I've been here a couple of times now. It's convenient for UW Bothell/Cascadia CC students because it's near the campus. If you're looking for a quick and filling lunch, this is a nice spot to go to. The parking is quite narrow and gets very busy and annoying to deal with so I would just keep that in mind, especially during busy meal times. They also have a 90 minutes limit. The place itself is open and spacious with adequate amount of seating. The layout is straightforward with their system on where to line up, order, pay, and get seated. There's WiFi here for students who want a place to do hw as well. There's a table in the back corner that's perfect for studying. I've tried a couple of sandwiches before and I remember enjoying those a lot. However, with my recent visit, I was kind of disappointed. I did the Pick a Pair deal and chose the broccoli cheddar soup and make your own mac (I chose to have it with bacon and hot peppers). Both tasted like they weren't made very fresh and some ingredients were either too bland or too overpowering. Next time, I'll try to opt for a sandwich again. Service here is ok. They're are 4 people there but the person makimg the online orders just makes the sandwiches and then sets them down and doesn't do anything for with them and no one else hands them out. The girl at the register was more than capable of putting them together and handing them out but she was too busy standing at the register waiting for the people who came in to order to pay instead of multi tasking and getting her job done. Then she gave me attitude when I had to go ask for my order and saw it was just sitting there. This is the 2nd time I've waited for 45 min for a sandwich that I made time to be ready for. Whoa, whoa, whoa. So bad. This is mostly a review for the service. Sandwich had potential but it was made wrong and completely soggy/saturated with too much dressing by the time it did materialize. Okay, so it's the height of global pandemic and we're all getting used to and figuring out best practices for to-go orders. I get it! I'm patient! But their system needs to be reworked in basically every way. Potbelly touts this "no contact" and safe to-go system but when you call to place an order or to pick up your sandwich, they ask you to come inside. When you get inside, there's no clear "social distance" markings for people waiting to pick up their orders, and they are still allowing people to use the soda fountain and get their own utensils. That's a lot of unnecessary hands and touching and contact, and to be honest, the opposite of what I've seen other restaurants do. A few things that were extra frustrating: I ordered online for a specific pick up time, it was not ready at that time, so I waited but as other people walked in to place their order in the store, they were getting food first. There was 5 people working, and I was asked repeatedly what order I was waiting for. We waited for nearly 20mins after our scheduled order pickup time before we got our food. The staff seemed new... and several appeared to be stoned. They were just kind of walking around bumping into one another and moving tickets and asking the same questions over and over but no one seemed to actually be making sandwiches or taking orders or payment. It was a total shit show to witness. By the time I got my sandwich and soup, the soup was cold, sandwich was soggy and was missing ingredients and they didn't include any napkins or utensils. It took nearly 45mins to get my food after placing my order online directly outside the restaurant in the parking lot. Woof. Absolutely terrible. Don't go here unless you have time to kill and desire a mediocre sandwich! read more

Having been deprived of deli meat for months whilst pregnant I finally gave in and decided to have a appropriate amount of HEATED deli meat. I would like to introduce all of my pregnant friends to "the wreck." If you're going to indulge, just go for it. This monster sandwich has turkey, ham, roast beef, and salami. No need to decide between meats just combine them all. With some lettuce, mayo, mustard, hot peppers (a must) and tomatoes this humble sandwich will satisfy all your cravings in one go. I noticed the sandwich had quite a bit of oil dripping from it as I ate, I imagine from the peppers which made for a messy but absolutely glorious sandwich experience. I opted for the "skinny" which was about the size of a 5-6 in sub and was plenty to sooth my deli meat woes without making me feel too bad about consuming too much cold cuts. read more

The online order is very misleading because you have to customize the toppings and the giant photo representing the sandwich appears to be the standard sandwich but that is not the case. Also I would highly recommend to always add Mayo to your sandwich because it tends to be on the dry side. Other than that it's okay. read more

Three stars because the ingredients are good and they don't skimp. Other than that, ordering from them is a shit show. I tried using their app for the curbside pick up and it was just a maze of lies. I tried to call to put in an order and the person who answered the phone said just to come in and order. I did and then had to repeat my order to the person who puts the lettuce in the bowl, then again to the person who puts the toppings in the bowl, and finally to the cashier. i just got a sandwich there today, 10/22/22. got about halfway through it before i looked down and saw two very long hairs in the wrapping paper (see pics), probably belonging to the dude with the super long hair who put together the sandwich. i got there and was the only one in the store except for 4 employees, all young stoner guys, all behind the counter, just hanging out and two of them were watching youtube on a phone propped up on a shelf. eventually- you know, when they got around to it- one of them took my order. there was a lot of "bruh" and "bro" getting tossed around. i've left a review before about you guys messing up my order so inexcusably bad (i had ordered a turkey club back in the turkey club days and when i picked up my sandwich and took it home, it was literally just tomato, lettuce, and cheddar cheese on bread, check the pic) and came here out of desperation today. who runs this place? it's so consistently trash. read more

Today was the first and last time we went to Potbelly. We drove there to get our takeout order and it wasn't ready when it was supposed to be, the lobby was so busy but when people walked in none of the employees acknowledged any of the customers, we ended up waiting quite a while for our food. Then we got all the way back to the hotel and found that they didn't give us the whole order. Now they're closed and not answering their phone and we don't have our food. We can't even review the salads that we bought because they didn't include any dressing. read more

