So David did my last door at the house and it was beautiful. I did have to call him back to fix one edge but he did so without problem. It kinda saddens me to read these reviews. I just called him back to my new home and he's just as nice as I remembered him. The door quality was fantastic before I expect the same now. I don't know who said he is a threatening kinda guy I can barely hear him he's so soft spoken. Overall my review is truthful some tiny thing I needed him to fix like a scratch and he did and came out a week or so later. He was great using him again as simple as that. It does take up to 5 months I think I waited. Hard to say as it was years ago but it is communicated on invoice 15-20 weeks. We trusted Premier One Improvements, and David Martinez. As we placed an order for a custom $7,000. entry door, we were okay with a 6 month lead time. The custom door install left us with a spray painted scratch cover-up, gaps around the door, and an interior frame job that defies description. When David came out he initially attempted to convince us the blame on the 1960 era builders before addressing the situation with the help of paint, trim and lots of caulk. 14 months after the install our custom $7,000 door, protected by a roof overhang and not in proximity to water, started to RUST. David assured us he would address it, and then delayed 6 months. When he finally came out he did a cursory sand and spray paint job, promising to return shortly for a second coat. He also promised to leave the paint on his next visit. His second visit was to occur before year end 2025, and he said he'd be able to take care of the work from the exterior so we didn't even have to be home. When nothing happened, we contacted David again - he said things got hectIc so he'd be out right after New Years. New Years came and went but with more texts and calls, "Just after New Years" turned into a commitment from David to come on March 17. David didn't show on that day and so we texted. In his reply text of March 18, David stated "Im so sorry Terrible day yesterday Car issues Completely forgot to tell you Will setup again as soon as I get my car back". We understand that things happen but since March 18, our texts and calls to David and his office admin, Gina Marie, go unanswered. They appear to be evading us (and our neighbors who have issues with their Premier painted doors). I'm not looking from a Yelp response from David and Premier. I'm looking for the customer and product service they assured us they'd deliver, and they continue to promise through their mass mail promotions. I develop corporate customer-service initiatives for a living, and write extensively about customer service successes and misses. Quality companies proudly stand by their customers and their products. Based on our experience, I assure you that there is nothing premier about our experience with Premier. If you're looking for a quality product and service, always go where you're appreciated. I just noticed that Premier One Improvements added a response to my review, that hasn't changed, though I am more than willing to address his response so others don't have the same experience. Here is what they (he) wrote and my response: 1- Door installed and contract fulfilled on August 16, 2022. Door was installed - correct. When we tried to get them to correct the exposed areas around the door, that were not there prior to them installing, their contract apparently became null and void and I had to file with the CA Contractors Board, where they were found to be in violation on 2 counts and cited (refer to CA state contractors board for citation content). 2- Solution presented and REFUSED on Wed, August 31, 2022. ($100 fee for labor and supplies) David likes to "yadda-yadda" over the best parts. Premier One, specifically David Marinez / owner operator, agreed (not offered) to fix the door "if" we took down our complaint with with the CA Contractors Board, Yelp and BBB, which I refused to do. This was done through a mediator with the Contractors Board. In response to David's conditions, I told the mediator that I would agree to him fixing what he did, and taking down complaints, if he apologized to my wife for threatening her. He refused to do this. To this point, if there was nothing wrong with the work they did, then why even offer to fix anything.? Here are the items they were cited for, straight from the CA Contractors Board: CODE Business & Professions Code VIOLATION 7109.A DESCRIPTION Departed from trade standards CODE Business & Professions Code VIOLATION 7159.5A3 DESCRIPTION Exceeded down pymnt of $1000 or 10% whichever is least CODE Business & Professions Code VIOLATION 7159.D8C DESCRIPTION No statement about excessive down payment. CODE Business & Professions Code VIOLATION 7159.5A5 DESCRIPTION Contr has recvd/reqstd more money than work completed 3- We have never and would never threaten a customer This is a lie. David Martinez with Premier One Improvements "did" threaten my wife and this is also reflected in the Police report that was filed with then Riverside Country