I contacted Premier Power (after checking their many 5-star positive ratings online) when the power to my stove and microwave went out. They sent their Lead Technician Alvero out same day. After examining everything he managed to provide a temporary fix but said I needed a new panel and provided an itemized estimate that was impressive in what it included. I paid for the temporary fix and checked with friends who'd just replaced their panel, and asked another recently retired electrician if the estimate was reasonable. I'm grateful to have decided to go with Premier and am very pleased with their work, the details provided for in the contract, their clean-up and the price. We were happy Premier Power was available during such a busy time right before Christmas. We had a breaker trip randomly and it wouldn't stay on. Turned out we had a short in an old light switch. The electrician that came out had to take apart every outlet and switch on the loop to find it - very grateful for his grit to keep searching. Really a class act. Blake came over and I was so impressed I signed the contract and paid a deposit right away even though he said I was welcome to think about it. Unfortunately for me I realized a couple of days later that I was not quite ready to have the job done. When I contacted them to cancel, they let me know that they would refund my deposit even though they had already paid for the permits and also if I wanted to restart the project, the permit would still be be good for 90 days. It was quick and efficient and got the job done, but charging $375 for what amounted to just swapping a blown circuit breaker port seems pretty steep. You end up signing an agreement even before a diagnosis so not exactly much room to ask questions after and negotiate.
