One star. I hired these guys to do the windows at my mom's house a while back. The work itself was... fine. Not great, not terrible. They managed to break a few things on her property (installed 3 windows crooked, and cracked brick outer wall -- and just left it). Shoddy rushed work is typical for an organization like this that sells a job and then staffs it with sub-sub-contractors. But to their credit, they eventually made it right. It only took about four months and a dozen phone calls. The real reason for the one-star review is their sales team. I work nights. I have a clearly visible "No Soliciting" sign. My doorbell is even set to Do Not Disturb, so anyone who rings it gets a polite message asking them not to disturb us. Apparently their salesperson decided the solution was to bypass the doorbell entirely. Boom. Boom. Boom. He didn't knock once. He didn't knock twice. He pounded on my front door three separate times. The first round woke me up. I figured he'd take the hint when nobody answered. By the third round, I got out of bed because I honestly thought the house was on fire or there was some kind of emergency. Nope. Just a door-to-door salesperson who either couldn't read a two-word sign. "No Soliciting" The best part? I replaced all of my windows about two years ago. They're arguably the nicest windows in the neighborhood. If your salesperson can't recognize brand-new windows or identify a house that clearly isn't a prospect, I don't have much confidence in anything else they're telling people. When I asked why he skipped the doorbell and went straight to pounding on the door, his response was, "That's what my supervisor told me to do." If that's true, then this wasn't one overeager salesperson. It was company policy. Ignoring "No Soliciting" signs and bypassing a doorbell set to Do Not Disturb isn't persistence. It's obnoxious. Pounding on someone's door like there's an emergency, especially after nobody answers the first time, is simply disrespectful. I was on the fence about ever using this company again. The Salesman of this company lied to me to push me to install solar system. He said that I would pay 0 dollars for your electricity for your whole life after you install our solar system. I spent $70000 to install by loan , paying $400 loan payments each month only get $9 to $50 dollars off from my electricity bill !!! I am so angry for their dishonest salesman . And also my project last one year and changed more than 6-7 project manager. Every time I called service that they told me different my project manager name who told me I was not his duty to take care me. When I declined he said he couldn't leave the info unless I agreed to a follow up as HE had something I wanted. At that point I said I wasn't interested and he got offended and started questioning and arguing with me. He demanded to know why I wanted info if I was interested. This company will not honor their warranty on work and materials. I had new windows installed eight years ago. The seal failed on one of them and they replaced it without question. Another seal failed, and I was told that the lifetime warranty on materials and labor is has "changed" without my knowledge, and I would need to pay for a replacement. She would not take "no" for an answer, ignored my repeated requests to wrap things up, and even told me she would wait at my dining room table until my husband (who had excused himself to take a shower to escape the presentation) came back. I had to firmly ask her to leave multiple times before she finally left -- it was incredibly stressful and completely unprofessional. No homeowner should feel pressured or trapped in their own home by a salesperson. This experience has ensured that we will never purchase from this company, and we will warn others to avoid them as well. Our roof was replaced with a ventilation system on Friday (11/14/25) & insulation was installed today the following day). POWER, once again, did an incredible job! There were 3 places on our roof where the decking had to be replaced due to prior leaks. 1 we knew of around the chimney flue. The other 2 were leaks that weren't bad enough to show up on our ceiling, but enough to rot the decking. The crew was extremely careful & paid attention to detail. Cleaned everything up & ran a magnetic roller over the entire work area to pick up any nails or metal debris. Since having the gutters, windows & now the roof done, our neighbors have stopped by or texted me saying how nice it all looks. This has been an absolute nightmare! We had scheduled an installation for the 27th and 28th of May for facia, soffit, and gutters. $23,000 to do the whole house. They showed up on the morning of the 27th and proceeded to trash our yard and trample our landscaping. Called right away to get a supervisor out. No one would come out. We sent them the pictures of the damage as they requested. Tried getting a supervisor to call us back. No callback. Finally called their headquarters customer service and have been making calls to them repeatedly for the last 19 days!. Three times they have told us when they would come out and three times they have not showed up and did not notify us they wouldn't be able to come. We have made seven calls to the central customer service. Every time they Tell us that Chad will be contacting us. Chad does not contact us. We tried calling Chad directly. He does not answer his phone. We text Chad he does not reply. When they finally did come out on June 6 we said we needed proof that they had replaced the rotten wood. The crew showed Chad pictures of the lumber they replaced. We saw those pictures. It does not look like 40 foot of lumber that we paid for. It looked like scraps left over from a different job and not 40 foot. Chad reimbursed us for the cost of lumber. Then they.said they were finished, Chad had me sign a bunch of things on my phone. We thought the job was done. That night we noticed they missed the corner of the house. Nothing was up there so we texted Chad. No reply. We called Chad, no reply and then Monday the 8th we got rain. One gutter didn't work. The water was pouring down behind it. One of the downspouts was leaking. The