police department (case# TE22430115), shortly after he did this. David also got in trouble with the BBB, for using their BBB accredited logo, when he has never been accredited. I admit, I was guilty of believing the ad that he frequently posts in the HomeMag, where he was using the BBB accredited logo. I mean really, who would post this if it wasn't true.?. Lesson learned. If you want to know how many times David has knowingly lied, simply go to the HomeMag site and go through their past ads (Sept, Aug., July, June, etc, in North OC and South publication from 2022) and count how many times this was used to promote his business (Also see example that I have attached). This is why Yelp is good, as he was able to get the BBB to take down other complaints (except for mine), yet Yelp has kept others who have had issues with him, in tact! Good work Yelp! We had a custom back door installed in March of 2024. It has never latched correctly and over time would get worse and worse. We have had multiple people from their company out to fix it and no one has been able to do so. There's always some excuse as to why it's not functioning correctly. It still does not work. Now, whenever I call, no one answers the phone and they won't return my calls. This door was very expensive so I'm very unhappy that they won't send someone out who can actually fix it once and for all. I would NEVER suggest this company to anyone. read more

My custom Iron front door has had problems since we bought our home 7 years ago. I have had multiple people come to fix the door and had zero success so I gave up awhile until I found Premier One. David had me send him photos of the door and he immediately knew what the problem was and how to fix it. He was very punctual and polite and explained what he needed to do to fix the door right there on sight he had all of the necessary tools. After the front door was fixed I asked David if he could fix my yard gate which had a different problem...it had dropped and was not closing. He also had tools required and fixed that too. I had a great experience with Premier One. David came out for the estimate and he was honest, upfront, and transparent. We ordered an iron/glass front door that was in very high demand last year. I know because I had other estimates. David told us there could be a 6 month wait due to shipping delays. I was contacted after 2 months with an update that our door was still in process & timeline for delivery & install was still several months away. After 4 months of ordering the door, it finally arrived. It was 2 months sooner than expected. The installers (Jon & Hugo) were awesome. They were courteous & professional. I waited to write this review after all the CA storms passed to make sure there were no issues with leaking or gaps. There are none. Buyer Beware!!!! Please Read I'd like to share my experience with David and his company, as he seemed like an honest, reliable and trustworthy business owner. We signed our contract on 5/13/2021 to get custom made double Dutch doors with sand blast glass. It was 10-20 weeks for doors to be made and installation. We didn't get our doors installed till 2/16/2022 because of the wood shortage and it was stuck in the port? Supposedly it came from Oregon?? Weird. The trim for the door didn't fit for the inside and outside. (David came and did all the measurements). On 3/24/2022 they came back to put on the trim for completion. Finally done. All was well till August of that year. 5 months after install I noticed some bubbles appearing in the lower left corner of the frontside of doors. I gave it a couple weeks to see what was happening and they started getting larger and spreading. I called David 9/27/23, told him what was going on. His immediate response was cat urine. (We don't have a cat.) He checked with his painter ( I sent pictures of all the spots) and painter said something was applied and it was a reaction. (Nothing was applied to the door). I asked him to make it right and repaint it. Called again as it was spreading more along the bottom and over to the other door. His answer, same as before: a cat peed on the door or I sprayed something on it. It then started spreading upwards and on to the upper doors. I called about 5 times, all he did was make excuses...referring to cat urine or something sprayed. I gave him many opportunities to fix it, he mentioned his painter couldn't do it because he has bad knees and can't get down low to the ground. He never came to look at the door, I sent him many pictures, texts and called him..... in the end he just brushed me off hoping I'd go away taking no responsibility for his product and the workmanship. I took matters into my own hands and filed a complaint with the California Contractors State License Board on 11/14/2022. It was accepted. When David got notice of this he texted me asking "How can I help you?". He texted this in the same thread of all the pictures and texts I sent with his blaming me and making excuses........Now he was playing dumb. I then filed a complaint against his bond on 1/2/2023 with