horrible service i told them it was an emergency and my car was look at at the absolute last minute. i was told i was going to pay a rack fee receiving very little information for an alignment. total waste of time. no follow up at all i called them not vice versa and it was only after i stated i would call corporate i get my key back calling customer service is no picnic either. i called about six times a day for five days. i got one (1) missed call. when i called back about five minutes later ....you guessed it voice mail. the phones there are rarely if ever attended. never again just seems way too polite. read more

Wish I could give zero stars right now went with my friend to get her Tahoe a oil change. No one told us there was a issue with brakes. There was never anything wrong with them either no light no nothing. When she started it there was no brake light on in the dash and as she went to back up an apply to the breaks the petal went to the floor. Cant imagine what could of happened but to put your customers life at stake like that is ridiculous. They also didn't seem to care either. I was in a hurry need got lazy and decided to take my car here for a tune up ( just spark plugs changed installed) my car was running decent then after they fnished the "tune up" i had check vsa system light warning on, check power steering warning on and a slew of other alerts going off on my dash! I was so pissed and the guy didnt even care he said "well u asked for a tune up we put in the spark plugs". I was charged over 200$ dollars taking my car to the dealership im going to open a lawsuit this is the shadiest most unprofessional place ever read more

I came in with a car that wouldn't start and they squeezed me in to their very busy schedule and within ten minutes gave me a report and estimate that was a VERY fair price. When a shop advertises a great price for a front end alignment. You should probably run! Particularly when they tell you they will charge you for a pre-alignment inspection in the event that they "find" a problem that prevents them from doing the alignment and you choose to not pay them to correct the "findings". I had my truck at another automotive shop where I got new tires put on just a few weeks ago. They did a full front end inspection and informed me that I needed a new steering gear box, driver side outer tie rod, and an idler arm. They said I should get an alignment once those repairs are complete (they could have done the repairs but didn't have the alignment equipment - plus I have a guy I use for most of my mechanic work). So two days ago, I had my mechanic look it over and he ended up replacing the recommended parts plus the inner tie rod end and sleeve (it only cost a little more and made sense to replace all 3 pieces). Also, the pitman arm was just replaced within the last 5000 miles and it was still perfectly fine. This brings me back to Precision Tune.... I dropped my truck off last night so they could work on it today. I just get a call from them this morning and guess what? They "found" problems during the pre-alignment inspection. What's most interesting is what those problems supposedly are. Idler arm (replaced two days ago!), pitman arm (replaced less than 5000 miles ago), and passenger side outer tie rod (not replaced but checked out by two other mechanics). I asked if they have ever done an pre-alignment inspection where they didn't "find" an issue. They said yes. I should've asked which employee that vehicle belonged to. Bottom line. Stay away from this place. Don't be lured in by an advertised price for a service. Crooked!!!!!!!!! *************UPDATE 1/26/2016******************** A couple of updates. First, you'll notice that someone claiming to be a representative from Precision Tune has replied to my review. They asked me to email them my contact info so they could work with me to resolve any issues. I sent them an email promptly (same day). As of today I've not heard from them. Also, when I picked up my vehicle from Precision Tune, I asked them about an area representative by the name of Darryl. They've never heard of him. Nice. It's also worth noting that Precision Tune did charge me $20 for the pre-inspection. They also charged me for shop supplies..... REALLY? I disputed their assertion that the pitman arm, tie rod end, and idler arm were bad and noted that most of the parts were new (only a couple days old). So yesterday I dropped my truck off at another shop down the road. They just called me. Guess what? Alignment is complete and all the applicable front end components checked out just fine. So that now makes 3 shops/mechanics saying everything is fine compared to Precision Tune. Either they are completely incompetent or they are absolutely crooked. Absolutely terrible service. I paid for an oil change package from Groupon which included a tire rotation and brake inspection. I had just plasti dipped my rims and lug nuts so after they "rotated" my tires I checked out my rims and lug nuts and they didn't have a single nic on them. I was also told that I needed new front brake pads and rotors, which I had just replaced 3 weeks ago. They tried getting me to buy a brake job that I didn't need and didn't rotate my tires. Terrible service. I will never be going back to this pathetic excuse of a "shop". read more

