Absolutely delicious. Though I tip the scales at 235 I'm also 68 years young and half the burger and half the potato discs is all I can down. Well, besides a couple beers. Meh. This place was super over rated. Didn't care for my beer so I asked if I could switch it out, which is fairly standard at any other bar, and the waitress was reluctant. They had 50+ beers on tap! I gave them a star because eventually she let me switch, but it still felt unprofessional and amateur. The food was also just okay. The fries were too thick and everything was just nothing to write home about. Our group had the chicken sandwich (bland and stinky cheese flavored), fish & chips (too oily and no flavor), Thai burger (meh), and poutine. The poutine was the best. This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. Came here looking for a chill, more laid back vibe, cold beers and good food for Jon G.'s birthday. It's a small building on Bryan Ave. They have their own parking lot behind and plenty of street parking. First thing I notice is the more industrial feel, big glass garage doors and reclaimed/upcycled truck front end reused as an awning over the door. Inside is a bit dusty, but dark and cozy, with exposed brick walls, industrial gears and stickers. Really Casual. Lots and lots of draught beer, the occasion called for matching beer flights, so we got to picking. They don't have a set price for flights, the taster size prices are listed on the beer list they hand you, most selections were $3-4 per tasting, making this one of the more expensive beer flights we've had. They did have a really awesome, diverse selection, it took me a minute to finally decide on the four that I wanted! Menu features a bunch of comfort food style cuisine, which is just what we were looking for. I was a bit disappointed to see they didn't have Poutine on the menu anymore. I had read some reviews praising it and I was ready to pull the trigger on some when I got there, hopefully they rotate back into the menu eventually. After some debate, I decided on the Bulgogi Beef Tacos and Jon G. got the Double Bacon Cheeseburger with an added Fried egg. Food took only 10 mins and some change to come out, not too shabby! My tacos were HUGE! I was a little nervous paying so much for only 2 tacos, but those tacos meant business. They were filled to the brim with bulgogi marinated beef and a tangy pink pickled slaw, which gave a lovely acidity to each bite. Jon G.'s burger came out without the egg. To Jon, it wasn't that big of a deal, so long as we weren't charged extra for the non-existent egg. What a pleasant surprise when, what we assumed was the Chef, came out and asked about the missing egg. Jon G.even insisted it wasn't a big deal and the chef refused to hear it, quickly whisking away the plate and returning it with the requested fried egg on top. Not much later, the bartender was talking about the owner and mentioned to us that he was the gentleman who had come to fix the egg situation. It's really cool to see an owner who is involved with his patrons, as well as his staff and kitchen. We had the pleasure of speaking to him again, this time about how much we enjoyed the food. He truly was a really cool, down to earth guy! Overall, the food was delicious, beer selection is fantastic and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Holy best chicken sandwich ever. Don't let the barren neighborhood around the location stop you. This place has great service, a great beer menu, and awesome service. We started with our beers. The list was extensive with a lot of sour options which I appreciated. I started with the POGS and it was delicious. A bit sour with a good wheat taste as well. My boyfriend had the rahr and sons beer on tap. He is not a fancy beer drinker so the options weren't as impressive to him. I also love that you are able to go to their site and see what they have on tap. Its a great feature to know what they are featuring. Now I was not expecting that great of food. It is a bar really and a lot of time that means the food falls to the wayside. As an appetizer we got the PG Corn Poppers. The mix of jalapenos and sweet corn was spot on. They give you about 12 corn poppers so they are most likely better for a larger group. When I go back I want to try the pretzel as well. I had the chicken sandwich which I don't see posted on their website but you must try. The mix of chicken, cheese, and chimichurri sauce was a perfect combination of flavors. Ok first this is a hidden gem!! The bartender, staff and chef made you feel like family. They shared their story of how the place started . I also was so amazed with the chef- Sean. He came out and spoke to me about his passion of cooking. I could tell it was genuine. He really loves working there. I had the tacos and they are really good. Much better than Torchy's. Pouring Glory is my absolute favorite growler station AND they have amazing food on the menu. I have been to Pouring Glory a handful of times and I think it is truly going to be come my favorite Sunday brunch spot. Between delicious food, awesome beers, a killer playlist, and an overall general kickass atmosphere - there is not much more I need. The food is ALWAYS delicious and the creativity they use to create their menu is legit. We got the Huevos Croissant and the Blackened Shrimp/Jerk Chicken Tacos. You NEED to come here just for the Huevos Croissant alone. It is a huge soft pretzel topped with your egg style of choice (we did fried), smoked gouda cheese, two flash fried strips of bacon, and a side of potato hash. The combo of the melted cheese, eggs, bacon, and pretzels is something that comes from a third dimension. The Jerk Chicken tacos are great, but the blackened shrimp really hit it out of the park and they don't skimp on the shrimp. Sarah was our bartender this past visit and she is simply the best! She