Authentic Cantonese food and we liked everything we ordered. Service was nice and fast. Ambiance is great for friends and family. Will be back to try other dishes!

Great addition to Cedar park food scene. This is a Cantonese style bbq place where you know you'll find the typical roast duck and bbq pork as you would at others. They do it right here based on the few items we tried today. You also have the carb base option such as rice, dry egg noodle or egg noodle soup with your protein. They also offer more exotic options like, pork ears, duck feet and intestines which I appreciate. In terms of ordering process, you grab the menu as you enter, you can get grab whatever table available, figure out what you want to order on the menu, then go up to the counter to order. They also have cold and hot water for self serve. I don't believe there is hot tea. Given this was our first time, we opted for the standard fare as it'll be able to quickly tell us if this place is legit or not. Happy to report back that this one is worth trying. We order half a duck and it was nostalgic, flavorful, warm and dripping oil as we expect from a cantonese BBQ spot. The duck and sweet plum sauces were complimentary to the dish. I however, do wish there was less oil in the duck and the sauce. We also really enjoyed the honey BBQ pork with the rice but I feel like it's missing some sort of sweet soy sauce for optional use (which is what I'm used to having this type of dish in SF). We also got the wonton noodle soup, which was underwhelming. The bowl came with four pieces of pork and shrimp wonton. There was muscles toppings, which was not expected. The egg noodle texture was good, but the soup was a bit bland was lukewarm, which took away the whole noodle soup experience. Overall, we really like the place and would like to come back to try other items on the menu. So excited to see a proper Cantonese BBQ spot join the Cedar Park food scene! This place knows what it's doing when it comes to roast duck and honey BBQ pork, and they're not afraid to go bold with pork ears, duck feet, and intestines either. In terms of the ordering process, you enter and grab a menu, snag a table, then order at the counter. Self-serve cold/hot water (no hot tea, btw). Super casual, super straightforward. What we tried (first-timer standards to test the vibes): Half roast duck (4.5/5): Nostalgic, flavorful, warm, and gloriously dripping with oil just like a legit Cantonese BBQ fast food joint should. The duck sauce + sweet plum sauce were a match made in umami heaven. I'd personally love a little less oil, but hey, that's the style. Honey BBQ pork over rice (4/5): So tasty, but I kept reaching for a sweet soy sauce that never came. (Bay Area folks, you know what I mean.) Still a solid choice. Wonton noodle soup (3/5): underwhelming. The egg noodles had great texture, but the broth was bland and lukewarm (soup sin!). Came with 4 pork-shrimp wontons and surprise mussels... which threw me off. Overall, this place is a keeper. Service is great for a Chinese restaurant. They came by every table during our meal to ask how things are. I'm already planning my next visit for other items on the menu that we hadn't tried.

A cute Cantonese bbq restaurant with fairly priced food. The honey bbq pork rice bowl was only 13 bucks! It came with a good portion of bbq, rice, stir fried cabbage, juicy braised tofu, and half a tea egg. The meat was juicy and was already good without the extra sauce. I enjoyed the shrimp wonton noodle soup after I added some chili oil, but I wish there were more wontons. I like that egg noodle soup with choice of meat was also an option. I hear the duck is great so it'll be next to try.

Precious Restaurant is super convenient -- less than a 10‑minute drive from my house -- and a comfortable spot for a casual meal. The 花旗參老雞原盅燉湯 was soothing but lighter than I expected, and I ended up adding salt for more flavor. The roast pork, pork ears, roast duck, and marinated pork trotter were all nicely prepared. Wonton soup is not the traditional Cantonese style, a little bit disappointed on this but overall is good.

Came all the way from San Antonio to get the American Ginseng Chicken Soup (花旗參老雞原盅燉湯), it tastes so good and so concentrated! Will get it again next time I stop by.

The food here was amazing! I was so excited to find a Cantonese style restaurant in Austin. The employees were very nice and this is the best roast duck I've had in Austin. I will be coming here again. The prices are also very reasonable for the amount of meat they give you .

Very good food. The duck is fantastic. The only down side is the lack of direction for ordering.

Austin Restaurant Week takes place from August 28th through September 13th. First stop...Rollin Smoke BBQ, located in the Chalmers building, which filled with a crowd of people. I ordered a pull pork sandwich, mac-n-cheese and banana pudding. The pulled pork sandwich was huge, which I shared with the hubs. Quite honestly, I was full after eating 1/4 of the sandwich, which had cabbage, pickles and of course the pork (not the typical stringy pork but chunks of pork bursting with smokey flavor). The mac-n-cheese was substantial with cheese filled shell pasta with a hint of a smokey flavor. So yummy...Well, I might have eaten "all" the banana pudding. This was not your typical banana pudding (dense and flavorful). I certainly understand why they run out of this dessert. Service was superb! Great dining experience...