Markel Surety. I was informed there were 4 complaints ahead of me. (If I knew about this and looked up the company and found this I WOULD. NEVER HAVE HIRED THEM!). The bond company accepted my complaint...as the year went on it was 3 complaints, then 1 (finally) by September. When the bond company sent out their expert, David tried all he could to discount the contractors knowledge and expertise, almost arguing back and taking no accountability for his product and the workmanship. This same contractor found other issues I didn't even notice. The nails in the wood trim were not caulked which could allow moisture in. There were large cavities behind the bottom trim of both sides that should have been filled with foam, AND the bottom of this wood trim was raw wood, not painted..which could be an issue with moisture entering. The expert contractor, 2 architects and 3 professional painters all said the same thing: the door wasn't primed properly or didn't dry thoroughly, causing the bubbling. The door was getting worse, all we wanted was for it to be corrected by being repainted. The bond company told us we could repaint it (since it was taking such a long time) and we would POSSIBLY be reimbursed from the bond IF there was still money left after the complaints ahead of us were settled. (Frustrating). We had it repainted. Literally the next day the Contactors board investigator told me she wanted to send a specialist out to examine the door. I told her it was just painted. She called David. 3 days later I received a check from him reimbursing us for the paint. How ironic! The case with the contractors board was then closed and so was the bond. It took a lot of time and effort on my part for all of this when it should have been dealt with from the beginning! Buyer Beware! read more

We are in the process of replacing two sets of French doors and windows in our dining room and kitchen, and have contacted three companies to provide us an estimate; Premier One being one of them. When the estimator arrived at the front door (I didn't get the name), he was not wearing a mask so I offered him a brand new mask to wear. He flatly refused to wear it. (All contractors who previously had done work inside our house, including replacing two A/C systems, complied with our request to wear a mask.) We just had a front door installed and ordered by Premier One Doors and Windows. And it look AMAZING!! Not only was David Martinez a very nice person to work with, he made great suggestions that we are glad we went with. Also, Lisa who calls and let's you know that the door is in and ready to install, kept me posted on anything that was coming up. They actually wanted to install the door a couple of weeks ago but because I was in charge of our 40th high school reunion, and things were really hectic and they were nice enough to schedule a later date for me. So glad I waited. Then they said they would be there between 9-10 on Wednesday. They came at 9:20 and that was perfect. Lisa also called the night before to remind me and so glad she did. Guillermo came to install with his dad Guillermo and his brother Stephan. They were the nicest and cleanest workers I have ever had. They left the place looking cleaner then when they came. I would love for this to be resolved and I did not see Premier One's reply note until the other day about it all being my fault. My sprinklers haven't worked for years. I actually just got them fixed just recently along with getting the doors replaced. Funny thing is that I live near the beach and our house and doors are so wet every morning that water is just a condition of the area. I invited Premier One to go on Judge Judy, I wish he would go. We had initially wanted a Dutch door for our home. We contacted Premier One and David arrived to provide an estimate. David also suggested a more price wise reasonable alternative; a Conversion Door System. We had wanted Dutch door to provide ventilation to cool our home. Now, all we do is open our glass door in our front door to allow cool ocean breezes inside during summer. And, the Conversion Door System has a screen which the Dutch door does not have. The only negative is the wait. 8-12 weeks because of current logistical challenges. However, now looking at my NEW front door, the wait was well worth it! read more

Before I say anything more about Premier One Improvements Inc., I'd like to remind anyone checking out this company to look at the very bottom of this page where it says "Reviews not recommended at this time." Then scroll down until you see all the 5-star ratings this company got for their hard work and fair prices. Sounds like Rick C. had a terrible experience and I'm sorry to hear that. But there are two sides to every coin. From what I read it sounds like Rick thought if he complained loudly enough David M. would just give him the door for free or for 1/2 price. Unfortunately, in any biz there are crooked customers, too. That said, my experience with Premier One was 180 degrees different. I didn't meet David at the swap meet. I was looking for a company that could