This company is amazing. Talk about caring for the customer. They had to order parts for our heater so it wouldn't be fixed for a few more days. Chris was going to bring us a couple space heaters in the interim because the weather had turned cold. When he realized his space heaters weren't working, he drove to Home Depot, bought two new ones and delivered them to our home at about 8PM. Very long day for him. We told him not to worry that he could bring them next day but nope, he insisted. You simply do not find people in this day and age to go the extra mile but this company surely does. We had Bay Area Home Services come to repair our business A/C unit which was leaking. Their repairman came immediately when requested and was friendly and efficient in making the repairs and also in advising us on when we needed to do for regular maintenance. We then asked them to come back again to replace our A/C unit filters. On their second visit, they did a great job and even helped us recycle the old filters! read more

Last summer we hit the on switch for our A/C on the first hot day and ... nothing. Well if you count warm air it was doing something. I know A/C stuff can be a big investment but it's needed so we set up a few estimates. Chris from Bay Area Home Services was prompt, professional and friendly. We felt good. When we saw the estimate we felt very good. It was very fair and the company stood out as professionals an knowledgeable. I couple of folks that came by from other places to give us an estimate made us feel less than comfortable. A year later? All good. We had nice cold air AND we replaced the furnace at the same time so we enjoyed a comfortable winter too. read more

Unfortunately, your response omits several important objective facts that I discussed with you…read moredirectly during our phone conversation. First, repeatedly referring to my furnace as "a 1996 furnace" is misleading. While the cabinet was originally installed in 1996, all major internal components were professionally replaced five years ago. Multiple licensed HVAC contractors immediately recognized the refurbishment during their inspections and all independently concluded that my furnace was in excellent operating condition with decades of service life remaining. More concerning was your technician's sales presentation. I was told my furnace was a fire hazard, posed a carbon monoxide risk, and required replacement in the interest of safety. Those are serious claims. Yet four independent licensed HVAC contractors disagreed with that assessment, and none recommended replacing the furnace. Instead, they all recommended replacing only the air conditioner. You also claim the photos your technician showed me were legitimate. That claim is difficult to reconcile with what I personally witnessed. I watched all four of the other contractors perform their inspections in real time. They each inserted their phones into my furnace, showed me live video from inside the unit, and provided photographs of the internal components. All four sets of images were consistent with one another. None resembled the photos your technician used to justify replacing my furnace. That discrepancy is exactly why I sought multiple independent opinions before making an $18,000 decision. During our phone call, I explained all of this to you and provided the context regarding the refurbishment. Your public response ignores those facts and instead repeatedly relies on the original installation date to justify the recommendation somehow. My review was never about whether homeowners can replace both systems at the same time. Many choose to do so. My concern was being told that I NEEDED to replace a recently refurbished, fully functional furnace because it was supposedly unsafe. After obtaining four independent opinions, I concluded that your recommendation was not supported by objective facts. "Facts don't care about your feelings" the saying goes. I spoke with many contractors, and almost all of them sent salespeople who gave generic answers or tried to push cookie-cutter solutions that clearly didn't fit my setup. Carlos was completely different. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he wasn't a salesperson -- he's an engineer, and it shows. He took the time to deeply understand my system, reviewed actual spec sheets on the spot, and immediately identified issues that other contractors completely missed. Multiple companies told me Hyundai panels would work fine. Carlos checked the amperage limits, applied proper safety margin calculations, and clearly explained why those panels would not work with my EcoFlow system -- saving me from a costly mistake. He also walked me through: Proper panel selection within voltage and amperage limits Safe string configurations and series wiring How to maximize roof space while staying within code Permitting requirements I hadn't been told about before On top of that, Carlos identified critical code and safety requirements that no one else mentioned: Bollards required in the garage to protect battery units Correct battery placement to maintain required clearance from doors and entrances Heat detector requirements for battery installations in a garage These are all things that would have caused inspection failures later -- and Carlos caught them immediately. They were knowledgeable and answered our questions. The quote was comprehensive. They were open with their recommendations. Their quote was excellent almost identical to the quote I accepted. They obviously have great reviews The only difference was the company I chose had a lot of experience (10+installations) with my HOA including homes essentially identical to mine.

I called Bay Area Home Services, Inc for services on my heater and air conditioner. They discovered that I needed to replace both. I was not surprised ; they were quite old. They did a great job. They arrived on time and explained all the options that were available to me and the costs. I chose a higher end system, the price was very competitive and great equipment. I had Bay Area Home Services come out to give me an estimate on replacing my heater and air conditioner. They were on time for the appointment and went over all my options with the systems. On the day of the install, the installers were on time, professional and very knowledgeable about the install. I would recommend them to anyone that needs heating and air conditioning. read more

I really wish there was a ten star rating. I'm absolutely blown away by the customer service and product installed in my home. I was given plenty of options to fit my needs and stay on budget.
