Jake and the sales crew were great to work with! My hubby was very particular with what he wanted and they delivered! Very impressed!

Fantastic service here. And the cars, oh the cars.... Can't beat a Cadillac. Highly recommended. Oscar is great in service. They do a great job on my CT6 car.

I had an appointment today at 9:30 AM at the dealer and they taking three hours to get an oil change done on my Cadillac XT4

Does ridiculous three hours to get an oil change done with a appointment Imagine with no appointment

Terrible Experience at Premier Buick Cadillac GMC of Carlsbad - Avoid at All Costs! This was one of the worst dealership experiences I've ever had. I initially scheduled an appointment to replace the rear brake pads, and the estimated price given over the phone was $150. However, when I arrived, I was shocked to find out that they were charging $325 for two pads, plus $675 for the rotors--outrageously overpriced. Their inspection process took nearly 4 hours, which is completely unacceptable. After finally getting back to me, the staff pressured me into replacing not just the pads and rotors but also brake fluid and all four tires--even though two of them were nearly brand new. This felt like a blatant scam to upsell unnecessary services. I reluctantly agreed to replace the rear brake pads, rotors, and brake fluid, but when I asked for a discount, the staff was extremely dismissive and rude, basically telling me to take it or leave it. He even claimed he had never purchased parts from AutoZone and had no idea how much they cost--a clear attempt to justify their ridiculous pricing. The worst part? I was originally told the repair would be completed the same day, only for them to later inform me that they were missing parts. They said if they had to order from LA, it would take a day, and from Michigan, a whole week. Then they asked me on the spot if I still wanted to go through with it--otherwise, they would just reinstall my old parts, and I wouldn't get my car back that day. I had no choice but to proceed. The next day, I took their Lyft service back to pick up my car, only to be told they hadn't replaced the brake fluid as agreed. I showed them my message history confirming the service, yet they refused to acknowledge it, saying they would only go by what was "verbally agreed upon" the day before. When I requested to have the brake fluid replaced as originally planned, they told me to take my car home and come back the next day, without even offering another Lyft ride. When I demanded it, the staff reluctantly provided one, but with an attitude. Three days later, this "simple" repair was finally completed. At checkout, they even charged a 3% credit card fee, bringing the total cost for just rear brake pads, rotors, and brake fluid to $800--an absolute ripoff. The dealership itself is small and unimpressive, with a tiny, uncomfortable customer waiting area. This entire experience made me feel ashamed to be a customer here, and I will never return for service again. Avoid this place unless you want to be overcharged, disrespected, and stuck waiting for days!

Service advisor was good. 1 star for poor business practices. Charging customers a 3% credit card processing fee is a joke. Will look to taking my car elsewhere.

Poor communication, issues unresolved, $10k overcharged for a brand new lemon. Wife's dream car turned out to be a $110k turd. They didn't even let us keep the giant bow. They're $15 on Amazon.

Gas tank

The gentleman helping was nice. But I was told it would take all day for an oil change and for my breaks to be checked out. I'm not exaggerating, they said and I quote "It'll take all day." So I left my vehicle and was given a ride by a Lyft driver they provided. Now this isnt their fault, but the Lyft driver was a transient. Clothes not washed, smelled of cigarettes and stale alcohol. The seats were crusty and vehicle dusty. I can almost guarantee he had meth on him. Anyways.. I got a ride back to the dealership after being told it was ready. I arrived and was told it wasn't ready. I looked to my left and my car was parked in the car ready spots. I pointed at it and they said "the person that helped you is on lunch and your paperwork isn't finished." I waited an hour and the guy helping me shows up. I ask him for my car and he said "anyone could have helped you, I'm so terribly sorry." These people lied to me a couple times in a single visit. Bruh. Then I get in my car, a quarter of my tank is gone. I filled up for my wife before I got there. Did you leave the car and ac on the entire service? How dare they call them selves a business.