MAKE windows that would look exactly like the 86 year old windows that needed replacement. I met with several window companies; each one wanted to change the look of my windows and my house. David was the only one who recognized and respected my wish to maintain architectural integrity when renovating my 1926 Mission Revival home. Premier One not only replaced all 28 French-style windows, they also replaced our back door, coated the house with this amazing stuff that means never having to paint again (bug proof, fire proof, etc), gutted our kitchen and completely remodeled it, removed all the "popcorn" ceilings and plastered, painted every single room in the house, upgraded all the electrical and remodeled one of our bathrooms. I had other work done on our house, too, but not by Premier One. Why? Because David M. was honest in telling me that pools and refinishing wood floors were not their forte. Naturally, any time you have renovations or remodeling done, there are going to be snags beyond David's control. Lisa (office) was always good about returning my calls and giving me a heads up if worker's schedules changed, etc. Our project was not without some headaches. There was one particular worker we had probems with. Once we discussed our issues with Lisa and David, the problem was solved; we never saw that worker again. Call Premier One and at least talk to David. Or go see him at the OC Swap Meet and ask to see the pics of the job on the 1926 Mission Revival. We met David through the recommendation of a neighbor who has the most beautiful solid mahogany front doors we've seen. Come to find out that he had done French doors for their patio as well and they love all aspects of the Premier one team. We asked him to come out and give us a bid. When he came out he knew exactly what would be best for our house based on our style. He gave us a fair price and because of the custom nature of the door, he told us how long it would be and he was exactly on time. We absolutely LOVE our custom front door with the center scroll design with the waterfall glass that opens up with a perfect screen allowing us to have the freshness of the outdoors without having to have an UGLY screen door on out porch! The opening of the center glass/screen is high enough so our dogs can "keep watch" and yet not ruin our door or the built in screen. This door is built to be on the front of a FORT, our house would fall down around this door before the door is worn out!! David made a house call to tell/show us what our door would be like and all the great (secret) safety benefit. We ordered a customer iron and glass front door for our home. David came to our home and took all the measurements and took all of the time we needed to determine what we wanted in terms of finishes, door handles/knobs, etc. He was very pleasant to work with. Jon & Hugo were the two gentlemen that came out to install our door today. I could not have been more impressed with the work they performed and how polite they were. They put plastic up in our home to protect our furnishings from dust and damage. The door looked fantastic when the work was complete. My only feedback to Premier One is they do a better job of keeping clients informed of the status of their order. I wrote in on their messaging system on their site to get an update as to whether my order was progressing because it all stemmed around them being able to get a very specific door knocker and I had not heard yet whether they were successful. I also asked for an ETA. The only response I got was one word, "Yes". No ETA. I stopped in their showroom some weeks later to get an update in person. The woman at the front desk asked me if I had called David to get an update. I told her I decided to stop in and check. She was very hesitant and someone curt/rude and really didn't seem to want to look my order up. She did and let me know my door would be delivered in August. I was fine with that. This part of the transaction could have been way more simple. Aside from this interaction, I was extremely happy with David, Jon & Hugo as well as the workmanship and quality of my door. Stayed home for this company and my contractors to finish a job. I stepped outside in my backyard to look at the work by my contractors. Found a card on my door. I called back probably 10 minutes later and the guy would not even answer. I called the main office and she called this apparent salesman who told her he was at a gas station and not coming back. The gas station is literally 5 minutes from my house. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL IS THAT! When someone wants to spend $2500 to $3000 on a door + an additional 700 on other services, you would expect the salesman to show some courtesy if the client makes an attempt to call back and proceed with the appointment. ESPECIALLY when the time frame was 10 minutes and I was home. He clearly saw the cars out front, heard the television and saw the work truck. I have seen this company before and I know they deal with wealthy clients, but money is money, green has no color and my time and money will find a new place to land. