They definitely had a ton of vehicles on the lot, but after my experience, I started to wonder if maybe that's because nobody is too interested in selling them. I wasn't expecting a red carpet, just a simple "Can I help you?" would have been nice. I eventually left and went to Premier Chevrolet, where I ended up purchasing my vehicle. I can't speak to the entirety of this dealership, I've only used the service department. And I've had some good service experiences here, but the last one really had me fuming. I believe the technicians are good here, but I've been pretty unhappy with the service advisors (SAs) over my past two visits. On this most recent visit, I made an appointment a couple weeks in advance, and dropped it off the night before so they could get to work first thing in the morning. The next morning I got a call from the SA (a fellow named Ray) confirming they got the car. No call received toward the close of business that day - I had to text him to get an update. The update was that the technicians were busy with other cars and might get to it the next day, or maybe the day after. I told him I was disappointed to have dropped it off and not have it looked at...after all, I made a reservation. I would have dropped it off a day or two later if I had known they were too busy to look at it. He said the reservation was just to see an SA. As if I want to see an SA. Nobody wants to see an SA, they are just the orifices you have to pass your car through to get it serviced by the people who actually know about cars. In my opinion, service advisor is a role that adds value for the dealership but very little for the customer. Anyway, no contact from the SA on day 2 at all. Finally at the end of the third day, I was frustrated to still hear nothing, so I called the SA and got his voicemail. I texted him and told him to forget it, just have the car ready in an hour, my wife needs it to get to work tomorrow. We'll do the diagnostic another time, I said. My wife and I changed our plans, put the kids in the car seats and were on our way to pick it up when he texted that the car was ready and the tech found no issues. Wow, what a coincidence. I suppose he thought I'd be happy and grateful that the work was done. I went to speak to him at the dealership and he told me, you brought the car to us with an empty battery, you shouldn't do that, don't let the battery go all the way to empty, it will cause the issue you saw (which they couldn't reproduce). This is for a plug-in hybrid. I said, first of all, I brought it in empty on purpose because as I described, the issue I wanted you to see only happens when it's using the gas engine after the battery is depleted. Second of all, you can't mean to tell me Chevrolet designed this car on purpose for the driver to never exhaust the battery and switch to gas -- that is the whole point of a PHEV vehicle! He handed me some literature someone had typed up covering the problem I had, as I guess this is a common issue, and frankly that document made more sense than he did. I really berated the guy and I feel bad, but also what can I do, he's the face of the dealership for my service experience and the experience was pretty bad. I actually felt skeptical at first that they even looked at the car. I said, when did they look at it? He said the day before, maybe a little bit today. I said, Ray, when were you going to call me? You couldn't give me a heads-up yesterday that they were looking at the car but needed more time? And honestly I highly doubt they looked at it on day 2 and continued to study it more on day 3. He didn't charge me for the diagnostic, which is nice of him, and it tells me the techs didn't spend much time on it. I don't believe that a tech spent hours trying to reproduce the problem and then the dealer decided to eat that cost. Which is fine: they saw no diagnostic codes thrown and the problem wasn't showing up when they tested it -- so it probably took them 15 minutes, and I'll give them an extra star for being honest and not charging me. But that means the car surely could have been picked up on day 2. I said to Ray, when were you planning on calling me? It's the end of day 3! Were you going to call me right before you closed? Or on day 4? What if I never contacted you? Why has every single update I've gotten (other than initial drop-off confirmation) required me to initiate? He told me how he's been very busy, which I'm sure is true and also not my problem. I don't feel well taken care of, and in fact I feel a total lack of respect for my time and for my family's time. You realize people have to make alternate arrangements for work, kids, errands, and that we may be paying for a rental car, right? To be fair, Ray was very professional while I raged at him and was sorry he didn't do better, and for all I know he's been placed in an impossible position by the service department management. In that case shame on Quality Chevrolet for not having a policy to a) work on the car the day it's brought in on a reservation, b) communicate daily or more with the customer, even when no progress was made, giving us a newly estimated timeline so we can plan around it, and c) tell us immediately when the car is finished. Bottom line: Have the utmost respect for your customers' time. read more