introduced me to the holybombucha Blood Orange and they do their mimosas with them. I'm not normally a mimosa fan, but this was a great suggestion. I had one of the Blood Orange and one of the Blackberry and both were splendid. She did a great job suggesting beers and letting us sample before committing. They have a well balanced tap list with really good seasonal beverages and great prices. They had just tapped the Mckenzie's Lazy Lemon cider which I think fit perfectly for coming into the summer months. The owner showed up towards the end of our visit and he even came and brought us out some delicious ice cream. He was really friendly and came over to introduce himself over to us. What I love about Pouring Glory is that the bartenders/servers are always helpful and friendly and the food is always made with integrity and creativity. I've been here a few times now. The food is good and great selection of draft beer. However, I just can't go here anymore. On my last visit, I got there and there were three people in the place, two at a table and one at the bar. I sat at the bar. Waitress/bartender didn't even acknowledge me. After about a few minutes the person at the bar left and then another person came in and sat at the bar. The bartender went right over to him and asked for his order by name, so apparently she knew him. Poured his beer and went to the register. Still no acknowledgement of me. Then, two more people came in and she told them to sit anywhere. After a minute she took menus over to them and asked what they would like to drink. Still nothing for me. My wife and I visited Poring Glory today, Saturday, at about 2:00pm. It was an awesome experience. They do not brew heir own beer, but they have about 30 taps.There is something for everyone, if everyone likes beer. We were hungry and wanted to share some bites. we had the Kimchee fries and the Taco Tots. Both were excellent. The bartenders could not have been nicer. They changed the TV to a sport that we asked for, and did so with a smile.It was so nice and relaxing. This is a great place to have a beer and a bite. Came here with one of the bffs for a meal and couple drinks on 4th of July. Was looking for something on the more chill side and this fit the bill! It's kind of hidden, off Rosedale and Hemphill on the medical district of Fort Worth. It's right by our work place so we're quite familiar with the area. They do have a scrubs special on Monday and Tuesday which is good to know! Small brick restaurant with a good amount of tables. Nothing huge, nothing fancy, just a nice quiet ambience of a bar that had that chill atmosphere I was looking for. Ordered a cider which happened to be on special without me realizing it, yay! And then my friend and I both went for burgers. I saw the Gouda burger and knew I couldn't go wrong with it. Maaaaaan was that burger the bomb diggity!!! I LOVE Gouda cheese and it was perfection on this burger! My friend got the Thai style burger and it was crazy! And of course delicious. The owner approached us too and was very kind. They have their own private parking lot that's connected to a little patio area. And as soon as you step inside the building, you immediately notice the laid back and comfortable atmosphere. They have an interesting selection of burgers, but I opted for the seared ahi tacos. The tuna was tender, the slaw had that perfect amount of sweetness, and the toasted sesame seeds brought it all together. The tacos don't come with a side item though, so you might want to consider ordering some extra fries or nachos to go with it. I thought it was pretty cool how they branded all of their burger buns, bread slices, and tortillas with their "PG" logo. I also liked how they tried to do something different with their version of fries, but after trying a couple, I thought they were just a bit too thick-cut for my personal preference. read more

A small space, struggling to show its brow above the surrounding construction, is a neat hidden gem. You need to Uber or take along a designated driver (poor bastard!), because the beer menu is rivaled by few others! I recommend the Founder's Stout and the Fried Bacon Thai Burger. The burger will make you pee your pants and you'll need napkins for more than just the moist knickers! It's juicy! The beer menu, as stated earlier, is quite extensive. It isn't a "beer tour" length, but damn near. My only negative is that they could use a bigger parking lot. It goes one way and is rather narrow. This place is awesome! We stopped in late after a workout for a quick bite and a beer. Great beer selection but it's the food that shines! I had the Korean beef tacos and my love had the Fried Bacon Thai Burger. The Korean Beef tacos were made with high quality ingredients and 2 tacos were just enough for me. Just a side note but a side of Gochujang sauce would have been welcome and although the shredded cabbage was ok, it would have been better as a light slaw. Just preference. (Looking back to the menu, it was actually supposed to have a red wine slaw but did not) Really, for the price ($9.99) they were perfect. Awesome hole in the wall bar that also serves tasty food! They have over 50 beers on tap (no cocktails though). And I was truly impressed with their selection of porters and stouts since I am a big fan of them. I wanted to try them all! Instead, I just decided to sample a few by getting a flight. I was definitely not disappointed! I needed something to soak up the alcohol, so I also ordered their fish and chips. It was a pretty solid meal! The batter was light and crunchy. We've been wanting to try this place for a while, so we were excited to find we were right around the corner one Friday evening. We arrived just after 7. It's much smaller than I had imagined and it wasn't full or loud at all. There are only about 10 tables and a pretty long bar that would