I've been wanting to come check this place out for a while and finally came on a random Thursday afternoon. They have their own parking lot which is nice. The shop was bigger than I thought since there is an open area right when you walk in with a self-order kiosk and also an ordering counter. There was a large room in the back with lots of seating options. There was only one person working there and there was a good flow of customers so she did seem a little overwhelmed. We got the special of that time the Sakura and Matcha swirl with all the fixings and it was so creamy, fragrant, and delicious! You can definitely taste the high quality ingredients which matches their pricing. They do offer lots of other items including drinks and a cool matcha bear too. Been coming here for a long time. Usually once a month. Bummer to see the price increase since the menu was already on the pricier side, but happy to see the membership reward program. $5 off for every $100 spent if I understand it correctly. I saw a sign the says the membership program replaced the old VIP card. I've been coming here for years but never heard of the VIP card. No idea what it is and I feel like I missed out. Anything with ice cream is generally a safe choice here. I always go for the seasonal swirl flavor, and it's consistently good. The bear is cute for photos, but beyond that, it's nothing special and not really worth the extra cost in my opinion. The only bad thing I've had here was one of their matcha lattes. It was disappointing enough that I haven't ordered a drink here since. They have a few tables inside, and it can get pretty busy. If you dine in, you'll constantly see people trying to use the restroom without realizing it requires a password. When it's packed, I usually just take my order to my car. My favorite cafe for anything matcha! I have tried their soft serve before which is always consistent. This last time I got their latte and wow it was the perfect drink! If you're allergic to dairy, I suggest getting the iced matcha drink. They can't substitute for milk alternatives, so that's a good option. Boba gets all the attention online and in this town, but I have to admit the matcha drinks here are better than all of the boba places in town with the exception of Chi Cha San Chen. I get so excited to come here, and every single time I come I get super indecisive and overwhelmed by all the terminology and decisions in the menu. The terms are just 1 word modifiers that are Japanese that always leave me confused and I end up asking what they all mean and forget to retain what they tell me by the time they go through them all lol. Best matcha I've ever had: period. I've been here once before and always try to come whenever I'm in the area. This location can be a bit hidden but it's in a shopping center behind an auto shop and next to a small theater. Parking can be limited, especially during the summer. It can be quite hard to find. Luckily, we found parking. The cafe has a contemporary vibe, with a few Japanese accents and decor hung around. My cousin and I took a minute to take a look at the menu. They have it posted on the side of the counter and some laminated by the wall counter. We decided to order using the tablet they have. We chose 4 items: the Mochi bumper w ice cream, with a mix of sesame ice cream, matcha cream, matcha bear, and the matcha chocolate cream. You are able to customize it anyway you like with toppings and substitute milk. My total came out to $41 including tip. The cafe had a few people inside, with some people periodically coming in every now and then. There is plenty of seating. During late spring, it can get really packed, to the point where you can't get a table. The server called out our number. She was very friendly and polite. Our drinks were ready in about 15 minutes. I was so excited for the matcha bear! It is made of actual matcha ice cream. I believe they make a mold out of it. The first sip was heavenly and out of the world. I enjoyed every single item. Every flavor I've tried has been really good. The space inside is bright, clean, and spacious, with plenty of seating, making it a good spot to catch up with friends. It's also a popular hangout spot for locals and tends to get crowded on weekends, but if you're lucky, you might snag a table. While the pricing isn't the cheapest, the quality of the matcha and desserts more than justifies it and I believe they handmade both mochi cakes in house as well.