Although it took several hours to find the problem, we needed a battery and a radiator. They knew we were trying to get home and they had one radiator in stock so they got to work first thing Tuesday morning and we were on our way in the afternoon Sophia from the service center could not have been more wonderful from the minute, we walked in the door until the following day when we were finally able to leave. Why did you accept my appointment if you couldn't look at my car for five days. Either the person making the appointment is incompetent or you're not fully staffed and shouldn't be taking new appointments. They tried to tell me they never do same-day service, but I've been going here for 15 years getting same-day service. They need to tell people that the QR code is NOT for the preapproval, but to actually sign up for the card. They also need to be descent people and tell them the truth about the QR code they pressure people to scan. Tell people that they can put $5,000 on a credit card instead of saying it depends on the credit limit. Now tell me why we did t leave til night time? There was no price adjustment. They con you into applying for their credit card and say you'll get $1000 off the truck, if you charge $1000 on the card. No deal whatsoever and they keep you all day. They're back and forth with a supposedly offer,is non existent. We weren't even asking for anything and every time the salesman would walk away to supposedly ask something, it would take another hour for an answer. Unadvertised mark ups, will only finance through GM financing at rates 3 to 4 percent higher than any other bank, do not want trade ins, bad mouth and lie about other nearby dealerships. After a visit here, I went and purchased from their closest competitor. Same truck for much less money and a way better finance rate. When I was at Quality they even referenced their closest competitor and said "they won't be able to get within $3k of our price", which was $1k above MSRP. Manager was condesending and rude. The competition beat their price by almost $5k, gave a finance rate 3.5 percent lower and customer service was night and day difference. read more

Juan in the service department just gets stuff done!!! Backing up a few years, I bought my new truck in December of 2021 from another dealership. I bought it there based on where I was at the time, but the dealership really isn't convenient for me. Fast forward now a few years and my truck's odometer rolls past 60,000 miles. I'd had regular maintenance performed by local shops by my house, but wanted to bring it by a dealership for an inspection and servicing since it had just hit 60,000. I called Quality Chevrolet on a Monday and spoke with Juan. I let him know that I hadn't been there before but that the dealership was convenient based on where I work and that I'd like to start bringing it there. Juan quickly gave me options for when I can bring it in and set up an appointment for me. A few days later I dropped my truck off and Juan got me checked in quickly while my ride waited. A couple hours later I got an email saying that my truck was done and that there were no issues. I had the oil changed, fuel system serviced, transmission fluid flushed and a few other things. I got a ride back to the dealership from a coworker and got my truck paid for and picked up almost as fast as I'd gotten it checked in. This was a great experience overall and I appreciate Juan letting me know what he recommended for my truck and I feel confident knowing it's been done by the pros! Bring a tent or an RV, whenever you visit this dealership to buy or lease a vehicle, because it takes forever to work with this dealership. It's one of those situations where the sales personnel within the showroom have no authority or responsibility to negotiate or do anything but keep you company while the people "behind the curtain" make all the decisions regarding your deal. Therefore, it literally takes many hours for the dealer's leadership team to structure the deal, position the sales approach, and deliver the sales or lease package for customer review. Perhaps they believe that if they keep you there long enough, they wear you down to the point that you will do anything and accept any deal they give you just so that you can get on with your life and no longer be held hostage within their dealership. I've tried so many times to get ahold of someone to explain the issue. I've lost count how many times I've ended up being routed to a voicemail box. The one time I actually reached someone after selecting to speak to an advisor. The call is picked up by someone in service but neither an advisor, nor a manager. I was left on hold for over 10+ minutes. I finally just gave up and hung up. Get it together Quality Chevrolet!
