Not once did he try to tack on unnecessary repairs or charges but did give honest feedback on current condition of my vehicle and things to keep an eye on. He will definitely try and save you money where he can, which is unheard of these days. The dealership wanted to charge me 5 times what I paid Precision Auto for repairs I had done. I couldn't find anyone to take a look at a check engine light on my truck without a 6 week wait. Precision auto was able to squeeze me in to an already busy schedule. Most places gave me the run around when I called, but after giving them the code I had over the phone, they spent five minutes explaining what the code was and if it needed to be seen immediately or could wait. They were honest and responded promptly if I had any questions. The price was fair and service was excellent. If you are looking for honest, affordable, quality work, I highly recommend you check out Precision Auto. After my experience today, they have become my go-to mechanic shop. Here's why - I had installed new brakes shoes and parking brake cable. Unfortunately the emergency brake didn't hold my car in place, and on top of that my car started making an awful scraping sound. After many failed attempts to diagnose the problem myself, I decided to finally have a mechanic take over. This is when I called Precision Auto, per my brother's recommendation. ONeil answered right away and gave me a quote and appointment over the phone. I showed up for my appointment, and after a free inspection he got right to work. He handled my car with immense care. I was curious as to what I had done wrong, so walked me through everything he had done. He corrected a few mistakes I had made when installing the shoe springs. After disassembling the entire shoe (a tedious, annoy feat in and of itself), he caught a major error I had made - installing a bolt backwards. The bolt was jutting out and interfering with the brake shoes' ability to open and close. After reinstalling the bolt properly, he worked diligently to adjust the brake shoes and parking brake cable. We tested the parking brake on a steep driveway and my car finally held! He then worked on addressing the scraping sound. There were no obvious reasons, but using his extensive mechanic experience, he deduced that the sound was coming from the rotors scraping the dust shields. He corrected this by gently reshaping and sanding the dust shields. After reassembling everything, the concerning sound was gone! All in all, this has been the best mechanic experience I've ever had. ONeil was patient and informative, taking the time to address each and every one of my questions. He treated me with respect; this is something I value tremendously as a woman who has had several patronizing mechanic experiences. And lastly, his prices are absolutely unbeatable for the quality of work he performs. Thanks again, ONeil! read more

The owner of the shop is an awesome guy , real honest and responsive. Will make sure you leave with your car in good shape and everything you ask to get fix he will try and try until it's solved. First time I took it he checked my truck out , I was having problems with it and the problem was sporadic so when I brought the truck to him it had resolved itself I guess but he was kind and honest about it. Gave me advice on the truck and I was on my way. Then i brought my Avalon to him and he did an awesome job on the struts and fixed my check engine problem.
