This is a horrible bank. They steal money from your savings account without your knowledge. They cut off your online access to your account. They won't let you withdraw from YOUR own savings account if you owe them anything. Do NOT open an account with them. They don't care about their customers. read more

I applied for membership. I was turned down for an "identity mismatch" when they inquired with Chex Systems. Premier One Credit Union failed to tell me what was mismatched. I called Chex Systems and made sure that everything Chex Systems had on file was correct and I asked Premier One Credit Union to request another report. Premier One Credit Union failed to do this. I then called one of the "higher ups". He said I was being turned down, based on information from proprietary sources that he could not reveal. There might be a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. read more

This bank is not trustful and your money won't be safe with them. They stole both of my kids' checking account money at the same day from the same ATM location in Chile, with a well-planned scheme. I forgot to mention an important fact in my first review: When we went to the bank to seek solution with bank manager and found out someone inside the bank had purposely turned off the online statement alert for those two months, so we lost the opportunity to file theft report on time. Be very careful with this bank and check your statement often enough or at least every month, even if they "forgot" to email you the alert. Hope whoever out there won't make the same mistake we make. They say if someone steals $1 from you, you can't trust them any more. It's not the amount but the honesty. read more

Nothing premier about this company. Do not trust these clowns with your money. On October 10th, I wrote a check to pay off a loan with PremierOne. Several days later, I closed my account. To my surprise, two weeks later, they charged the SAME check a second-time! In their email they wrote, "The check was cleared twice on your account in error due to a system upgrade..." How is that possible if I closed my account!? I worked for a credit union and I can say with clarity, these fraudsters shouldn't be allowed to run a food truck. I went into PremierOne with the sole intention of opening up a new checking account. My credit union at the time no longer satisfied me so I wanted to jump chip. From start to finish, the whole process was effortless. Friendly staff, smooth process, smiles all around, nothing I would normally bother writing about. What impressed me was the branch manager, Sukhoon Hong, taking the initiative to sit down with me to discuss my current credit health. He went over any and all options available to me to save me money along with improving my credit score. Financial matters are usually a sensitive enough topic that people might not be willing to bring up their concerns. Sukhoon skipped all that and approached me. I've only been signed up with this branch for a little less than a week and Sukhoon has probably saved me months, if not years, worth of interest fees that were probably not going away anytime soon. Highly recommend these guys for any banking or financing needs. read more

I went to PremierOne looking to get a home equity line and was under a very tight timeline as I needed the funds for a business venture. I was expecting the process would take at least 6-8 weeks like most banks. But Sukhoon Hong who is the branch manager there understood my situation and worked with the loan officer Delia Padilla from the corporate office to help expedite it to under 4 weeks and got me a better rate than other banks! During the entire process, both he and Delia were fantastic to work with! They were both very much accessible and provided regular updates so I knew exactly what the next steps were. This was the easiest mortgage loan process I've ever gone through and one of the reasons I love working with credit unions as they provide a much more personal touch and top notch customer service than the big name banks. read more

I create my checking and savings accounts with them year ending 2018 and so far do not regret it. Last week I started looking into options for buying my first car. I reached out to PremierOne Credit Union to see my options for a car loan. I spoke with Sukhoon Hong and he explained how it all would work and what I would could potentially qualify for. I imagined this whole process would be really daunting and difficult but Sukhoon was incredibly patient and helpful and answered every question I had. I ended up unintentionally and spur of the moment buying my car last Friday and called Sukhoon the next day. Today is Monday and only 2 business days later he arranged everything and he followed up with the car dealership so that I am now approved for my car loan through PremierOne Credit Union instead. Everything was handled so quickly when I initially imagined it could take weeks! 10/10 would recommend! read more

