We are very fortunate in the mid-west to have so many Bibibop Asian Grill locations, a restaurant that really makes eating heathy fun and delicious. I often find it hard to choose other fast casual options because the food here is so colorful, plentiful, tasty, and reasonably priced. Especially with a coupon, it's difficult to find anywhere else that brings this much value for the money spent, with a dizzying array or customization options. Fortunately the food here is delicious as well. Be warned that a single regular bowl can be a challenge to finish in one sitting, especially when you mix in a bowl of miso soup. Protein portions are quite large, definitely on the generous size of a heaping scoop and all the base and mix-ins are layered nicely. I love the freshness of the fruits and vegetables (particularly grilled) they provide here, and am a big fan of the gochujang sauce which is a bit more spicy than most options I've had outside of the Milwaukee Ave restaurants. The service here is quick and friendly. Even with a long line, they get through orders quickly and are helpful with suggestions. I also like how well lit, colorful, and clean the restaurant is throughout. Overall, great for a delicious bowl with lots of customization options and a reasonable price. I have no doubt that more locations will pop up across the entire nation soon!

It was so so. The chicken was a bit tough and white rice a bit dry. I do like the fast casual type custom bowl concept. You order along the counter, pay, then take your food with you. Pineapple and avocado are an upcharge of $1.50. I think the highlight for me was the option to have noodles as the base. Purple rice is available too. I prefer Drop the Bop in Vernon Hills (due to freshness of ingredients and more variety of toppings) or the traditional bibimbop you can get at Korean places like K Bop in Glenview.

I visited a BIBIBOP Asian Grill recently and I was very impressed. BIBIBOP Asian Grill is the Chipotle of Korean food, minus the E coli. You pick your base, protein, sauce at the front, and pay. I ordered a bowl with Korean beef and the flavors of the beef was great. The other ingredients in the bowl was good as well. No kimchi please. Free miso soup as you dine in and the overall vibe of the place is clean, friendly, and speedy.

So many healthy options I love it!!

I love the salmon and really all the protein and the many choices. The customer service is always friendly and accommodating! Manager will make it right if something goes wrong. I will be continuing to POP over to BOP!

Second time at BAG today. I ordered a bowl (about $11) and here are some thoughts... I got 1/2 supergreens and 1/2 white rice for my base, excellent combo! Quite fresh and good taste. I added broccoli for my hot side, very nice add : ) Had a light salty and or buttery flavor. I got corn and sesame kale for my cold sides, both fresh and tasty. I went with chicken the first time and Korean bbq beef on my second trip. Both my wife and I preferred the chicken, she felt the beef was chewy. Overall, I would highly recommend. The portions are not quite as large as Chipotle, but more healthy.

Amazing and healthy food. I've been a handful of times now and have continued to be blown away by the quality and flavor of their food. Service is friendly and eating inside always feels relaxing. BIBIBOP serves fresh, healthy, and customizable Asian-inspired bowls. With an expansive variety of combinations, the flavor possibilities are endless and amazing. Plus, they sell the best chocolate chip cookies!! BIBIBOP is 100% gluten free! Happy BIBIBOP-ing! Eat well. Be well.

I visited BIBIBOP for the first time and was definitely impressed. This was a new location so it was packed! I did a few of the build your own bowls. The beef was a bit sweet for me but my wife loved it. The toppings are all super fresh and definitely tastes healthy eating it. The amount of food you get is definitely worth the price tag of the bowl. Go check it out!

The BIBIBOP Asian Grill in Arlington Heights opened a few months ago. When it first opened, the line was out the door, literally. I decided to wait a little while to go back. I have been to their Vernon Hills location and I wanted to see how it compared. This location is smaller. The seating area is smaller and very tight. There is an outdoor seating option if the weather cooperates. The food is the same high quality that they are known for. All of the ingredients are fresh and are cooked on the premises. I had a coupon and got two bowls. I tried the Korean beef there and took the chicken bowl home. Both were delicious! The staff was friendly. I highly recommend BIBIBOP Asian Grill!

Eat Well, Be Well! So honored and thankful to have been a part of media night at BIBIBOP in Arlington Heights tonight! This was our first ever media event and we were stoked to be a part of a food chain we have grown to love so much! BIBIBOP is 100% gluten free and it's the best healthy choice when you're looking for a place to eat:) we were welcomed by the marketing team as we walked in, both women are so sweet! Then we got to take photos and enjoy a mocktail which the team made for us there was a great presentation explaining what BIBIBOP stands for and how they started, then we all got to enjoy the yummies BIBIBOP has to offer! We post BIBIBOP a lot in our goodie because it truly is such a wonderful place with outstanding quality of food! Stop by this Thursday for the grand opening in Arlington heights!

