Unfortunately, I had a HORRIBLE experience with Premier Automart. -------------- TLDR: I bought a car from Premier Automart and found out I needed a whole new engine 3 months later costing me an extra $5800. -------------- I bought a '13 BMW - late November 2022. It was a beautiful car and at $14,000 I thought it was a fair deal. I ran the CARFAX and everything checked out and the Google reviews all boasted positive things about the owner, car lot, and vehicles. By late February 2023 (3 months later) I started hearing loud banging coming from my engine and I took it to my trusted BMW mechanic. The mechanic said that I needed a whole new engine or that I could count this car as a total loss. I said "what?!?" I paid $14,000 for this car.. and he said that yes unfortunately it had been showing that code for a while. I called Premier Automart and explained my situation. The owner said they had their hands tied and could ONLY help me with a discount off the engine installation. As I didn't pay for the extended warranty and that the lemon law did not cover the car after 30 days. Personally, after everything I felt that I could not entrust Premier Automart with anything pertaining to my car. Therefore, I decided to go with my mechanic and pay the extra money. My mechanic ended up charging me $5800 for the new engine which I'm fine with as I know he did a great job. Ultimately, I would never recommend this car lot to ANYONE. If I could go back in time I would've spent my $20,000 total at another car lot. read more

Horrible! Flat out lies to customers and let us drive away in a completely unsafe vehicle. Since we caught in several lies, we did have a pre purchase inspection done. We were aware not a new car annd expected some repairs probably needed but lied to about extent. Car needed a four brakes done as well as 2 tires replaced otherwise would not pass inspection. The dealer agreed to do brakes and tires. We thought that was good. We went back to get car and there was a strong grease /oil smell which we asked about and told was because new brakes. We drove over 60 miles back home,(we had to register and get own temp plates prior to picking up car),cleaned the filthy insides and brought to our mechanic because wanted checked and wanted all maintenance that was neglected brought up to date. (Dealership said they don't do stuff like that only safety stuff). Anyways, we found out that when they fixed the brakes they stripped a lug and instead of replacing the hub and bearing as would need to be done on Mercedes, they just packed with grease and jammed the lug on. Lug readily just fell off. We were told we could get a personal check for our money back if DROVE car back?! Undrivable as was and dealer said would not pick up car if we expect money back. We thought that because had Carfax linked on their site, they were 'vetted' but they are not. Refused to give us the name of garage that installed brakes nor repair what they broke. We had already paid them extra to fix blind spot assist and paid our mechanic as well as registration and title so we would have lost even more. We simply wanted them to take responsibility for what their shop broke. Lesson learned! They sold my 18 year old daughter a car 35 days ago that now has tires that are bubbling due to lot rot. They are refusing to remedy this situation. A reputable dealer would replace the tires. The car also has a bad ball joint. Very unsafe. I'm filing a report with the BBB to try to have this remedied since Eddie and Tiffany are refusing to be ethical business owners. read more

Eddie and Tiffany are so nice, and answer all questions, I test drove the vehicles, and I ended up taking home a vehicle I loved, Tiffany was so patient and explained everything for the finance process and it was easy easy , she was so sweet . My point has been proven tenfold I don't need to engage you in a debate anymore . You were not even there it was just Eddie and myself so you can't even comment on what happened . The fact that you are Eddies girlfriend explains this emotional outburst you're having toward me you can't look at this objectively or unbiased and as I said before you weren't even there. That vehicle is very rare so the fact that it's been sitting in your lot for 45 days says everything . I'm not responding to you anymore . And yes for your info my best friend is a certified BMW mechanic , I was in contact w him the entire time and he advised me to walk away . I'm not even sure it would have been safe to drive that car 100 miles back home . As you can see from their response to me they don't even deny they had attempted to sell me a vehicle in need of several repairs. Had an uninformed naive buyer gone in here they would have sold you a car that was not up to standard. They had plenty of notice that I was coming to see them from CT and didn't even bother to give the car the once over for someone traveling 2 hours to do business w them . As for the nonsense about the 5200 PLUS my trade , that's a complete and blatant lie because Eddie valued my trade at $1500 , 1500 + 5200 is 6700 , your asking price for the vehicle was 6495 why would I offer to overpay for a car that needs repairs ? Horrible experience w this guy , came from out of state to see a car he had on his lot , knew the risk of traveling out of state to see a car but the blatant dishonesty and attempt to rip me off was embarrassing . First of all he lets you test drive the car by yourself which is a red flag . I took the car for a test drive and within literally 60 seconds the car spit a code out for a brake sensor malfunction , rather than replacing the part his mechanic just shut the sensor light off and hoped it wouldn't turn back on . Within 5 minutes of driving this car it was plain to see the car needed AT LEAST 1500 in repairs maybe more. The steering column was not responsive and once you hit 50 mph the steering wheel goes haywire and starts shuddering . I have experience driving BMWS and from my experience that usually means the wheels aren't balanced and even worse what I suspected was the control arms needed to be replaced . The worst is yet to come , this wasn't necessarily a deal breaker for me but I did tell him " your asking price is 6400 , the car is in blatant need of repairs which you didn't bother to do before putting it on your lot , I will make an offer of 5200 including the value of the vehicle I was trading in. He was reluctant but agreed to my terms. He then proceeds to write up the purchase order but he put the original 6400 as the sale price , he must have thought I was an idiot and somehow wasn't going to notice . At this point the deal fell apart and I left . Wasted 4 hours driving to and from this place . His negotiation skills are embarrassing , if you aren't going to repair your vehicles before you put them for sale you need to be prepared to negotiate the price . Blessing in disguise read more

Sold me a truck that was in "great condition" after going into their shop MULTIPLE times the issues still weren't fixed. Ended up costing me about $1,000.00 so far. After check engine light went on and truck stopped starting. read more

One star is really too much for this disgusting establishment! I was there on Saturday to look at a Mazda Miata with my partner. First of all, the car was advertised on Craigslist as an automatic. We got there and it was actually a stick shift! We saw it, plain as day...How could the owner of the dealership miss this point! We decided to test drive it anyway and he gave us the keys. It was as though this was out of a comedy film! The car would not start! He had to charge it with a portable charger! We were perplexed as we have never experienced anything like this before. The owner of this remarkable establishment insisted that the car had been driven only two days prior to our visit. Someone must have left a light on in the interior the car. He was insistent! We drove the car couple of miles and there was a light on in the dashboard ( which should not have been on) indicating that there was a major issue with this car. He poo pooed this issue and tried to negotiate a price with us. Told us that we are such nice people! What's time-waster. If I had read the other yelp review first I would not have driven from Connecticut to this mismanaged dealership. read more
