it. Service with one person is quite inadequate but she's very attentive and pleasant, since she had to run the whole restaurant, sometimes forgets things. The tomato broth was good and everyone liked it. The seafood plate is OK and our sweet shrimps are sweet. Some snow crab legs, jumbo shrimps, fish fillets, nothing to make me go wow. The appetizers tempura is crispy and good. The raw octopus is tasty. The vegetables are fresh and clean. After they denied me the premium beef sampler, I let my daughter to order everything else and I just enjoyed with the family. My daughter seemed to be happy and ate a lot, so I was happy. I've eaten enough shabu, hot pot to know that Australian or American Wagyu are overrated, many of them are tough and chewy, not as tender as normal ribeyes or Brisket that I like. This restaurant Wagyu beef does have marbles of fat in it, so it's tender and not so chewy. So, for the GOLD menu, I don't think it's worth the $78 but for special occasions, it's OK. I just don't like the confusion of many menu, many prices, and not getting my own menu and get denied for something on the menu because I didn't pay enough.
