He wired up some outdoor outlets and repaired/replaced some outlets throughout the home as well. He recommended that we install two GFI protected circuit breakers on circuits that weren't grounded, and in doing so we uncovered a problem with the way one of the circuits was wired as turning on the kitchen lights caused the new GFI breaker to trip. He came back the very next day and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Jeff is very knowledgeable and efficient in his work, and I'm glad I know have someone to turn to for troubleshooting electrical problems.

He confirmed the outlet was indeed getting power, and that the box needed to be adjusted. It was a quick 30 minute fix (maybe less than 30 minutes but I got some educational incite from him). Glad I went with Hagan Electric to fix this. A previous electrician from Mister Sparky Electric claimed the outlet needed to be rewired and was not getting any electricity. The Mister Sparky Electric guy charged $400 to tell my HOA: "Resident has square D panel which complies with today's standards. No need to change panel." All he did was look at the panel that day. Maybe 15 minutes to say what kind of panel it was and charged $400. Anyways- beware of going to certain companies to have electrical work done. Hagan Electric seems like a good one. The job I had today was pretty simple.

The job site was left extremely clean and the work area looks better than when they arrived. I would absolutely recommend them for your electrical needs. Excellent service! Kevin came out to address what I assumed as an issue with the breaker on a specific circuit I was having issues with. He was the third electrician, but the only electrician that identified the issue to be the main breaker. Kevin quoted a replacement cost that was far better than the previous two. The quote included repairing the stucco and the concrete sidewalk which the other two did not. Kevin's knowledge of the entire process from permits, working with SMUD, timing, and inspection was outstanding. Plus, all of his crew were great to worth with. It made the entire project worth coming back for more work. I highly recommend Precision Electric for any electrical work. read more

Hubby tried to install ceiling fan and BOOM something blew! Several outlets affected. Called Precision and Kevin responded immediately! He was already on a job but not to far from our home. Showed up after finishing job and completed work for us. Very nice and professional. Very appreciative for same day service. I should note that I called several companies and they either wanted to price gouge me or not available until Tuesday/Wednesday. Don't ever try to work for this guy he's an old grumpy man likes to hang up on you and tell you to grow a pair. I worked 4 days for him and quit and he still owe me for 10 and a half hours and now won't pay me.