Not a bad spot for lunch. They have a lot of tasty options. I usually get the Uptown salad with the house dressing, potbelly vinaigrette. I add avocado and that definitely makes the salad. (All-natural grilled chicken breast, crumbled blue cheese, red grapes, apples, dried cranberries, candied walnuts and diced red onion on a bed of fresh romaine, iceberg and spinach) I also sometimes get their loaded baked potato soup when they have it. But if you're looking for a treat, I definitely say get the sugar cookie. It's definitely the way to go! It's super soft and big enough to share. This place is fast service if you need it. It's a 5 min drive from my work and I can get there in back within 15mins or less sometimes. Plenty of parking below in the garage. Sometimes you can think there's no parking especially with the Starbucks right there, but just go below. read more

We love Potbelly sandwiches and appreciate having this location near us. We have never had any problems here and the staff have always been helpful & nice. However, my 4 stars comes from noticing whether pre or current Covid-19 it never seems to be very clean. The dining area often has dirty tables and trash around. Its not terrible but it could be cleaned more often and more thorough to make it a more welcoming environment to eat. This wont stop us in any way I just think they could step up their game a bit. The other thing I have noticed over time is they often seem either understaffed or busier than staff can handle. And, I think that is why the cleanliness of the dining area has been noticeable. This was also pre & current Covid-19 era. All that to say I think overall they are doing a great job and make great food. I highly recommend you come to Potbelly if you have never had one of their sandwiches. Oh yeah, don't forget to add their peppers on your sandwich. read more

Definitly one of the better fast food sub shops but it didn't seem like there were a lot of good vegetarian and vegan options. The ingredients are nice and fresh and the sauces are well made. In terms of quality, it is above jimmy johns, subway, Quiznos and a few others, but jimmy johns still feels like more bang for your buck. I come to this potbelly pretty often, like 4-5 times a week. It's got some pretty great sandwiches, but the customer service is less than subpar. The other day I went in to buy some sandwiches and a fountain drink. After I paid and was filling my soda, one of the people working (lady with glasses and green and brown hair) asked me if I paid. I said yes and continued to pour my soda. Then she asked me again. I had to stop what I was doing, take out my wallet and show her the receipt before she let me continue to pour my soda. Her coworker who rang me up was standing next to her the whole time and didn't say a word. I totally understand asking someone if they paid, but I'm in here SO often and I've never not paid or given them any trouble so I really was confused as to why she kept badgering me about paying. This Potbelly is OK, not awesome, but OK. It's part of a national chain and it maintains the chain standard, mostly. When they've been busy, and given their proximity to the college that seems to happen frequently, they can run out of ingredients and the place can look a bit dirty as the staff struggles to keep up with the traffic. read more

Everything went seamless. Six sandwiches made right, 6x chips and 6x chocolate chip cookies. We are the cookies warmed up for 15 secs at home with a scoop of Icecream. Tasted delish. The cookie is pretty big though. The sandwich bread was fresh. Their avocados are fresh, cut in front of you. It's not avocado-mush that you see in some other places. I'm a fan of their hot pickles. I would day that this is a pretty decent sandwich shop, especially on the value end. You won't find mind-blowing sandwiches here, but they're pretty tasty and definitely reasonably priced. I ordered an Italian sub on whole grain for about $7.50, and it was an entire meal. That's pretty difficult to find in Bothell, for sure! The meats were of high quality, as were the veggies, sauces, oils, etc. The whole grain I would say is especially tasty. Later on I tried their white bread, which tasted exactly how you think it would. I would recommend their whole grain in basically every circumstance, it's outstanding. The ambience of the place is a fast-flow sandwich shop, which definitely fits the UW Bothell area. Very clean, very warm inside, overall pleasant. If you're in the area and want a good sandwich, I don't know where else you'd go! This place is great. That being said, nothing really stood out about Potbelly, so I have to give them a 4-star rating. read more

They didn't greet us at all as we walked in. They stood around as if they hated their jobs & every time we asked a question, the guy would be rude about it. LIKE OK, I'm just trying to get some veggies on my sandwich, RELAX. As the guy & another girl rang us up, she yelled loudly did they pay for this!? Look at the screen or receipt you idiot. We ordered two of their "Powerhouse" salads, where the photo shows a mound of hummus and packed with lots of other fresh looking ingredients. The salads we received looked nothing like the photo! I ordered through UberEats. The sandwich is fine, but the Chicken Pot Pie soup has obviously been reused a few times, and they are possibly just scraping the soup back in to a new batch every time. It tastes so sour and off, the color is all wrong, what the industry would call "broken". I ordered the 'Meatball Sub' and 'Mac & Cheese'. They were so good! Extremely yummy, and very fresh. I love the atmosphere, it's a very 'manly' place and I love that about it! Their prices are a little pricey but honestly, quite worth it! I've been there about 3 times already and each time I bring more friends haha! I wish I checked the reviews here especially from 2021. I ordered 2 sandwiches and it was my first time as my son suggested it. I got the Mediterranean chicken and it was cold, few pieces of chicken, no cucumbers and didn't taste great at all. I called and spoke to the manager and non chalantly she said sorry we were busy. Nothing else was done or offered. The cold half an apology doesn't really work in these days. If you want to keep your customers, you need to provide an excellent service. I wasn't looking for a different sandwich to compensate me but at least offer some sincere apology not just oh I did cross out the cucumbers on the bag. Really???!! Short story, I don't recommend this store, better to eat at Subway or JJ's for the same price. I am not coming back, that's it. Good solid toasted sandwiches. I came during the lunch rush and the girls working got everyone through quickly. They have the zappos brand potato chips, which if you're my boss is a pretty god damn big deal. The hot peppers are actually surprisingly hot.
