Food is consistently good. Staff is extremely friendly, fast and professional. Ambiance is nice and restaurant is always clean.

I absolutely love potbelly but this location has failed us TWICE. On one occasion my wife ordered the chicken pot pie soup and it immediately had the most sour stench upon opening. Clear indication that something had gone bad. Second instance we ordered the baked potato soup and although it didn't have an immediate stench, the soup had a very noticeable sour taste. Another clear indicator that something just isn't right. I've never had issues with the Preston/forest location. This location on midway either needs to be inspected or the staff is just completely negligent when it comes to freshness. 0/10 recommend. Stay AWAY from this location. read more

Way cool enough to have let me in after hours when I had to pee & Chipotle, open next door where I'd paid good money for a large mobile order, wouldn't let me use THEIR restrooms because they were cleaning the restrooms, and dismissed me to try Potbelly. OMG. I sent my husband for tuna sandwiches and they are inedible! Who thought putting tons of jalapeños on tuna was a standard addition? Don't you ASK what the patrons want? Never ordered a pizza where they didn't confirm jalapeños.......but tuna? Worst ever and a waste of hard earned money. read more

I don't like being lied to. The phone tree message says you can order over the phone, but when you try to do so, the guy says the GM won't allow them to take orders over the phone. Super sketchy. So, you have to order on line and then wait in the parking lot for twenty minutes and then by the time it says your sandwich is ready, it's cold. The whole process is just poorly done. Always a good choice. They are able to feed my daughter as well with several vegetarian options. I went with my favorite, the Italian with hot peppers on the side as they tend to put to many on when ordered and it covers up the flavor of the sandwich. Quick and friendly staff. read more

Ordered a skinny BLTA for my daughter. Comes in half bread with a half slice bacon, little shredded lettuce, a sliver of tomato that looks like someone's leftovers and NO AVOCADO. Sad that you need to open your sandwich and look inside before you leave to make sure your order is correct. read more

I've been going to this location for nearly 4 years during lunchtime, and my experiences have always been positive. The staff, of course, know my face and even the manager has remembered my name. Food has always been great but over the past few months, I've noticed that some of the produce isn't always fresh--especially the onions--they're sometimes translucent and smell spoiled, so I have to remove them from my sandwich. Perhaps an inspection prior to placing in the serving bins would be beneficial. Otherwise...5 stars!! read more

The worst customer service. I called to ask if I could come in the store to place an order and they said yes as long as I was wearing a mask (which I intended on doing anyway) but it would be easier if I placed the order online. I came in to place my order and a very rude girl (who refused to give me her name btw) told me that for future reference it would be better to place an online order. I explained to her that I just called and that I also did not have my card on me, only cash. She then asked what car I was in and I told her that I didn't park in the front since I hadn't placed my order yet. She asked me to sit outside in the rain/drizzle and wait for my order. Great sandwich but worst service of any sandwich shop. Nobody was in line and it took 10 minutes to get our sandwiches and pay. This is just me and my family of 4. The store experience was great the employees were professional and amazing. The food was as good as always. I ordered through the potbelly app wow. There was a glitch and I was charged over 5 times different prices almost $50 plus the stores phone number was listed incorrectly so I couldn't cancel my order I had to drive in the rain to speak to someone directly. Three stars because of how they took care of my problem. A coworker ordered us some sandwiches today and mine had hair baked into the bread. Absolutely revolting and I didn't bother eating even a single bite. But the management took care of the problem and refunded my money to me. I've used the mobile app order here twice and on both occasions they have failed to have my sandwich ready at the promised time. Today, the started making my sandwich ten minutes after I arrived at the prescribed time and checked in with the cashier. They did proceed to make sandwiches for about a dozen other people instead of making mine. As a frequent customer, far too many times they are out of an item on the menu. Tonight I tried ordering a shake but was told they were out of Ice Cream, truck would be there tomorrow. Twice in the last month I tried ordering a meatball sandwich but they were out of meatballs.. It seems if you visit the Shop after 7:00PM they are "out" of something. I believe it's because they clean in advance and the inconvenience of having to clean twice is the real reason. read more

Place was empty when we got there, and there were only 2 emplyees working. So, when a couple more customers came in, they took for ever to get our order. The place look filthy and disorganized, for being a relatively brand new building. The salads we got did not have the same ingredients showing on menu. And to top it off, my kid's tuna sandwich had a facial hair! I don't recall employees being the least regretful or apologetic about the hair. Got a refund for part of the order. Ate here a couple of days ago. Got there before the restaurant opened. Walked in and all of the tables were dirty and there was food all over the floor. How is a restaurant so dirty when they just opened? Pretty obvious they hadn't cleaned the restaurant from the night before. The man taking orders acted like he didn't know what he was doing. Went in to use the restroom before we left and there was toilet paper all over the floor and the very tall waste paper basket was overflowing with paper towels. So, I've been going to this pot belly since it very first opened. I've had pretty good experiences for the most part. Yesterday a group of us ordered food from there and we noticed on the receipt how you can get a free sandwich if you came back within two days and got a sandwich and then the second sandwich of equal or lesser value for free. We thought, since there were so many of us ordering that this would be a good deal. So we got all the orders together and sent one of the girls from my team to go order and pick up the food. We didn't realize this was her first time to go to potbelly. She was really nervous, and states that the gentleman behind the counter was really rude and short with her so she tried to explain to him about the sandwiches in the buy one get one free coupon the guy was really short with her and told her "what kind of sandwich do you want". She stated she gets really nervous and hands him the list of orders. I had used an online app for my order so it had everything according to potbelly specs on the sheet of paper. When she finally got to the end she tried to explain to the guy that there should've been chips and a bag of cookies added to the order the guy did not understand and thought she was talking about the free cookie for completing the survey and through a random cookie in the bag. When she got back to work and brought the food for the team some of the food was Missing and some wrong. She was really upset and stated she would never go to that place again. Not a good luck guys.