To clear things up about their dining area, they have 2 small tables outside and 1 small and 2 big tables inside. Small tables - 2 chairs. Big tables - 4 chairs. On weekdays, you don't need to make a reservation. On the weekends due to their limited dine in area, I would recommend a reservation to be safe. You can make a reservation through Google/Yelp or phone call. Parking is easy since it's in a strip mall. There is also a 3% charge if you use plastic. Just a note, I tried looking at their food pictures on their website, but it kind of runs slow. Sometimes it would freeze. I think they need to fix it. I would return here to try other items. I would highly recommend ordering off their Malaysian menu instead of the miscellaneous. Don't order orange chicken or General Tao's chicken. Very cringe because you can get that literally anywhere. Get the Malaysian food because it's hard to find in Illinois. The owner is very sweet and the service is attentive. We ordered lor bak, nasi lemak, Hainanese chicken rice, hokkien mee, and kuih talam. Just a FYI, the portions are very generous. For 2 people, I would recommend ordering 2 dishes. Prices are reasonable for what you get. A pot of tea is $6. -lor bak 5 - I highly recommend this appetizer. It has crispy pork sausage with shrimp fritters, beancurd, and cucumber. It comes with two sauces. Everything was delicious. -nasi lemak 5 - I love the chicken rendang. The meat is very tender and it has a deep flavor. You can taste the spices that went into it. -Hainanese chicken rice 3.5 - I gave Penang Malaysian Cuisine a 4 because the rice was delicious. HD's version, the rice was not as moist and flavorful. The chicken was not bad, it's about the same as Penang's. It could be a bit more succulent without the sauces. -hokkien mee 4 - this won't be as tasty as in Malaysia. I liked the big pieces of shrimp, an adequate amount of sliced pork and hard boiled egg. The broth is still very good. If it's your first time having this, I still recommend it. -kuih talam 5 - I would suggest this if you like pandan. It's not sweet. It has a soft and bouncy texture.

There's a kind of "night out" vibe here, even if you're just grabbing dinner on a random weeknight. The menu is creative, with specialty rolls and fusion-style dishes that feel a little more elevated than your standard lineup. When it's on, it's really on. Service is iffy to be honest. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable, and the whole experience feels polished. Drinks are well-crafted, and the patio (when open) adds a whole extra layer to the experience. That said, this is where the missing fifth star lives. Shakou can be a little inconsistent. Some visits feel like a five-star experience, others land closer to "really good, but not unforgettable." A few dishes might lean a bit too sweet or not quite balance the flavors, and during busier times, things can feel a little rushed or loud. But even with that, it's still an easy recommendation. This is a great spot when you want sushi that feels a little more upscale without going full fine dining. It's stylish, flavorful, and usually delivers a really solid experience. Four stars, comfortably... with just enough flashes of brilliance to make you keep coming back!

We had to stand in the lobby for 5 minutes without much information, while other groups who came in without a reservation after us were seated before us. Furthermore, the reservation was for the "Patio" and while technically we were seated on the "Patio", I would say it was the bottom rung of the patio. Sat at the first table outside the restaurant, underneath the awning with a bird's nest overhead chirping the entire time. Essentially in my opinion, when you make a reservation somewhere, you don't really expect to be seated in probably the worst location they have to offer. Food was pretty decent. We had two bowls basically. Both were okay, like any Sushi style restaurant, prices were a bit high, especially considering their location in the heart of the AH downtown. I would come again, but for a first try it wasn't anything special for sure.

My kids ordered the spider roll, dragon roll and beef udon that came with a california roll. The rolls were a good size and had a good ratio of rice to other ingredients. The pieces of sashimi are good sized with appropriate amount of rice in each piece. The salmon kama is a nice appetizer. It comes out scorching hot and crispy. It can be tricky to eat because of the bones, but worth the work! I really like the design of the booths with the authentic decor resembling Japanese architecture. I don't like that the tables are consistently sticky when we eat there and if we don't get a booth, the tables are wobbly. No matter where we sit, there is always a table with a wobbly leg. The service is always super welcoming and friendly. Our waiter may have been new and still in training because we waited 24 mins from when we asked for the check until it was brought to us. And even then, I had to ask the busboy to remind our server for the check because he kept walking in and out of the room taking other tables' orders and refilling water. Upon realizing the long waiting time, the server was apologetic and still very kind which I appreciated. As we were leaving all the other staff made a point to say thank yous and good byes.