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had one issue after another with front door that was never installed properly by Premier One. It's the running joke for family and friends that come over to our house because front door squeaks and doesn't close unless you slam it shut. Had to call David Martinez out multiple times to repair our door and over a year later still doesn't close properly. David Martinez is the classic used car salesman. He will over promise and under deliver. After spending over $2,000 on a front door, David's closing words were that we bent the IRON DOOR and that we need to armor all the door in order for it to close properly. Really??? I've seen the work done by Premier One and they are top notch. My parents are in their 70's and live in a private home tract in Cerritos. Because of that, they most often get over priced bids on work they need to have done at their home. They were looking to replace their front door and received a few bids. I told them to make sure that they did their homework and not accept or put a deposit on anything until I had a chance to check out the contractors. Some of the bids were very over priced, but the bid from Premier One was fair and the reviews were outstanding. They also has a B B B rating of A+ which I really liked. The door they picked was installed and beautiful. Lots of communication about the delivery and installation with David and his staff so every aspect went smoothly. My parents get raves from the neighbors about their new front door and are very happy and satisfied customers. Highly recommend Premier One. read more

I have recently had my entry door and 4 windows including a garden window (bay window) replaced by PremierOne. David M, the owner, came for measurements and the contract. There were some hiccups during the COVID time, but it was discussed and negotiable to the point I'm happy. PremierOne provided great quality services. They are professional and friendly. The installation crews are very nice and neat, they do care about their work and customer satisfaction. Put aside the COVID environment, real life is not always perfect, hiccups can happen anytime. The way David responsively communicated since beginning and how he got things resolved in my case make me trust to the company. This company's business practices are AWFUL . They talked a great game when quoting us in a $3800 door but failed to mention that the door can and will split/crack. This information was only conveyed to us AFTER the door was installed and it was in the back side of the care sheet. I called to place a claim and it took 3 weeks for Mike to come out and inspect the door. He then proceeded to blame the splitting/ cracking in me stating we didn't oil the door enough, even though I told him we oiled it regularly and showed him what we used , to which he stated that is the same oil they use. He then continued to go in and in about how it wasn't their fault and it is because our house faces south..... really!?! If that is such a big issue then why wasn't it brought up when he was here to quote the job..... oh yes.... they just wanted the job & the money. He kept stating that there was nothing they would do about the door . After this BS of blaming everyone else , I had had enough and kicked him out of my home !! I'm shocked by the negative reviews. I have NOTHING but positive things to say about Premier One Improvements. We contacted Dave to have multiple jobs done - replace door from kitchen to garage with a true fire door, replace utility door from garage to backyard, replace ugly existing window in living room and replace front door with one of their amazing iron doors. The Grant was were super professional and did fantastic installation work. Lisa and Gina were in constant communication for scheduling. Dave delivered on everything that he promised. The iron door required some minor tweaks with the locks since there is no "give" in the door, but Grant came over and fixed it in 20 minutes. My wife and I are in love with all the doors and the window. Before you read the negative reviews, be sure to check out the positive reviews as well. His employee called the next day and made an appointment. I waited over an hour and a no show. I called her and she said I had the wrong day. I told her I wrote it down when she told me. I called later and spoke with the guy I had seen a the swap meet. He became very rude and abrasive telling me I was wrong and a problem customer. How would he know? It wasn't a 3 way call. I choose not to argue with him and suggested he seek mental health support. THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY IS RUDE AND A LOOSE CANON THAT NEEDS MENTAL HELP. STAY AWAY. We moved into our home 6 1/2 months ago. The front door is beautiful, custom made about 2 years ago for the home by Premier One. About 3 months after we moved in, we noticed a chip in the bronze finish of the door. I contacted the former owners who gave me the company president's (David Martinez) contact info. When I contacted him in