Order was done in about 10 minutes and pickup was easy. Service overall was great really friendly and knowledgeable for questions asked. The food was delicious. Brisket sandwich had a good mix of beef and fat, crust on the outside, BBQ sauce went well along with the onions. Bread nice and soft too. Noodle Brussels had great flavor however due to the inconsistency in size they were cooked to different softness. I preferred the smaller ones as they weren't crunchy when chewing. Personal preference. Overall great venue and the ambiance was laid back with a well kept area around the order/pickup window

I think I'll be dreaming about this steak for the rest of my life. We also got the beans, cider braised collard greens (to die for!) and my boyfriend got the brisket which you simply can't go wrong with. Service 3/5: the server was sweet but she took awhile to get back with us. We waited awhile for the BBQ (which happens at most BBQ), waited 30-40 min for her to come pick up the check, and then waited another 30-40 min for her to come back with our checks. Overall I'd recommend for the food but make sure you don't have anything planned right after!

I came here for the beef ribs and they did not disappoint. Are they expensive? Most definitely, 2…read moreribs cost $54 (they weigh them so prices can vary). Were they 100% worth it? ABSOLUTELY. When I tell you these ribs were a religious experience I am not embellishing. Full disclosure: I do not currently live in the south so I don't consider myself a BBQ connoisseur, but I did spend 4 years in the south and have sampled many BBQ joints in the meantime. Take this review as someone who really enjoys BBQ (and any slow cooked meat for that matter) but who could not list more than 10 BBQ restaurants they have eaten at in the last 5 years. So the beef ribs. Great texture, tender meat but still had a bite to it. Expertly seasoned so they were not wet with sauce but still moist. I would consider 1 beef rib a snack, 2 a small meal. I also tried the chopped brisket (brisket and burnt ends sitting in a soup of BBQ sauce). That was also delicious (and more reasonably priced), but I could have done with slightly less sauce. It really was like a soup and while the sauce was tasty, there was too much of it. I went later in the afternoon (around 2/2:30pm) and got their last two beef ribs so going earlier is better. You order at the open kitchen and then pay at the counter when your food is ready. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, you can take your food and sit at any of their tables of which they have many (this place is pretty big). I cannot comment on how this place stacks up to other BBQ spots in Austin, but I very much enjoyed the beef ribs.

I was…read morereminiscing about some memorable fried chicken I had in Tennessee, so we decided to stop in Austin and finally see what makes Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken so "world famous." We started with the fried green tomatoes. They didn't quite beat the unforgettable ones from The Front Porch Cafe at Dollywood, but they were still tasty and we happily finished them. I ordered the 2-piece dark meat while my cousin got the 2-piece white meat, both with baked beans, slaw, and white bread. The baked beans and slaw were both satisfyingly delicious. When my plate arrived with a thigh and two legs, I thought I had ordered wrong! Our wonderful server, Kamber, explained that the legs were especially small that day, so they have to serve two instead. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and delicious, and I loved learning they use peanut oil. The fresh, natural quality definitely came through. And placing the white bread underneath the chicken? Brilliant--it soaks up the extra oil! Service was fast, friendly, and efficient even though it was a busy Friday lunch hour. Amber was great about answering our questions and regularly checked up on us. She even introduced us to their homemade Chess pie--a classic rich southern custard dessert pie--which we were too full to try this time, next time for sure. We'll be back, especially since there's another location in San Antonio. Next visit, I'm coming hungry for the fried okra, mac & cheese, and seasoned fries! Just wish they also have corn on the cob and corn bread as other sides options. Southern fried chicken craving: officially satisfied.

For fifteen people, the total cost was $425.69. This included delivery costs and taxes, but no tip. It consisted of three meats, two sides, and a dessert along with pickles, onions, bread, and BBQ sauce. There was also a set of utensils delivered, but plates were forgotten, but not a big deal. Brisket - This was definitely the best item eaten of the day. It was tender and juicy while adding the BBQ sauce giving that extra bite. The BBQ sauce was great regardless, a little bit of sweet and smoky flavor going on. Pulled Pork - This was another solid meat choice. I did not think it was as tender as the brisket, but it was still enjoyable especially with that BBQ sauce, which was key throughout the meal. Sausage - This was not bad. The snap on this threw me off a little, but it was not too bad. They were large links and had plenty of flavor. Gouda Mac & Cheese with Smoked Bacon - This was actually penne pasta with little pieces of the bacon. I actually preferred this pasta choice here. It really soaked up the cheese sauce. The sauce was not too over powerful and was just right. Beans with Smoked Bacon - These were not too bad. I thought they were a little liquidity, but the added bacon pieces definitely helped. Banana Pudding - This came in individual cups, which was nice. The pudding was thick with a little meringue or whipped cream present and a few wafer cookies on top. It was a satisfying ending to a very good meal. Will I go back? Yes.
