    Pad woon sen with shrimp!
    Kira D.

PP Thai & Sushi (previously Nunthaporn's) serves up some majorly delish Thai dishes! For an Asian restaurant, they're actually very vegan and gluten free conscientious as well! They had a fairly decent amount of vegan and gluten free dishes to choose from! They're setting a very good example for more Asian restaurants to follow their lead and offer exceptional gluten free dishes to our celiac peeps! My husband got the gluten free evil jungle with pork, while I opted for the NON gluten free pad woon sen with shrimp! Both dishes were phenomenal! We ended our excellent meal with their gluten free mango sticky rice dessert. Soooooo good!! PS, if you're breaking land-speed records to score a bite, don't be alarmed if you still see Nunthaporn's Thai as the restaurant name. They literally just unboxed and haven't put up the new name for their restaurant yet!

Another delicious meal at this lovely restaurant! (Formerly Nunthaporn but they haven't had a chance to update the sign yet but the address and phone number are the same) I asked Joe, the head chef, to surprise me with something off the menu (for now) and he came back with this DELICOUS dish: 1. Yum vun sen, a glass noodle salad with shrimp (if you want other protein, I am sure he can accommodate). This is a cold dish, like a salad, quite a favorite amongst Thai folks. The flavor is a mixture of savory/unami, lightly sweet, a little tart and the heat is made to order. This combination is the true foundation of most Thai Yums (salad) and boy, it was YUMMY!! (see what I did there?? lol). We almost licked the plate clean! If you want to try authentic Thai salads/Yums, ask for this item. The flavors is deeply unami and so refreshing! We also had the following: 2. Seafood with pepper sauce (gluten free): baby scallop, mussels, shrimp, calamari, onion with the pepper sauce. The pepper sauce is made from scratch, gluten free and simmered for 4 hours. It was the best I have had! I was not too proud to not scraped the sauce onto my rice till it was practically clean! 2. Miso soup: flavor is on point! 3. Duck in curry sauce: slices of duck with a bed of diced pineapple, red and green peppers, and mushrooms. The sweet and sour of the veggies and mushrooms really paired well with the curry sauce and the succulent duck. 4. combo chicken and shrimp fried rice and it was delicious as well! It was moist, not greasy and flavors were on point with all the nice veggies We finished the meal with a mango and coconut ice cream. The Mango is more a shebert and the coconut ice cream was creamy. Out of the two, I loved the coconut ice cream the best! I even asked for an extra scoop cuz I inhaled the first scoop in no time! lol Happy with another excellent meal here and the friendly, outstanding services!

This place is incredible. I've eaten here 3x and each time the food was amazing. Saturday night I tried the teriyaki chicken and I've never had better (they make it in house) I've traveled all over Asia and this is the best Thai food I've had in the U.S.

When I walked in a was greater promptly by Anthony who was also my server. Anthony appeared to be the only server at the time and the lunch rush was coming in. Despite this, he tended to his tables well and I had a great experience. He provided recommendations and was clearly knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the salted edamame and teriyaki chicken. DELICIOUS! The food came out quickly but it didn't lack flavor. Very good! There's both indoor and outdoor seating available.

A hidden gem! We are so glad we found this restaurant. I have nothing but good things to say the food was delicious, service was great and felt a warm welcome. I tried the drunken noodles with shrimp and Lamp Chops. They also have so many gluten friendly options. Highly recommend!

Nice ambiance and super clean Thai restaurant. Service was top - notch! I was recommended to try the Crab Fried Rice... Amazing! I also had the Thai dumplings and the green curry which were both amazing as well . 10/10! I ended up ordering the Mango sweet sticky rice for dessert and so glad I did, YUM! Chef Joe came out to check on my food which was such a nice surprise. Found out he is also a Sushi Chef and they are adding a sushi menu in the near future. Cannot wait to go back!

    Jungle princess- unique, delicious dish!

For ramen, we ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu and Spicy Miso. Both were rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat. The broth was incredible, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and every ingredient tasted fresh and intentional. We've had ramen all over, and this was hands down the best ramen we've ever had. Great food, great flavors, and a meal we'll be thinking about for a long time. We can't wait to come back.

Our server was attentive, happy hour was good and everything came out quickly. The cucumber salad was super refreshing and gyoza were yummy with a delicious sauce. We ordered sake bombs, and I absolutely love that they serve them with frosty chilled glasses. We tried two different ramen bowls and both were packed with flavor. The spice levels felt pretty accurate, the eggs were cooked perfectly, the meat was tender, and the noodles had a great texture. Each bowl had its own flavor profile, but both were equally delicious. We also tried the takoyaki (octopus balls). I was already getting full, so I wasn't as excited about them, but my boyfriend described them as a BBQ pancake bite. Overall, this is a great spot for ramen. I did notice the music was all girl bands and no boy bands. Clean restaurant, good service, flavorful food, and a fun atmosphere. I'd definitely come back.

Rolls are smaller and taste like grocery store sushi rather than quality restaurant sushi. The sauces are different and used way more sparingly, the cuts of the ingredients are inconsistent. The rice tastes cheaper and the fish and fruits are unrecognizable. The Baja roll and Primo rolls use to be my favorite rolls anywhere. I ordered both and I honestly couldn't even finish the Baja roll. Cheap fish, canned fruit, almost no sauces. I'd honestly rather pay $25 a roll to have the old rolls back rather than these new versions. Sadly, I probably won't ever return unless they go back to the old level of quality for their rolls. RIP.

The quality of the sushi and the service has deteriorated. I remember the warmth in the service at the sushi bar before and that is completely gone...I have given it a few (maybe five or six) tries since they changed ownership and I think I'm to the point where it's clear that the disappointment is not just because they're new. The sushi is just not good. I have to stop coming here and it's a bummer because I live super close and used to love it. The green tea was even bad- all I could taste was hot tap water and it cost me $4.25 Not worth spending money there.

Reviews are very good and so we gave it a try on a Saturday evening. When we arrived there were 2 people eating at the sushi counter, otherwise it was empty. During our time there another couple came in, so it was not busy and easy to get a table. The server was very friendly and service was great. For that I'll push my rating to 4 stars. For me, this place is personally 3.5/5. Everything was decent but nothing I would rave about. And that might just be me, because people love this place in other reviews. It was possibly just a bunch of little things that made me think it's just okay. I thought the texture of sushi rice was a bit too soft, I know it's sticky rice but I felt like it was a little over cooked and too soft. I also thought both of my rolls tasted exactly the same. Which thankfully I thought were good tasting. The stuffed jalapeños were definitely a miss, they were so under fried so mostly a mush of ingredients in a jalapeño. And initially I liked the karaage but had a couple of tough pieces, so overall that was just okay. Miso soup was solid. And I realize that the appetizers are cooked in the back and not by sushi chef, and people rave about the chef. However like I said, both rolls seemed pretty similar tasting and one was supposed to be more spicy. All very standard flavors, like I would expect from AYCE sushi. I think I'm just looking for more delicate flavors with higher quality pieces of fish. I likely should have tried some of the special items listed on the rotating items board near the sushi bar. Next time we go back I'll try sitting at the sushi bar and trying some speciality items. People have said this is the best way to enjoy this place. We will likely come back during a lunch or happy hour special, if I like it better and I can upgrade my review I'd be happy to give this small, local family run business all the stars.