This credit union is ridiculous! Two weeks ago I opened a small savings account. (For my kid but in my name) Everything was fine. The following week I received a call from their fraud department who said that because I had recently changed my cell phone number it raised a security alert and they canceled my entire account! (I changed my number because of constant telemarketing calls) I asked them to ask me any security questions they needed in order to confirm my identity. They said "sorry, but the account is already closed, come get your money or we will mail it to you" I had to cut up my new ATM card and shred all of my checks. Then then tried to charge me the $10 sign up fee!! To reopen the account I had to change back my new number to the old number. Which I did. I let them know that my old number was back. A few days later they called and said that the security issue related to the changed number been listed and I could open a new account I just went down to try to open a new account and they asked me to verify a different cell phone number that I had in the early 90s. I told them I couldn't remember that and they said that if I was not able to provide that number they could not authenticate who I am. I had three forms of ID and offered to bring my birth certificate and Social Security card. They said they didn't need that they just needed me to verify a cell phone number that I had 20 years ago. Who remembers a cell phone they had in highschool!!! ??? UNBELIEVABLE WASTE OF MY TIME!!! Go to ALLIANCE credit union across the street. Im here now and there is NO stupid bullshit. read more

I went to PremierOne credit union for my very first car loan. I must say I wasn't disappointed at all. Sukhoon, the branch manager did everything possible on his end to make sure I get the best rate of interest possible for me. All the process was seamless and hassle free for me. Sukhoon did all the paperwork and the loan was approved very same day. Moreover, I didn't have to do anything to get my loan amount transferred to the dealership and it was all handled by him. Never been so embarrassed in my life, took my father of 85 yrs to take a large withdrawal this afternoon and he has been with this credit union for ages . Plus, they welcome him as he is a regular I heard. We came for a certified check for a family stock transaction...the woman behind the counter said she would have to talk to the manager and after 10 minutes of waiting the manager says that they talked to their headquarters that they would not honor his withdrawal. They gave us the card of the person from headquarters, whom I should call . I'm thinking is this for real ! This is a bank that has his hard earned money tied up with . They have no right to not give this man a certified check of his own money as he gave the representative verbal authorization to make the check out to my name. I told them they would be at fault as we were in risk of losing 40K, if I did not have that certified check as he had already given them verbal authorization and we were at the bank... my father whom owns that frk'n account ! We left dejected, I went back to work, 3.5 hrs later they called him back at home saying that they apologized and that the certified check was ready and waiting. My father called me at work and told me what they had done for him. THIS IS JUST WRONG !!!! Told my father he should look at another Credit Union that has his back - NOTE: Forgot to mention at the Credit Union they told my dad and I they could not give me a certified check , but he could write me a check ...LoL! I could not be more impressed with PremierOne CU or the Relationship Officer, Erik Woodruff with whom I worked with directly. Not only were their rates better than three competing CU's...but also, their customer service was top quality. Buying my first car was stressful in itself, but Erik made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the loan process. He was able to quickly get me pre-approved within hours, and I purchased my dream car the SAME DAY! Talk about easy. Erik was available to answer my numerous calls and emails (sorry Erik!) and was a pleasure to work with. This bank is the worst... Poor customer and unreliable staff.. I have been waiting over a week to receive a new debit card just to find out that they hadn't even sent it out yet. Now I have to go out if town with no debit card or hope that it get here before I leave because their next day service really isn't next day its really a two/three day service.. SMH... Terrible customer service. Every time I call the person has an attitude. Very condescending. They offer a bunch of discount tickets, which is a main perk of being a member. However the only times I have tried to purchase tickets, they don't work. The Disneyland tickets and Winchester Mystery Tickets don't work. I email to tell them, and they email back saying sorry, but leave the broken links and outdated information on their site. Overall, very unprofessional. Lots of banks to chose from. I went in today on my lunch this is not the credit union I do my normal banking with. There was a line, that's fine that's to be expected. But the people working there didn't even acknowledge anyone that was walking in. They were slow while helping customers. I don't expect them to rush through people but you can def pick up the pace. I will not return to this credit union and I will stick to my own that has friendly efficient service. read more