early January, he made it clear that they couldn't get anyone out to repair it right away, since they're very busy. I asked when we could expect to hear back, he said a few weeks. We heard nothing more, so tried again in early February, again was told they're too busy to do a repair, they'd be in touch when it was possible. By late February I reached out again and this time was told that if I just couldn't wait, maybe I should get someone else to do the repair. Now, this is on a relatively new door, custom-made by his company. I was worried about moisture getting under the bronze finish, causing more damage. Also, a contractor who looked at it suggested the possibility that the chip was due to a flaw in the finish. WOW!!! Get your waders on for Dave's comment below cuz that's some deep bull s&@t!! They never called me to tell me about the accident on the 91 I had to call him wondering where his guys were. I never threatened him that I'd leave a bad review he even took a whopping $100 off for the damages Dave says I immediately started harassing his workers?? That is a flat out lie!!! They were not quick or professional. I've worked in the trades for over 12 years I know the difference between a labor-intensive job and people just aren't working hard, these guys were the latter. And it's 48 miles from their house to my office not 70 there's one more lie. Dave's comment is seven months after my review what's up with that? If you look at premier ones reviews you'll notice a major discrepancy. So this review is late for the door install , but , I ran into a problem with my entree door almost 4 years after installation, the door won't align, and the side door next to it the latch won't shut all the way from the top , I was hesitate to call after I seen many negative reviews here , I really thought that I would be told they can't fix it , but I still took my chances and called , Lisa and I spoke , she asked y I didn't contact them before , honestly it was just laziness on my end , she said someone will call me and set a date , I called last week Wednesday, , Gina then called me Monday and set an appointment for today Wednesday with grant , she assured me thy will fix the problem , and not to worry , and she also made clear there will be a$75 service fee , I agreed and we set the appointment between 10-11 , 11 o'clock sharp my door bell rings , Grant looks at the door I explained my many concerns, and he worked on the door solving all of them , he also did explain that due to the weather the door will expand and contract , he spent 45 minuets and fixed all the problems , this is not my only door from premier one , I also installed French doors in my master , and thy have been amAzing , the jobs were done very clean and amazing finishes , I don't get the amount of negative reviews here , but I highly recommend them , people need to understand that when thy advice you something about ur door choice , or things u need u must follow , other wise it won't last , I was advised that the sun will take a way the color with time , Bcz my front door gets lots of sun exposure, so I built and entire top deck to prevent that , 3&1/2 years and count my doors look great , thank you premier one . read more

When I met Dave at the swap meet (maybe that is where I went wrong, I trusted someone at the swap meet) he seemed sincere. Truth is he is deceiving and untrustworthy. The only good thing about getting my front door was the look of an iron door not the company I purchased it from. The company, most notably Dave the sales guy/owner is shady. Did everything he could to avoid replacing the door. Within one week from being installed there has been problems. door not mounted right, casting falling off, door gets hot when Dave said it will not because it was insulated. 1st the casting started to come off week one 2nd the door settled and would not shut a couple weeks after they came out 3rd when it is hot out which is 300 days out of the year the door expands and will not shut properly which Dave said is our fault because it scraps the bottom and we should have to do maintenance on it. Who buys a door twice as much as a wood door to have to do maintenance on it? apparently I am the only one who complains that a door that does not shut properly and scraps the bottom and screeches loud every time we close it is. In total they came out to our house more than 8 times all for the same reason and he kept giving excuses to why it would not work properly. the one he gave the last three times is the worst of all, he blames us for metal plate scrapping the base and bending. It is not covered under warranty after one year even though it was never properly fixed while under warranty. I never go out of my way to post reviews but this made my wife and myself so upset that I felt obligated to share so no one else experiences bad service from this company so stay away. I'm actually in the market for getting a new large sliding pocket door for my backyard and definitely will not be calling these guys. read more

