We travel to this mall every Sunday. It became our Sunday family date. My daughter looks forward to it. Our dental and doctors appointment became more manageable, having potato corner as her reward. I hope they're consistently open, but due to pandemic all small business are affected with short staff. read more

The absolutely worse have been waiting for 30 minutes for fries. Everyone who was behind us got their order before we did. horrible customer service Attitude from the whole staff very slow and rude. Rolled their eyes and then stared me down when we walked away. Fries were disgusting too much flavor was all powder. read more

Good food. Sucky customer service. Was 1st in line at 11AM and 3 other people got their food first. They failed to say they didn't have fries yet. Took 30+ minutes and the teenagers working the booth don't know how to create a line, talk to the customers or do the basic job or time management. Wish I could say this was the first time it happened, but geez. It's consistent and there's literally 4 workers behind the booth. Please expand or hire people who are capable :( read more

I love their fries but today I was kind of off putted by how they clean the seasoning jars that they shake the fries in. The worker with black and pink hair used her hands to take the seasoning buildup out of a jar and put it in the trash, which was fine. But then she proceeded to turn the jar upside down and bang the opening of the jar against the opening of the trash. So the trash can was literally touching the opening of the jar multiple times. I thought that they were going to put this jar aside and get a new one because it obviously made contact with the trash can, but to my surprise she went on to use it for more food orders! Some might say I'm overreacting but we don't really know what's in that trash can so I think it's fair to be concerned. I understand they have limited space but they should have a tool or better protocol for cleaning out the jars than banging it against the trash can. read more

I was very interested once I heard about this place.. French fries are one of my favorite snacks, especially with different flavors and toppings!! I finally got to check it out after coming across their kiosk (not in a corner by the way haha) inside Roseville Galleria. I ordered a sour cream and onion baked potato with bacon bits and a jumbo (which is their version of a small) size of sour cream and onion curly fries. Once the order came out of my mouth I realized I just sounded like somebody who really loves sour cream and onion....oh well. My order was about $8 for both items. I waited a few minutes and watched them make it. They throw your freshly fried fries into a big container specified for the seasoning you picked. They close it and shake it up and throw it in the cup.. pretty cool but time consuming once the orders backed up. Result? A bit of disappointment. The baked potato's "green onions" were actually straight from a giant container I saw the lady pull out labeled "chives" and they were freeze dried.... And worst of all, there was way too much sour cream. It was like I was eating sour cream and bacon bits. As for the fries, they were good but a little too salty after a while. But the good part is they are definitely coated evenly. I think this place is an awesome spot to grab a snack while you window shop around the mall. It's not a place to grab a baked potato or chicken tenders for lunch. I do love their concept though. If I was in the mall again, I might stop by to try the cinnamon sugar or cheddar seasoning, otherwise I'm good for now. read more

Tried this place out cuz we heard good things about it. We tried out their original fries (garlic parmesan), curly fries(sour cream&onion) , tater tots (cheddar). I loved the tater tots!!! Original fries and curly fries were good too, tho they taste pretty similar. Great place to get some good fries if you got hungry from shopping :) read more

First of all, the service was terrible. The guy, Davidson, he was asian with long hair)) wanted to roll his eyes as he took our order. Where did he get that audacity ??? Then he forgets two of our orders, one he wrote on the receipt and the other he straight forgot. He wrote "coke" on the receipt and didn't give it to us. I never got my fries, service was terrible since he wanted to ROLL his eyes doing a job HE signed up for. It's giving starbucks employees (boycott btw). Yall better get your employee game up cause it's ridiculous. read more

Great place for a snack!!! When you are doing your shopping, the potato corner is a perfect place to stop and get a snack!! If you love French fries or tater tots, this is the perfect place! They have seasoned fries, loop fries, or tater tots! From sour cream and onion, to BBQ, to ranch, to chili BBQ! They make the fries fresh and the seasoning is pretty good... Some better than others... The chili BBQ and ranch are my two favorites. They have sizes from small, to jumbo to mega! Go for the jumbo... That's a good size for yourself or to share! Every bite you take, it will be full of flavor and the fries or tots are always hot out of the fryer! It's a must try if you are in a snacking mood or want to try it as an appetizer before you attack the food court!! read more

It was our first time to check out the Galleria Mall in Roseville. Hubby and I didn't know that there's Potato Corner in Sacramento. The moment we saw it, we had to grab some and it was all worth it! The whole crew are wearing masks and they made sure to keep the place clean. The guy who got our order was also very bubbly! He made us feel at home by speaking our language - Tagalog. Can't go wrong with fries! This is a great spot to satisfy your craving for fried carbs. 3 large sizes to pick from, 5 style of carbs to pick from and 6 flavors to pick from. We had the original garlic and Parmesan fries. It was so tasty and fresh. The flavor was there. I would definitely buy from here again!! The only downfall is the wait. We waited about 15 minutes but it was worth the wait. It's a must go for fries! read more

