The floor needs to be washed
Edward O.

The sandwiches were good had a couple of TKYs but the floor was dirty it was swept clean but needed a wash badly. Makes you wonder what the food prep area is like.

Chicken Pot Pie Soup

The service was very good. This was our first time here and we got a free large sandwich by downloading and signing up on the app!!! The cashier was really nice and helped guide us through it. I got the pick & pair for $12 total. 9/10 the chicken pot pie soup I really enjoyed how they added the "crust of the pie" very unique from other places, also thick with good flavor. 8/10 Italian original sandwich -1pt bc of how small it is - 1pt because they're could be more toppings Overall ambiance & experience 8.5

After being asked countless times through the years, I finally decided to try one of their milkshakes.

As build-your-own sandwich shops go, Potbelly is one of my favorites. It has a rustic feel that's comfortable and welcoming, and sometimes there's live, acoustic music during lunch. Potbelly meals have more flavor than Subway, more variety than Jimmy John's, and better taste than the toasted sandwiches as Quiznos. (Honestly, I don't care if my sandwich is toasted, but if it's going to be, I like the way Potbelly does it rather than Quiznos.) Besides soups and sandwiches in a variety of sizes and calorie counts, they also have chips, cookies, brownies, and milkshakes. In fact, it's common when ordering your sandwich to be asked if you want one of their milkshakes. I finally decided to do that the last time I visited this place. I really like vanilla milkshakes and I ordered one of theirs to see if it's better than others I've tried. (Right now McDonald's is still my favorite, but I've started a quest to look for another I might like more.) The Potbelly shake tasted like something I could make at home with ice cream and milk. It was good quality stuff, but it didn't have that really strong vanilla taste I get from McDonald's. (It might be that McDonald's puts some strange chemical additive in it that accomplishes that taste, but I don't care. It's all about the flavor.) So if you're looking for a good warm meal and a relaxed place to enjoy it, check out Potbelly. They have enough varieties of salty, sweet and yummy to satisfy most appetites.

FAMILY PACK
Joah K.

Potbelly is definitely my favorite sandwich shop. My all time favorite is the wreck sandwich. Also, all their cookies are so soft and delicious- like how do they bake it to be so magical? Idk. I got the family pack delivered yesterday- 4 sandwiches, 4 chips, and 4 cookies for $19.99?! What a deal!! This is supposedly going on until the end of May! Definitely ordering some more! Aside from them getting the toppings wrong for one of my sandwiches, everything was great as usual. The delivery did come 20 minutes earlier than expected, but since we're all stuck at home with this quarantine, no big deal. Stay safe everyone and order the family pack!

Oreo shake very messy, wrapped with aluminum foil...

This has to be the worst potbelly's I've ever had! I am not happy with my order and I want my full refund! First off, I ordered an Oreo shake, a dozen of mini oatmeal cookies and lays baked chips all through the Ubereats app. I know it was not the drivers fault because the bag was stapled multiple times. So, when I received my order I opened up the package to find no cookies and my Oreo shake looking like this. I had a long day and just wanted a good snack. This is what you have to offer potbelly's in Rolling Meadows?! Who ever is responsible for taking care of my order needs to be let go.

Mushroom Melt Skinnie & Chocolate Shake

Potbelly's is a great lunch spot on work days. Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks this as it gets HECKA busy on work days at noon. The bad thing about coming at noon on a weekday is the line can literally get out the door, nutso. But the good thing, and it's quite a good thing, is they sometimes have music! A man and his guitar playing acoustic music? I could fall over in swooniness right now!!! Sooo....sometimes I come to beat the rush around 11...but...that music! It's worth the wait I would say for a chill and somewhat eventful lunch. I usually go for a Skinny Sandwich, either the Mushroom Melt or the Hammie (Ham & Cheese). Both of which are very good and low in calories so they don't make me feel so bad about ordering a chocolate shake with it! Yep, I'm one of those people...Give me the most fattening thing on the menu and a diet coke please! Every calorie counts right? :D Their chocolate shakes are just fantastic...so thick the way I like them. I just can't pass it up! Some of the employees are super amazing like one I had today working the register, super friendly. Some are too busy chatting to get your order straight, but such is the way of quick places. I'll be back many times I'm sure and one of these days I'll skip the chocolate shake so I can get a smoothie with my friend next door at Jamba Juice!

"Pizza Melt" with stuff i never asked for

I asked for a pizza sub with no meat and no veggies, Ended up with Lettuce tomatos and a pound of meat took me 5 minutes to get all of the stuff i didn't order i would never order from here again and they also asked me many times "no veggies?" "no meat" but still got it wrong 0/10 wouldn't recommend

Chicken salad salad with potbelly vinaigrette
Jessica P.

I come to eat at Potbelly's once in awhile and I'm always pleased with their food and customer service... Food: Chicken Salad Salad --I love this salad....the chicken is soft and tastes different than any other chicken salads I've had...everything in this salad with the house dressing tastes great!! you should try it...:) Sandwiches -- I've tried them in the past.. and they all tastes good. YUM. Portion: Salad/Sandwich--they give you a lot so you can eat it in one sitting (and be content) or in two sittings (if you don't eat a lot).. Atmosphere: great to go with friends and family (kid friendly)...it's like Chiptole, but with sandwiches instead of burritos... :) Customer Service: the staff are typically friendly.. Costs: reasonable --under $10 or more than $10 if you order drinks & chips.. Parking: during busy hours, it might be harder to find parking.. Location: it's near Caribou Coffee and Jamba Juice so it's convenient if you want coffee/tea or smoothies after your meal... you can just walk on over..