seat 20 I suppose. No one was at the bar and half of the tables were full. A little odd for a Friday, but we had just come from a local brewery with the same feel so maybe there was an event happening. We were quickly greeted with menus. The beer menu is large, but not much that excited me. I got the Peticolas Great Scott, which I had never had before. It was a nice, Scotch Ale. I've had Velvet Hammer before, I preferred this over it. We ordered chips and queso as a starter. I appreciate the House made chips and the queso was really nice. For dinner I ordered the Gouda burger that comes with potato rounds, their version of fries. The burger arrived atop two brioche slices (top and bottom of the bun), which I found odd. I was expecting open faced, but not atop two pieces of bread. The brioche was gorgeous. Soft, luxurious and the perfect sweetness. After two bites I slid the burger off though, it seemed pointless. Next time I would have it sans bread. The meat was good and perfectly cooked to order. The Gouda cheese sauce was divine. I could bathe in it! The potato slices... ehhh. I took them home to the dogs. They loved them! They gave 6 paws up! I prefer my "fries" crunch on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. These were neither. The flavor was fine, but when I order a burger I want fries, not potato slices. Slap some Gouda sauce over them and I'd be like "what dogs??" But with my burger, eh. My total (chips & queso, one beer and the burger) was $26.46 before tip. By the time we left at 9:30 the bar was packed and loud, the tables at thinned out considerably. Overall it is a good place. I'm 30 minutes away so I can't say I would move mountains to come back, but when we're in the area visiting our favorite brewery then it will definitely make the rotation! My only complaint (other than the potato rounds) was the use of styrofoam. I know it's cheaper, but it's always worth losing a star over, in my opinion. Better alternatives exist! This is the perfect Friday night chill spot. Good beers and good food makes the perfect combo for this great hangout spot. I was really surprised at the food quality cause I was expecting bar food but this food taste home cooked. I had the Gouda burger which had a hint of jalapeños in it which gave it a perfect kick on the back end of the taste. I stopped here because of the recommendations from other yelpers. I will say this - it is NOT kid friendly, so whoever said it was on their review was incorrect. That being said, it was a nice place and the food was pretty good. I liked that they had veggie options - something you rarely see. The beer choice was great, but the service was really slow. It was one blond lady manning the entire dining room, so we were there forever waiting on basic items and when you're starving, that doesn't help with the hanger. A friend and I went into this place on a whim just looking for a sweet treat and a beer. The funnel cake fries are BOMB... I got my sauce on the side and just the fries in it. Pouring Glory is a true hidden gem of Fort Worth. I was able to try two of their burgers tonight: The Smoked Gouda Burger and the Five Pepper Burger. Both were delicious!! The Gouda Burger comes out open faced (both buns under the patty) with a house made Gouda cheese sauce (almost like a cheese gravy), bacon crumbles and cilantro on top. This was super unique and full of flavor. The cheese sauce can seem heavy after a while, so I would suggest sharing with someone, but it's definitely a must try for all who stop by. The Five pepper Burger was great as well. Surprisingly, the burger was not that spicy in my opinion. The pepper blend and habanero ranch provided a nice kick, but it was not overpowering. The Chimichurri mayo was incredible and brought a nice element of creaminess to the burger. The potato wedges that come with the burgers are fresh and tasty, but lacked salt/seasoning in general. The location is pretty tucked away, but there's a parking lot around back that makes it easy to park. I went late on a Saturday night and it wasn't busy at all. Pretty good visit awhile back. Went on a weekend night. Sat at the bar. Not very big inside, building sits by itself with almost nothing else around it for a block in any direction. That's one of the things about the area, a lot of houses got knocked down back in the old days, so plenty of room to build. I think this place was rebuilt out of a "bunker bar" building. They did a good job, it's nice inside. Good amount of seats on an L shaped bar, and probably around ten or so tables. Fast service, honestly, had little experience with any of what appeared to be thirty or so craft beers on the wall. As seems the norm nowadays, the beer list was heavy with IPA's, and Stouts, not my favorites. I managed to find something, but most of the beers were ones I had no idea about. Started off with an app serving of the beef stew. A little thicker than what I normally see, but I thought it was very good, plenty of beef and some good chunks of potato in there. Ordered the chicken fried bacon Thai cheeseburger. Thought it was really good. Best version of chicken fried bacon I've ever had, crisp, not greasy, and good flavor. Broke it up and stacked it on the burger. The sauce on the burger was good, but I didn't consider it very spicy, so I think anyone worried about it, well, don't, you should be fine. Not a fan of the long slice fried potato's but surprisingly these were pretty good, a few greasy ones here and there, but not a big deal. My tastes on beer is very narrow, but any reasonable beer snob should be happy with the selection. Not a huge menu, but most all of it looks really interesting, and I'm looking forward to going back. When I went it wasn't crowded, but the next weekend I went back around eight pm on a Friday night and there were cars parked up and down the block. It was packed.