Why is this place sooo good! Every trip we make to the Roseville mall this is our one stop we have to make. We love their Tater tots and Chile limon combo. And there regular fries are just so good as well. Wait times are variable to how busy they are and they can get pretty busy. Everything is delicious and awesome. We need this in Reno. Maybe its a good thing we don't have it or i would be in trouble haha. Great good walking food for shopping in the mall! Foodie J Umami scale 4.2/5. This is always our first stop when we get to the Galleria Mall. My kids love the bbq seasoned curly fries here. The service could be a little faster, but the fries always come out hot and fresh so my kids don't mind waiting. They have plenty of dry seasonings to choose from and they also sell wings and drinks. For a quick bite at the mall that will satisfy a fry craving, this is it. read more

There aren't enough stars for Potato Corner. I was obsessed with it in the Philippines and I'm even more obsessed here. My favorite flavor is half Cheddar and half BBQ. Lately I started getting both flavors mixed together but I find that most of the time they give more cheddar and not enough BBQ. So I started just getting BBQ by itself. It can get a little too intense in its flavor for some, which is why the cheddar helps mute that a little, but honestly I don't mind at all. I really wish I could but the cheddar and BBQ seasoning because I would put it on EVERYTHING. I always get the GIGA size because it's definitely worth it! I eat the whole thing by myself and have to be talked out getting a second one lol. They are truly addicting in the best way. They also have a loyalty program (FiveStars) and you get a free mega size value ($4.99) after 10 points (5 giga orders or 10 mega), which I always apply to my GIGA order. I live in Davis and I will sometimes drive to Roseville and go to the Galleria Mall just for these fries. It's my favorite part of the mall by far. Getting my go to order just immediately makes my day. read more

The sample stopped me dead in my tracks! As soon as I took a bite of the crunchy tator tot flavored with BBQ and Sour Cream, I was hooked!! I literally made a sharp right and found myself in line. I ordered a small and brought it back to my family. They consumed it so quickly I was in line a second time ordering the largest option they had. YES, it's that good! I'm a huge potato fan and decided to stop by and grab a few bites when I passed by here. After trying out a sample of their sour cream potato chip, I was tempted to order a small order for myself. My hubby insisted we order one of their combos instead which came with garlic Parmesan wings and a side of sour cream fries. Although the sour cream flavored chips were delish, the combo meal was a disappointment. The wings were meatless and the garlic flavoring for whatever reason... just didn't taste right. The fries on the other hand were cold and the garlic parmesan seasoning was mediocre. I'll definitely come back here, but I've learned my lesson to order only the sour cream chips here next time around! read more

I cannot believe what I just witnessed!! The manager was verbally assaulted by customers!! The lady made her order,walked off, and the proceeded to walk off to go shop. When she came back, her order was made and waiting for her for a while. This lady kept claiming she knew the owner. I use to love to come here in the bay and thought I try out this location. I kid you not the worker was eating the fries where they display the fries and put the seasoning on. He thought we couldn't see his face with all the stuff on the shelves but sir we can see you hand reaching out and grabbing a few fries. Disgusting!! Never eating at this location! Why don't we have a location around SF?! Visiting my in laws for the weekend. Had a spontaneous trip to the mall.. I see potato corner right in the front and center of the food court. The concept of just French fries is very intriguing. There's nothing like this around the Bay Area so I had to try it. I am a big big fan of hash browns from mcds. I had to try the tots with cheddar. They do not skimp on sizes!! And WOW the tater tots were hot and delicious. Freshly made. Cooked to perfection... I'm drooling it was so good. The cheddar powder was full of flavor. Kind of reminded me of the powder you get straight out of a kraft mac and cheese box. I also shared a jumbo regular fries with cheddar and sour cream+onion. You can pick two flavors but it will be mixed together. I made a really good decision mixing cheddar and sour cream+onion. Both flavors combined really complimented the fries, no specific heavy flavor. If you do try potato corner, I highly suggest you try both cheddar and sour cream+onion mixed together. Such a good flavor combo! And for the fries, how could you go wrong... fresh and crispy. Yum. I'm a big ranch fan. I asked for ranch from the lady taking my order and she seemed confused. I guess they don't serve ranch at potato corner...? But they totally should! Potato corner has a very simple menu but executes their product perfectly. When I'm in the area I will definitely stop by. The fact that I drive all the way from South Sac for some french fries gives you an idea of how good the fries are. The sour cream and onion flavor is my favorite!!! The chili bbq and garlic parmesan flavors are good also. These fries are the most addicting things ever. They have 3 different sizes to choose from as well as drinks and other items like chicken strips. I took a star off because no matter the day or time they are always busy but there's never any urgency from the workers. They go at a slow pace and just chit chat with each other. Hopefully that improves. I hope one day they open a location at Arden so that it's a little closer. But in the meantime I will take the drive for these fries! read more

Horrible service! Three people looking at phones and not getting food for a lot of people waiting. One of the workers is eating fries while he works, which violates food safety laws. We also found a hair in our food. Something in either the chicken or the barbecue sauce has the aftertaste of vomit. You are honestly better off getting McDonalds. read more

I wish they had this place closer to my home. The vibe here is great. They have K-Drama on 1 TV and K-Pop music videos on the other TV. They even have Korean beers, soju, and other drinks. The service was quick and easy. You simply order at the counter and choose a table. Your food will come out in about 15-20 minutes. I've been to multiple Vons Chicken locations and they are all consistently good.