corner of house where they failed to put up any gutters at all, was pouring rain down into the yard. Again we tried contacting Chad. Again they said they would be out the 13th. On the 11th Chad texted to confirm. On the 12th he texted to confirm. On the 13th nobody showed up. We have gotten 11 different people to apologize some of them more than once. We have been told they would be out three different times and all three times they stood us up. That is an outrageous amount of disrespect for Customers. The company claims to be high-end. They charge high-end prices. They do not do high-end installations.At this point we want the job finished, we want it done right, and we believe we are entitled to at least a partial refund of the $22,000 they took. And even though my parents said no multiple times, they stayed at their home for 4 hours. They should be ashamed, preying on people with pressure sales! And it seems this is their norm. Based on the other reviews, I see that this is company policy. At one point he locked eye contact and said "are you messing with me?" It sounded like he wanted to start a fight. Update #1 email sent this morning 25 Nov 2024. I ask that the person monitoring Yelp to please advise company leadership as necessary to help with this. I spoke with several people at Power HRG thus far and I believe more help with approvals may be needed to fix this project. I also have significant reservations about moving forward with my other project with power HRG. Original post-At this time I cannot recommend Power Home Remodeling. I had an attic insulation install yesterday and the installers arrived after the promised arrival time and started the project at 4pm on a Saturday. I felt they were rushing the job as I went into the attic and had to tell them not to staple into the solar panel wires but they did not understand what I was saying. Also, they just threw 2 rolls of vapor barrier sheeting on the air conditioning vent tubes. I also saw them stepping directly on the ceiling drywall instead of stepping on the studs. Now part of my solar panel array is not working. I was told by my sales rep Tommy that someone from Power HRG would be onsite but that was false. I spoke with the Operations Manager Omar about the situation but now it seems I have to make the arrangements to get my solar panels fixed myself. I am willing to adjust this review as necessary when the issues are addressed and corrected. Please message me and I will be happy to provide project number, etc... The sales guy pinned me down to a time when I would be home, then he called his office to have me give my zip code, address and confirm the time I'd agree to... whoa! I do NOT want anyone to come to my house! A salesman did the same thing about a month ago (yes, they are that good at fooling you). Extremely disappointed with my experience. I chose Power Company after comparing multiple window companies, and the ONLY reason I selected them over others was because they offered a window + door package. Every other company had the same window capabilities for less money -- the door was the deciding factor for me. Unfortunately, Power Company failed to measure the door correctly not once, not twice, but THREE separate visits. After all the delays and missed work time I had to rearrange, I was told on installation day that they "can't legally install the door" because of code -- something that should have been verified during the FIRST measurement, or at the very least the second, not on the day of install. Instead of making it right, the manager told me "it's a give and take" and simply removed the door from my contract. They offered nothing for the inconvenience, the lost time, or their repeated mistakes. Meanwhile, I was stuck in a contract I couldn't get out of, but they were allowed to back out of THEIR responsibility with no consequences. To make matters worse, they added a 3% credit card surcharge that was never mentioned or disclosed until installation day. Even after all their errors, they refused to waive the ~$200 fee as a courtesy. I expected professionalism and accountability from a company that charges premium pricing. Instead, I received repeated mistakes, zero transparency, and no willingness to fix the problems they caused. I absolutely would not recommend Power Company for doors or windows to anyone I care about. HORRIBLE customer service when it came to owning their mistakes and making it RIGHT. read more

She was was it replaced or repaired? I said TOTALLY redone. She says "interesting", all smirky. I said why is that interesting? She said oh you have dark spots on your roof. Power why are you sending a young girl with no roofing experience to my house to harass me and make judgements about my roof she has no business making. There was interior damage to a tub and Saltillo tile flooring in several areas, and despite letting Power know, we've heard nothing in the past 6 months! The installers are to tarp/protect all area, yet did not. They put in 13 window in one day. They seemed very rushed. The damage is really maddening as it was totally preventable and is an expensive fix! I love the product but, they've not backed up nor even called about their installer's damages! read more

The salesmen are pushy, there's no getting around that. They go door-to-door, pointing out every flaw and their solution to fix it, and they will be at your house doing this for HOURS. However, they still had a great reputation, the guy was very nice and very personable. I liked the warranty, the product, and everything I could find online told me that they were trustworthy. We decided to move forward with replacing the windows on the front of our home, and I can say that they did a great job, they were very fast, we didn't run into any issues, and we've now had our windows installed for almost 2 years and haven't had any problems. I would call them again if I needed some more work done on the home. Just don't be afraid to say no and pick your battles. Negotiate. They're going to show you a million "problems" with your home, but we all don't have millions to spend. Just be ready for the bargain deal before they leave your house.