Well I found this co at the oc swap meet thought it was going to be a good deal, boy was I wrong! I had him come to my home to do a pre installation inspection and to measure to insure there was no problems. He sold my wife four doors, ??? What was that about convinced her to put doors in the middle of the walls to (keep the dogs out) that upset me but she seamed to be happy so I let it go however, the sales receipt was very veg and did not give a price per door. I thought that was strange but again I let it go 7 weeks later and no word on status we had to call to get a report as to when they would be installed we wanted all work to be done before Christmas as promised and time was getting close. So install day, Four guys show up one tears out the back door and destroys the old frame the new door has almost three inches raised up from the floor ( a real trip hazard) I called David the owner and explained my dissatisfaction and concerns he blew it off saying thats normal with that type of door I know some things about construction and the normal clearances is 3/4 of an inch as its a trip hazard. My concerns were valid as on Christmas a had two people trip over the high bottom frame. Which I'm still stuck with. Now for the real issues as if that is not enough my solid front door started to split after one week and I called David to complain and his Crüe was here fixing the trim job that was a joke he had them look at it and told them to cock the whole as a fix, again very poor costumer service as time passed the door split and I could see my car out front from the 1/2 inch crack in my door from top to bottom. As I called and sent over pictures of the opening to Dave it took threats to complain get a response and a new door which was done after three weeks which was a fibreglass door not solid wood and the one my wife picked had a speak easy opening which was a real selling point and was told no one would give a warranty with it being a south facing door ( funny because he came himself to sell it and never mentioned that tell after it warped ) Also with the two interior doors one. Of the guys was a real hack and shoot the frame in and blew out the whole corner of my wall so it's waisted only. Covered up by the trim and the frame trim is pieced together with uneven seams it looks like crap The bottom line is this was a night mare and I would never recommend them to anyone in fact run don't walk it has been a nightmare that took 5 months to get done and now I have to live with the poor workmanship and a door that I did not pick but had to settle for to get it fixed !!!! By the way I have a newer custom home with 8 foot heigh doors !!!! And cost $10 grand not cheep doors and I can't get him to give me a price compare from the first door and the replacement door!! What kinda business is that ? instead I got a ( the new door costs twice as much) and pay the balance when the peep whole get installed or I'm putting a lean on your home!!! Nice read more

Found them at the OC swap meet and had been wanting to get a new front door (and rear slider) for some time now. We were going to opt for a cheap-o security screen from Home Depot (I'm extremely frugal) but after seeing how pretty these doors were (and the option for the fancy screen built in) we decided to get a quote. They were much more expensive than I was expecting (for a cheapskate like myself) but given the great price on the back door and then the discount overall for doing both, my husband and I decided to splurge! Rear slider was quick (a couple weeks to get in and then a day to install). Front door is typically custom so that took a bit longer (8 -10 weeks I think, give or take, then a day to install). Worth the wait as it's beautiful and we've gotten lots of rave reviews on it already (seriously.....who knew people make such a fuss over your front door). And it's awesome to be able to have the window open but not have any bugs fly in and feel safe (from bugs and intruders). The hidden lock is the best. The gentleman who installed it was very polite, clean and personable (a big plus if they are going to be at your house for hours). Overall my experience was great. We were kept in the loop throughout the process and are very happy with the quality. We even were given special cleaner/sealer for it. They do warn you NOT to get it soaked with water and to make sure it's under an overhang/protected area. Plus a few other warnings and care instructions that I'm sure people don't take the time to read. I'd definitely recommend to family and friends. read more

We have worked with David for window replacements and doors. It's been several years now and we still get compliments on our front door. We save $'s annually on our electrical with reduced air conditioning bills with our double payned windows. He also did a kitchen remodel at my sister in laws where I wish I had her kitchen every time I see it. Yes the door was pricey but well worth the quality, and the windows were extremely reasonable. He walked us through his warehouse and showed us the glass options. Now I'm considering a kitchen remodel....we will see! read more