I placed 2 orders for 3 tenders and fries. I requested to have mine tossed in lemon pepper sauce and my other half got bbq and Buffalo on the side. Both the man taking my order and the girl cooking were so pleasant! It only took about 5 minutes to cook. The man let me know that the Lemon pepper tenders were on the bottom and the sauces (bbq and Buffalo) were inside their own bag. We drove to my friends house to eat (only a few minutes away) and they looked and smelled so delicious! The chicken tenders that were tossed in the lemon pepper sauce were still crunchy! My other halves looked just as delicious, but not as delicious as mine! There were plenty of fries! The taste? I can tell you the Lemon pepper tenders were FIRE!! Very delicious when dipped into bbq sauce. The fries were a fail though. They were soggy. Next time I come here, I will not be getting fries. Kiki's offers fried chicken tenders Ala carte!!

All the same, I followed her advice and ordered the two most popular flavors. Admittedly, I'll be comparing these to the Wingstop flavors, as, to date, I think they have the best flavors of any chain (including BWW). The Buzz wings (Buffalo) are about as mild as you can get. That said, they have a great flavor. I leave this one up to you friends, would you rather have spice or flavor? These are short on spice but big on flavor. The Caribbean Heat are much of the same. I was slightly disappointed because "heat" was in the name but they are quite tasty. I'm not even certain they captured Caribbean flavors, but they are quite good.... think pineapple with a small kick. All in all, they come out great. I'm anxious to try their more intense flavors soon and see how they stack up.

They were very polite over the phone. The didn't have any reservations at 6pm, but they had a table for 4 at 6:30 pm if we didn't mind sitting outside. I took the reservation with the hopes we could get seated earlier. Their outside and inside dining rooms are about the same size. We arrived at 6pm hoping to get seated early and by 6:05pm the entire party was here and we were seated 10 minutes later at 6:15pm. We were seated a the first table out the side door against the wall. This worked great at I was able to put my package on the grown next to the wall, it was out of the way, but I could still see it so I didn't forget it. The fans were on over all the outside tables but ours. It was cool/warm enough to be comfortable in slacks and a T-shirt. No sweater was needed and I wasn't sweating either. The ice water was really nice. Soon as we were seated they laid us out menus. Shortly after chips, salsa, and bean dip were delivered. Then after a little bit the waters arrived. Our server asked for our drink orders while we looked at the menus. I ordered the Chile Relleno: Battered poblano chile stuffed with Jack cheese and red chile pork sitting atop black bean puree and serrano salsa. Topped with slaw and queso cotija. It was very tasty, but lacked cheese. I did not enjoy melty jack cheese oozing out of the pepper and that's the whole reason I ordered this dish. Tower Cafe in Sacramento makes it right. Their Chile oozes with melty jack cheese. The black bean purée must have melded into the Salas as I didn't see or taste it. It was topped with slaw that I enjoyed. It gave the dish a little crunchy. The red chili pork was very tender and I didn't notice any fat. I would not order this again My husband had the Salmon Machamantel Atlantic salmon, mole manchamantel, grilled broccolini, jicama slaw. I found the salmon to be very pleasant. It didn't taste fishy at all and I'm very sensitive to fish. The Mole sauce was non descriptive. The broccolini was cooked to perfection, not too cooked that it was limp and not undercooked so it's too firm. He would order it again. Cilantro Rice- All the meals came with the rice and it was very tasty. It was kind of odd that it was on a separate plate, but it made sense as there wan't room on our dinner plates. Presentation was lacking. We shared the Caesar Salad. It was very tasty, but awkward to eat as the pieces of lettuce were huge. They served us the entire leaf. Bathrooms- It was a small bathroom with only two stalls. If you need to wait it would be better to wait outside like I did. It was a bit awkward. The bathroom was well supplied and pretty clean. Flushing is an issue. The toilet doesn't have a lot of flushing power and it took my 3 flushes to get the seat covers to go down and not leave debris. Parking: We parked near Pet Food Express, which was close to the restaurant. It looked tight, but after we drove around we found lots of spots at the back of the lot. There is no close parking spots so if you have a hard time walking this can be an issue. Their downfall, the flies. There were so many flies swarming us that it was uncomfortable. I hope the other patrons were't dealing with the gigantic flies that were swarming our table and landing on our table and food. I searched other reviews and I'm not the only one who was swarmed by flies. Ambiance. It was ok, the music was loud and it was hard to hear each other as we chatted and caught up. I think there is more ambiance inside with the decor.