Recently, my girlfriends car broke down and we had to go to this place because it was the nearest place that the tow truck could get to. We are both college students who don't have much money so having her car break down was scary. They tried to sell us on stuff that they didn't even know the car needed, and thankfully we have a family member who is a mechanic so we were able to talk to him and decide that we didn't need the extra services they were trying to sell us on. If we didn't have a contact who knew about cars, we would have been screwed. Completely overpriced and they try to rip you off. Don't go here, or your bank account will regret it and you'll end up purchasing things you never needed. read more

This place is wayyyy too expensive. They cost just as much for certain services as a dealership and for some services, cost even more. They tried to sell me a new thermostat that would have added over $400 to my bill when they didn't even know if I needed it or not. They also said they would start working on my car one evening so that it could be done quicker the next day, and when I showed up the next day, it hasn't been touched. Avoid this place. read more

I stopped going to the Precision Tune in Englewood because I don't think this place is very honest. I took my granddaughter's car in for an oil change. After the oil change, I was told that the water pump was "seeping". It had just been changed at another shop just a few months before. I took the car to a different shop and was told that nothing was wrong with the water pump. Here it is a little more than a year later and the water pump is still going strong with no issues. If you are a regular customer, how many things do you think you have been charged for that had nothing wrong with them? read more

Was pleased with the customer service I received. They are very polite, but that's about the extent of their skill set. I had the driver front axle replaced on the 5th of June, 2018. They completed it in a timely manner, and were very friendly. Now normally, being an auto enthusiast and former auto care technician, I would have double checked the whole area they worked on, including the lugnuts, axle nut, and even the tightness of my steering wheel bolt(its aftermarket). But, because of the exceptional customer service experience and the several conversations with the manager, someone who worked for Toyota/Lexus for many years and was very knowledgeable about my specific import, I felt like I was in good hands. So I hadnt messed with the wheel at all. On July 4th, just shy of one month, as I drove to work, my car felt different, and i heard a noise. I was going 70mph down I-70 and then I hear snaps and look out my window in time to see my wheel, the very one that had been taken off to put a new drive axle on, break away from the car. Thus turning my sports car into a tripod and sending me into a level of anger I have never felt before in my life. I'm mostly unhurt, but my car is in shambles. When speaking to the tech who worked on my car and the manager, I was politely told that I would be paying them to fix the damage....Hmm. they also said that lugnuts need to be tightened every other week making this my fault.... no. And finally they told me that the torque was set to 110lbs(my car only takes 80)..... amazingly incompetent Luckily for all parties involved I am a man of patience, I am providing parts for them(as I normally do my own work) and wait for them to fix it for free, or face a lawsuit. If all goes well my review will change, until then, DONT GO HERE. read more

Had oil change and tire rotation. Very polite and courteous staff that got me in right away with no appointment. Price was reasonable. My engine light was on and tires are a little worn. But they were very honest about my car and didn't just try to take my money. I will definitely be back for another visit. read more

Biggest rip off in Englewood. We took a 1999 GMC suburban to them refrence a missing out problem, after thei $85.00 scan, plus they added a gas filter, with out asking, the bill was now over $150.00 and they advised that the vehicle needed, an AC pump replacement (had it done at another location at 1/3 the cost thay they wanted) a fuel pump rplacement (New one already in place) posible leaking head gaskit, (Nopr, checked, not leaking), and so on and so on. They claim that they can diagnose any vehicle problem, NOT. Very poor diagnostic's extreemly high prices. Will not darkin that door mat again. read more

Recently my 22 year old daughter overheated her car and got stranded on the side of he road. She had to have her car towed and it ended up here. She knows nothing about cars. After charging an exorbitant fee to check the car out to begin with, they gave her a quote that was as high or higher than the dealership, only they were not using genuine dealership parts. They also recommended a multi-hundred dollar service job that they did not even know if it needed. It turns out, it did not need it. Extremely bad recommendation on their part to a young girl with no money. I would not trust any relative, friend, or person without a bottomless bank roll to go to this shop. Untrustworthy. Please do not let anyone you know service their car here, unless they have a blank signed check. If you have to, sorry about your bank account. If I could give them zero stars, I would! read more