I reached out to Toyota Carlsbad as their website showed they had a 2026 RAV4 FWD in stock. Hamid, the salesperson, reached back out to me to let me know that they did not have that specific configuration in stock, but had an open reservation that was in transit. He let me know I could put a refundable deposit to reserve it. I decided to proceed with that and it was very easy with their reservation system. Hamid kept me up to date on the status of the vehicle. When it arrived, my wife and I scheduled a time to do a test drive. When we got to the dealership, it was out and ready for us. Hamid showed the car and its features to us. My wife did the test drive as I needed to watch our baby. After the test drive, Hamid gave us a quote for the car and some options. The quote was very competitive and he did not try to pressure us into any add-ons. We wanted to think about it for a day as we were test driving other cars, which Hamid was amenable to. My wife and I talked it over and were having a hard time picking which car we liked. Since I did not get a chance to test drive the RAV4 myself, I reached back out to Hamid the next day and asked if he was okay letting me come back to test drive myself. He was fine with that and I came back up to test drive. Hamid let me take my time and really let me feel out the RAV4. After driving it, I decided that it wasn't a fit for us. I let Hamid know. He had no issues with that and was extremely professional. Overall was very happy with my experience. Hamid was straightforward, honest, communicative, and overall great to work with. If we want to look at a Toyota in the future, I will definitely reach out to Hamid and Toyota Carlsbad.

One word. Tanner…read more(service advisor). He legit has changed my mind about Lexus. I've had horrible service over the years from Escondido and San Diego. I was going to get rid of my (paid off) car and get into a non Lexus lease because I was getting frustrated and annoyed with service advisors. The Carlsbad location is a further drive and the center seems older. But I can tell you it was WORTH IT because of Tanner. He was upfront, honest, and knowledgeable when I first spoke to him. I needed brake pads and possible new rotors. I just trusted him when he said to first pay for the brake diagnostic (I think it was like $59.95?) and they'll know exactly the issue to see exactly what needs to be done. The fee will go directly towards any service and it wasn't a loss as I knew for sure my brake pads were worn badly. The loaner department was also quick and efficient (I think the guy's name was David?). He got me their newer 2025 RX to the loaner and I totally understand why they give Lexus loaners as I emailed tanner to say hey wait don't do the service as I may just trade in the car (kinda half joking here). But I know which car I'll be getting in the next two years now. The brake service was PERFECT. I didn't need new rotors (yes!!) but was super close to it (as i expected). I also decided to get a full interior/exterior detail for the car (haven't had it since owning it so it was much needed). I am back today for the alignment (got the wheels at Costco few min away as their 4 tire special beat Lexus). Hopefully alignment went well but I wouldn't expect anything less at this point with Tanner and his team here. Thank you Carlsbad Lex!

Instead, I was met with high-pressure sales tactics. They claimed the advertised online price was a "mistake," refused to hold the car with a deposit, and pressured me into buying that night. They also offered me next to nothing for my trade-in, then shooed me out without an orientation to the vehicle. I was told I had an option contract, but when I found a better financing rate, my calls were ignored. I was also pressured into buying an extended warranty, when I called Lexus corporate to cancel, I later learned the dealership hadn't submitted the required paperwork and the car was not tagged as certified pre-owned in the system. Emails and calls went unanswered for weeks until I contacted the general manager. If you buy here, make sure you secure outside financing before you walk in. They will relentlessly pressure you to finance through Lexus. The experience was so bad that I now go to Lexus Escondido for all my service instead of returning here. Edit: I forgot to include. They also charge you $2,000 for an "optional" security device which isn't a car alarm and they can't explain what it does- but it's actually not optional.

He adapted his communication style to my method as I was very busy and couldn't answer the phone as much. He worked hard to return my calls even after hours as we were working through the paperwork, he answered my all of questions even if it involved asking others to confirm, helped me understand the vehicle, the process, and where to go when I needed help (even after the car purchase), and made me feel supported without being pushy. He even answered my partner's call when my partner needed to handle things given the short timeline and I had a lot going on. Even as we were purchasing the vehicle, I saw some smudges and I really appreciated his professionalism, kindness, and follow-through throughout the process. It felt like he genuinely wanted to help me find the right car, tried to get me what I wanted out of the car buying experience with a lot of work behind the scenes, and make the experience as smooth as possible. Jaden was able to do what no other dealership in the area could do. I want to thank Jaden for making such a big purchase feel much more manageable, for getting me the car of my dreams, and doing something no other dealer could do. I'd definitely recommend working with Jaden!

