After speaking with Blaine, he was able to send out a guy the next morning between 8-10. I had called back after our phone call and left a message requesting if they could either call or text when they were 15-20 mins away just in case I was out running errands or busy on a call at work. That didn't happen. I was out doing an errand. Around 8:45 Adam shows up and I'm not home. Luckily I left the side door open for him to inspect everything. I rushed home and spoke to Adam who inspected everything he said yup, for sure our spring needed to be replaced. We also had him change out both garage door cables too. After about 30-45 mins Adam was done! Boom! Garage door was able to open no problem! Adam was kind enough to give me a quick 101 on how to maintain our garage door too. I'd give this company 5 stars because of how fast and efficient Adam worked. Only thing I would have knocked off for was if they could've just shot me a quick text/call on their way over. I get it, they give a 2 hour window, but there's a lot that could be done within 2 hrs especially if you have to work.

I was lucky to catch Joel between jobs and he came out within 1-2 hours. We have security gates and had good communication with him on text to get him in. He is a super nice man and efficient worker. He finished the repair in about 15-25 minutes. I did not have enough cash on me to pay him the exact amount, so he told me to forget the relatively small difference because we are repeat customers who will call him again as need--that's how a good businessman does business. Hopefully our old door will last a while longer, but if it needs another repair or to be replaced, then we will definitely call Joel. When he was done he said we should also get a new motor. He can give me a discount as well. At this point my husband was working and I said I'm not going to make big financial decisions without him. Later, my husband went to inspect the work and saw that the springs used were not heavy duty, they're color coded. He called and asked for the manufacture of the springs to confirm durability which they refused to disclose. He was then quickly offered a partial refund. Due to this experience my husband left a negative review. We originally chose this company because of the positive yelp reviews and felt we wanted people,like us, to be forewarned. Now they are calling us from multiple phone numbers, came to my house while my husband was at work, and left us a threatening voicemail if we do not call them back. Needless to say, as a woman with small children, I do not appreciate the unexpected visitor. This harassment has been going on for days. They threatened to come with the police and lawyers because they're not going to service us anymore. I don't understand as the service has been done and paid. We will no longer work with you in the future. We've already looked into calling our local police department if this harassment continues and have saved our call logs, Google doorbell camera videos, truck license plate number, and voicemails. If we need to, we will contact the BBB. Under the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CFRA) this form of retaliation is illegal for businesses to behave as such. It's a shame instead of learning from their review and doing better for their customers they choose harassments and threats.

Greg gave me a 2 hour time frame for the appointment and texted me early and showed up right on time at the beginning of the window - very prompt! He diagnosed and fixed my issue so quickly and even made sure my opener was lubricated appropriately and running even better than before - above and beyond! He doesn't try and push a bunch of unnecessary services or equipment on you - he's a real straight shooter and it was so refreshing! He was a joy to chat to and work with. This time, we reached out because of a grinding noise coming from near the motor. We reached out to Greg and another service we've used in the past. The other service told us we probably need a new motor because it's 18 years old and gave a couple quotes for replacement. Greg, on the other hand, scheduled time to take a look. He saw that the belt was wearing and said this could be the issue. He advised that the belt should have a lifetime warranty and to call Liftmaster to order new one. He provided me with the model number and even the phone number to call, explaining that garage door companies can no longer request the warranty for customers and we have to call in ourselves. Greg came out last Tuesday & said the belt would probably arrive on Friday. The call to Liftmaster was super easy and the belt arrived on Thursday! Greg said the plan would be to replace the belt. If that didn't work, we already discussed the Liftmaster model for replacement as we know the motor will need replacing soon. Greg said he'll bring the new motor just in case, and if the belt replacement doesn't fix the issue and we need to replace the whole motor, he won't charge us any extra labor. We scheduled Greg for today (Monday), and he installed the belt in no time! Fortunately, the replacement belt did the trick and the grinding noise was gone! This will buy us some time before needing to replace the motor. We couldn't be happier with Greg. First of all, he's a very nice & genuine guy. I'm sure he's busy but he still takes time to chat with you and answer all your questions -- he never seems in a hurry. Second, he's super knowledgeable and experienced.
