I wish I checked the reviews here especially from 2021. I ordered 2 sandwiches and it was my first time as my son suggested it. I got the Mediterranean chicken and it was cold, few pieces of chicken, no cucumbers and didn't taste great at all. I called and spoke to the manager and non chalantly she said sorry we were busy. Nothing else was done or offered. The cold half an apology doesn't really work in these days. If you want to keep your customers, you need to provide an excellent service. I wasn't looking for a different sandwich to compensate me but at least offer some sincere apology not just oh I did cross out the cucumbers on the bag. Really???!! Short story, I don't recommend this store, better to eat at Subway or JJ's for the same price. I am not coming back, that's it. Today I tried having an order delivered to a local tire shop. I placed the order online and received a confirmation. I called the store to confirm the order had been placed and would arrive around 11:30 the latest. Unfortunately almost 10 minutes later I received a call from Pot Belly stating that we were 6 miles away, more than the allotted 3 miles. Being in the customer service industry, I was expecting a, we're sorry, we can only do it this one time, since we had an error. No, I was told no. They would not be able to fulfill the order, and maybe we should try calling another store. Mind you, this is before the store opening. I'm assuming the odds of be getting someone of the phone 20 minutes before Redmond opened were slim. This was just unacceptable to me. I asked for her to call and see if it was possible to have Redmond deliver, as I no longer trust ordering through the website. Redmond appears to be 4 miles away, however they have a big order and can't fulfill ours. No exceptions. The resolution? To call another sandwich shop and spend our money else where. We have ordered many of times for meetings in the past from Potbelly. Unfortunately the error that was caused today has me rethinking future lunch plans. I asked for a Corp. Number to contact about the issue and was told "we don't have one, try online". I understand that "IT" errors happen. Absolutely horrific service including a poor hygiene location. I live across the street from this location and once every month or so I'll order a sandwich for lunch online. The past two times, I placed my order for (1) sandwich, arrived at the location and had to wait an additional 35 minutes on top of the 15 minutes promised ready time. The employees aren't trained. Every time I go in I watch (1) employee just stare at the order to go tickets hanging up. The girl will then proceed to ask patrons waiting for online orders their names; she then goes back and stares at the receipts hanging up for another 10 minutes. I feel as if the poor girl has a severe attention deficit disorder and probably shouldn't be working in the fast pace food service industry. This location is filthy (and it's gotten worse during Covid)- which should be the opposite. I'm usually unlucky enough to stand on the side of the counter (opposite side of the tall counter that hides the uncleanliness of this Beardslee location). Why am I standing there?? Waiting gor my food of course. Here is what I witnessed. Swarms of flies around the lunch meat food sandwich prep area and inside the restaurant, employees placing sandwiches (in progress) on filthy counters, room temperature mayonnaise based salad dressing, and employees handling food without gloves (switching back and forth between handling food and ringing people up). Soup station is disgusting . I've seen soup serving spoons placed on top of dirty counters and then put back into other soup serving stations (e.g. chili mixed with Broccoli Cheddar). The most deplorable area is the milk shake station - I've seen staff storing personal items (smoothies or soda machine beverages with their straws inserted) inside the top flip freezer with all the drums of ice cream. I've seen blender lids and ice cream scoopers dropped on the ground and simply rinsed for 2 seconds, and cross contamination of room temp dairy spoons left out on the dirty counter and then reused to scoop ice cream. We've twice placed orders where they forgot sandwiches, and most recently they didn't place any hummus on any of the two Powerhouse salads we ordered. I called in my order with my coworker 30 mins before my pick up time , so we get to restaurant and told the cashier that we called and placed an order. They just stood their looking confused. Our food wasn't even made. so we're waiting for our food to made 10 mins. I honestly recieved the absolute best customer service here. I went there yesterday and one of my sandwiches was wrong. I wrote them about it because by the time I noticed, they were already closed. I recieved a call today from Lindsey wanting to make it right by sending me lunch for tomorrow for free. I rarely feel like businesses take the time to go out of their way for customers but this is exactly what they did today. It was much appreciated. If you are ever in downtown bothell for any reason, go here! It's the same menu style as Panera but the food is made with better quality ingredients. All of the sandwiches are toasted which makes them 10x better than any other sandwhich chain. The tuna is really good if you like tuna melts. read more