This is NOT anything like Subway...;) I'm not hating Subway but this place is better in my opinion. It has that old school deli feel with a good selection. I ordered the Hammie with some good ol fixing. It was tasty and not too small. This location is in a good spot with many corporate offices near by; but the parking lot is not very big. Either way I have never had a problem getting a spot. Coming from NYC I had never heard of this place and I was always driving past them. For all my NYC peeps the closest comparison would be Hale and Hearty.

They decorated it with hanging plants, some art, a fish tank. A slight haze of smoke. Desserts on display. I'd say the finest work of art here are the prepped skewers, waiting to be thrown on their charcoal grill. My gaze was fixed on the meat display as if I was Cookie Monster at Crumbl. I composed myself and took a seat. They have great hot and cold appetizers. They have breakfast! Check out their menu, I've included a pic. Lahmacun is a crunchy brick oven flatbread with ground meat. It feels so light, airy, and crunchy, you could eat the whole thing and later say "..um, I ate the whole thing". We ordered a few King Chef's mixed grill platters. It is a medley of filet morsels, chicken, lamb chops, shawarma, shish kebab, and many other things, along with bulgar and fries. Why are their fries so good? Okay, so I know we're just talking about lemonade, but their house made lemonade is so good. We also loved their tea. We went way overboard on desserts. We just kept pointing at sharable items like John Travolta to the Bee Gees. All of the desserts were delicious. For some reason, the simplest of them, rice pudding, won the dessert battle that day. They have plenty of intriguing items that will lure me back, and I'm looking forward to it!

I decided to try something different for breakfast, and this fit the bill. I opted for the Turkish breakfast, and it was delicious, featuring scrambled eggs, salad, Turkish sausage, cheese, olives, and toast with honey butter. Now THAT was definitely a break from my normal diner fare. Although I never make tea at home, I decided to try their Peach tea. Wow! Next time, I'll bring my family to share this tea with. The interior was clean and unique, the service friendly and professional. The menu surprised me. It's very eclectic between their breakfast and lunch offerings. The interior is big enough, but it was packed when we went even though it was 3 PM. The overall design and decor were really nice. I would describe the restaurant as something in between fast casual and nice sit-down. We ordered a Seoul flame bowl w/ chicken, creamy steak bucatini, and iced latte w/ tiramisu, and a small cappuccino. The Seoul flame bowl was excellent. The rice was cooked nicely, there were some veggies, and a lot of egg. It was somewhat sparse on chicken, but there was enough protein thanks to the egg. The menu had a spice symbol, but it wasn't spicy. My wife enjoyed the stead bucatini, but said it could have used more parmesan. The steak was cooked nicely and was tender and tasty. The pesto was a nice touch. She also enjoyed the iced latte and found that it wasn't overly sweet. The cappuccino was great and they did a nice job with the foam and art. Service was decent. Pricing for the food dishes was on the higher side ($19 for the bowl and $33 for the steak), but the coffee was priced reasonably.

I was treating my parents for my dad's birthday month (My daughter has a lot of activities, lol) and the menu appeared to have something for everyone. The 22 minute drive to Itasca was so worth it! The restaurant, which is open to the public, is on the same property as the Itasca Country Club, which is not open to the public. You go down the stairs, through the developing pizza bar, and to the restaurant. The restaurant space itself is cozy, with beautiful, natural lighting, and lots of seating options. We were asked booth or table and seated right by the picture window with beautiful views of their ice rinks and golf course. The food was above and beyond my expectations! Between the 5 people at the table, I sampled the French Onion soup, Sweet & Spicy Brussels, Bacon Smash Burger, Pot Roast Grilled Cheese, Sweet Tees (Donut Holes), Peanut Butter Smore-o, and Verde Dulce. The soup was not salty as I find some iterations, the brussels had complex flavors with hot honey, bacon, candied pistachios, and crumbled feta. The pot roast grilled cheese was very flavorful, but my boyfriend did state he wished the sandwich had more meat in it. The Sweet Tees donut holes were cooked to perfection without being oily and the jam accompaniment was a perfect texture and level of sweet. The Peanut Butter Smore-o was creamy and decadent with its perfectly ratioed layers of ganache, peanut butter mousse, Oreos, and whipped cream. The Verde Dulce, though, was the delicious classic olive oil cake with pistachio gelato & that throwback of candied pistachios from my appetizer. Even better than the food, our server, Kara, was one of the sweetest, most attentive human beings! She answered all of our questions, refilled our fountain drink and iced tea glasses when they were at 75% without prompting, made sure my dad felt celebrated with a candle, etc. Her teammate who was in charge of clearing our table was also prompt and I appreciate her asking what plates she could take. Overall, it was a beautiful late morning/early afternoon with delicious food and impeccable service. 10/10 recommend!!!