Horrific/scum behavior that added 8% to my loan. I complained to GM corporate anyway regardless of the time that's passed as I see other reviews even very recently that are mentioning the same exact practice. So I'm not a huge reviewer online, but want to save anyone who I can from making the same mistake…read morethat I did of buying a used car from AutoNation. Their employees outright lied several times and have cost me more time and effort than I could have imagined. We were in the market for a used Jeep Grand Cherokee and headed over to AutoNation CDJR Carlsbad, who had a few used models on the lot. When we pulled up, we were greeted by a sales rep, who showed us a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. We test drove the car, and nothing major jumped out at us, except for a check engine light. When I asked the sales rep, he told me that the service department will toggle the check engine light on to indicate that the car still has maintenance or cleaning in progress. Didn't think much of it, other than that it seems like it made sense to a degree. We told the rep that we were going to look at a few other options but would reach out in the next week or so. Flash forward to our second visit to AutoNation... Now that we were considering buying the Jeep, I did a more thorough check thru the vehicle, and test drove it a second time. This time, there was a weird pressure releasing sound when the AC compressor clutch engaged. I brought the issue up to the sales rep, who lied thru his teeth and said "every Cherokee and Durango makes that sound, trust me I own this same car." Our response was... "great, show me one other vehicle that makes that sound on this lot, and I'll drop it." After giving up on that approach (listened to several vehicles and no sound), I asked if we can evacuate the AC system and recharge... assuming that the low level was causing the refrigerant to pass as a gas where it should be liquid. The rep called the manager and a mechanic up from the service department, who made it their mission to make me feel dumb and like I didn't know what I'm talking about. After they assured me that I didn't know what I was talking about for the last time, I told them that we were going to walk, so they evacuated and recharged and what do you know... the sound went away. We thought this was a win, and decided to pull the trigger on the car. At this point the car goes down for the "Final wash" and the check engine light goes off. We purchase the car with a financing option in place, giving us 5 days to drop a check off for payment in full, and financing would be cancelled. We drive the car home and before we even make it home from the dealership, we get a check engine light. When I plugged my first scanner in (on the next key on cycle), I got no stored and no active codes, second scanner found a previously deleted camshaft position sensor stored code. The next day, we headed back to AutoNation to hopefully work out the check engine issue and to drop the $20k check off. When we got there, we were told that we HAD to hand over the check before service could look at the car... (I win the dumba** of the year award for handing that check over). We pay for the car and head down to the service center, assuming that since it was sold the day before, we would at least get a "Sorry this is happening, we'll get it worked out ASAP." Nope... Turns out that they wanted us to drop the check off so that this work could all be billed to the 3rd party insurance, instead of coming out of AutoNation's pocket. I fully believe that AutoNation knew that this car had lifter problems and needed a camshaft (at least) and lied to make the most profitable sale that they could. When I asked for a rental car of equal size, they told me that they would pay for the cheapest option, anything above that is on me to pay for. It's been a month of us having to pay out of pocket for part of the rental AND the manager of this location has received 4-6 messages from me with zero response. It gets better... I reached out to the sales rep, (since the service center doesn't talk to customers I guess) and left a message with all of the issues that we've been dealing with. He calls me back a while later from his personal phone (so he says) because he is afraid that the manager at his location is recording his calls and if he admits that they weren't completely honest, that he'll be retaliated against. Anyone from AutoNation corporate or the insurance company that has the phone plan which includes outgoing calls... I've been asking for an explanation for a month and radio silence, please find my info from the purchase of the white 2017 Grand Cheorkee from AutoNation CDJR Carlsbad in May 16, 2026... Shouldn't be too hard to find since you still have the car I paid for a month ago... -Kevin

When we arrived Austin had the car ready, and numbers prepared just as he and my husband had discussed earlier that day. No gimmicks or extra sales pitches. We sealed the deal within 45 minutes and before driving away, he made sure to our gas tank filled which was nearly on empty and had the car detailed (other dealerships were only offering us a $6 express car wash next door!) so this was really appreciated. She mentioned that she would waive the $98 service fee due to my husband being in the military. We were appreciative of that as costs due to the move we're adding up. I wish I had sent in a CarMax quote on my own to compare numbers, but was told they had already sent one in. Once we sold the vehicle, we completed all the paperwork with the dealer, and contacted Britt for next steps. She had informed me that we'd need to pay her $298.
