Not only has the name been changed but the way the chips are cooked has also changed - the chips are way overcooked and not so crispy but hard while at the same time, some parts of the same chip are undercooked and too soft (their chips back then were consistently crispy in the right way, neither overcooked nor undercooked). They have changed their name to Undercover Fries but concepts are still the same as when it was Potato Corner. There are 2 sizes for their fries, regular or large. 6 different seasoning flavors to choose from. Besides fries, they offer chicken bites, tenders, wings, etc. I decided on their wing combo with the loopy fries. I chose sour cream & onion seasoning for the fries. I asked if i can add seasoning on the wings and they said yes. I went with chili bbq. My sister got the regular size tator tots with chili bbq. After I paid and looked at the receipt, I noticed a charge for extra seasoning of $0.46. It wasn't much so I didn' trip about it but at least let me know that there will be an extra charge if I want to add seasoning to the wings. Our order was ready in 10 mins. Not too bad since they were not busy. They just had to pop the frozen food in the fryer and then season them. The portions were huge. I felt that it was way more than how it was when it was Potato Corner. Half of the fries were lumped together. Only half of the wings were coated with the seasoning that I paid extra for. Been wanting to try this spot for a while now. The guy let me sample some of the flavors because I couldn't decide. I tried cheddar and sour cream & onion. The texture of the fries tasted alright, slightly tasted like refried stale fries but I got my fries fix so it wasn't bad. This is definitely no longer Potato Corner - a new sign is up and it's now called "Undercover Fries". While the menu options are somewhat similar and the spot looks about the same, the price is significantly higher and the quality of the food is awful. Service was about the same as before - they're not rude but they don't really care. Onto what we ordered: We ordered the tater tots in a large and actually only ate a quarter. The tots were rancid, oily and tasted like they'd been tossed in something soggy. Which is wild since they're tossed in a dry mix. I could still taste the garlic parm but it was not great. What a wild departure from potato corner's heydays where people would line up and wait as long as necessary for some sweet potato goodness. The lines here are always long, but always manageable. It's located right across the food court and in front of Daiso. It's a stand alone/kiosk type of establishment. I love freshly made and flavorful fries, but sometimes their service can be such a drag. I get their giga size, original fries with cheddar cheese flavor. I can finish this whole thing by myself so I always get our own whenever I'm with the fam. I have tried every flavor they have here and the cheddar ones are my fave. They also have chicken tenders, wings, and poppers so if you wanted a meal you can go for these ones and get yourself a combo. Their service (fries making) can sometimes be so slow that it can get annoying. I have watched one girl that works here take her time scooping and shaking them fries as the crowd gets packed. She was the only one making them when there were 4 other people working inside. I'm not one to complain about service but this one really annoyed me.