I really like Potbelly, but this location has one big down side. Parking sucks. The main outside lot is always full. The garage is not really truck friendly and is usually full. Also it's impossible to turn around and get to the lower garage. They really need a better location. I have gone there many times just to give up and go somewhere else. Great food; mediocre service. To be more specific, the African American lady who usually wears the bandana is very condescending and rude. Not sure if she is a manager(I'd hope not) but she always makes you feel guilty for coming and as if your are inconveniencing her by having her prepare your sandwich. Been here 3-4 times and each time it is very underwhelming (unsatisfying to be honest). My husband and I brought a guest here because she hasn't eaten at a Potbelly for 7 years since she used to live in Texas--she was very excited. However by the end of the meal the only thing that was good was the shake. Her sandwich has no (or badly applied) mayo, she said she felt like she was just chewing dry bread. She felt bad for asking us to take her there and said it was better in her memory and promised she would never go back (pretty bad resolution for a business). My issue with it is their menu is TOO meat heavy, they should offer a basic club with no meat but lots of tasty veggies and cheese and sauces (just a suggestion). My second issue is I asked for avocado to be added and I think they upcharged me but didn't add it (I don't mind paying for it but don't forget to put it in). The Mayo is badly distributed in the sandwich. 80% of bites are dry and 20% are soaked. Also they don't have salt and pepper .....?? I've asked them every time for some (that's such a simple way to make a sandwich tasty) and they only have Italian seasoning....? I don't want Italian I HATE Italian. Why not have salt and pepper packets at least? Ugh. We went on a Saturday at lunch time and it was empty so I guess people are choosing other places for lunch, all 3 of us left extremely unimpressed and unsatisfied. I really want to like this place but it just falls short every time. I think subway is better and I don't think subway is particularly amazing but at least they have salt and pepper and cucumber and other veggie options. read more

I went during their soft opening which they offered a sandwich, soda, and chips for a $5 donation to MS. That in itself gets an extra star. The inside of the shop is very comfortable and they do have some old Bothell City photos on the wall that they got on loan from the Bothell Historical Society. It's great to see a restaurant be aware of the local residents. There's plenty of chairs and tables inside as well as plenty of outside seating. Parking is plentiful now, but they are the only shop that's open right now with plenty of other empty shops. I suspect that parking may become limited in the near future. The food is good, real good. I ordered the "A Wreck" sandwich. It was very good. Good portion of meat. Could have used a little more lettuce. The hot peppers were very good. Crisp, unlike the other sandwich places. Customer service on that day was great. They are helpful with customers who haven't been there before like me. Now, there's several sandwich shops in the immediate area. And I'm talking about the fast food sandwich only shops like Potbelly is. This one is the best of the bunch. There's also several restaurants and deli's around that sell sandwiches that would put any of these sandwich shops to shame, including Potbelly. However, those are different types of places and different experiences so no need to really compare. This is a welcome addition to the Bothell area. There's so many good places around that there's no reason to go to Kirkland, Bellevue, or other places. If you are craving a quick sandwich, give it a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

This is now a regular stop on our eating out playlist. The staff is always friendly and super fast with making our order. I'm the vegan in the fam so my options are typically limited...but my go-to here is the Mediterranean --sans feta sans chicken on regular bread (tried the flatbread twice but not their fault it's impossible to get much in the way of veggie add ons with the flatbread and the add ons are the bomb). The Mr has tried salads and sandwiches and so far likes the Wreck customized best of all. I'm taking one star off because he tried one of the salads with chicken and didn't like it. Said the chicken tasted so bland like it had been reheated in water or boiled in water and was not that good. I can't speak to that but those are his additions to this review. Good sandwiches but management lacks! Placed a catering order for a lunch meeting for today. Food came on time but they forgot to close the pickle containers so needless to say, the office now smells like pickles! Pickle juice went everywhere! Also, when I placed the order, the website did not allow you to change the amount of the tip for the driver. You are charged a $15.00 delivery fee plus they add a mandatory tip that you cannot modify on your order. I always leave a tip but I don't like the fact that you cannot change it, higher or lower. When I called the store to let the manager know about the mess the open container caused, she was rude and was unapologetic. When I asked about the tip issue, she answered me like I was ignorant and said she had no control over it. I have never had a manager care less about a customer taking the time to provide feedback, ever. She was dismissive and acted as though she couldn't be bothered. Too bad - they do make good sandwiches but there are so many other options out there and a lot less expensive too. I think this will be the last time I order from Potbelly. read more

Great location, great food! I have been waiting months for this place to open, and was finally able to try it yesterday at their soft opening. Bothell is in dire need of great restaurants, so when I heard potbelly was coming a feeling of relief filled my soul haha. I had the chicken salad sandwich and an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. I love their sandwiches, they are tasty, hearty and can easily make them as healthy or not. Try the wreck for the not so healthy or the the TKY with extra turkey for a healthy option. The key is to get all the additional toppings (ez on the mayo!). Think about the cost as well, I think they are reasonably priced in comparison to Jersey Mikes or Quiznos. read more

Very poor service and food is mediocre. I've gone here about 5 times and every time I see the employees being rude to customers. They also consistently rush you to tell them what you want then they ask you again 3 more times what you want. Or they just do the opposite of what you said because they evidently weren't listening.
