While visiting Prescott, I ate here for breakfast and dinner almost every day. It's my grand in laws favorite place and I got to know why. The decor is very Americana with a touch of old western. It's clean with many booth or table seating. The majority of patrons are retirees and veterans. The menu is huge with lots of comfort food favorites. This place is not trendy, it's wholesome and the portions are generous and food is fresh. For $10.95 I got an omelette loaded with spinach, mushrooms, bacon, and tomatoes. Plus choice of hash brown AND bread choice which included a delicious blueberry muffin. Such a deal! My choice of dinner was good. A full turkey dinner with cranberry sauce, mashed potato, stuffing, mixed veggies, and Parmesan toast. All less than $15. Don't forget their pie list! The lemon meringue was a little sweet, not too tart, and topped with a airy marshmallow layer. Overall this place is a local favorite and service is friendly. No stars if I was allowed. Horrible! Yes, I'm local. And also I am of early retirement age! As soon as you walk in the smell of week old or more urine hits your nose like a ton of bricks. Interior looks like something out of the 70's, carpet is worn out and stained like a murder scene in a mobster movie. Needless to say, I held my breath and high tailed out of there like a Kentucky Derby race horse on opening day! In hindsight, I should have seen the signs as we were pulling into the parking lot. A. All handicap parking and close spaces to the door were filled with disability accessories. B. Old people sitting on front bench with their walkers, canes and oxygen masks. C. We've eaten here a couple of times when we've gone through Prescott. Everyone has been friendly and helpful each time. This visit I ordered the salad bar. It included the lettuces and a big variety of various toppings. There was also a taco/nacho bar, three different soups, and frozen yogurt with various toppings. Everything looked and tasted fresh. It was unlimited trips for $14. My companions had the seniors grilled chicken dinner, and the half-sandwich with fries and salad bar. They both enjoyed their meals as well. The grilled chicken was a generous, moist and flavorful breast. The French fries were amazing...Hot, crispy, and nicely salted. All of us except one opted for the breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning and were able to enjoy quite the amount of foods available, and at the price it was such a steal ($11 at the time). Breakfast buffet - The buffet featured quite a lot and included but was not limited to chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, potatoes, ham, eggs (scrambled), fruit, pancakes and much much more. The quality of the buffet was great to say the least and we all really enjoyed everything we had. From the sausage to the scrambled eggs, homestyle potatoes and the biscuits and gravy..pretty great across the board. A friend had ordered from what I recall stuffed French toast with strawberries. Our waitress Jessica was friendly and helpful. She gave us good advise when ordering. I loved my Fish and shrimp meal. My sister had the Reuben sandwich and said it was the best she's ever had . My boyfriend and I just moved to Prescott from Tucson. We love to try new places. So, Prescott Junction was on our list, per the reviews. On 6/11/24 we went for dinner. First time (and last time) we will dine at PJs! I am not one to write a review, good or bad but this was one of the worst meals I have had since my dad cooked for us in high school, pretty scary. This was "Worst Cooks in America" worthy. SORRY. I had, tasteless, dry turkey with wet, soggy bread stuffing and, can't really describe the mashed potatoes... gummy. The soup / salad bar was about a 3 out of 10. I really only ate my parm toast & salad. My boyfriend got meatloaf... it's not worth defining his take on his meal but he barely scratched the surface before he gave up. And... he'll almost power through anything without complaint. That's saying something. The only reason I gave it one star is because we liked Destini, our waitress and the hostess. Paying $49.44 ($8.00 tip) for an almost completely inedible meal, was troubling. If it had just been ok, I wouldn't have minded but literally... I'll stop. Oh, when the hostess asked us how everything was, after a very long pause, we told her. She explained the cook was new and probably wouldn't be there much longer. Huh, OK??? I'm not trying to be rude, just honest about our "one time" experience. So happy we had our Mother's Day brunch after church here at Prescott Junction. Arrived around noon on Sunday..no waiting...Grand kids and daughter & hubby came from Flagstaff with us. I knew they had a little buffet the 12 & 13 yr old would love. Breakfast had all their hearts desire, (lunch buffet is at 1pm if looking for Taco Bar) including made to order pancakes, biscuits & gravy, fruits and granola..Desert Bar included for $14. This place has definitely seen better days! The booth seats were torn and the carpet old and dank. One booth the wooden paneling was falling off. The salad bar is incredibly old and tired and not well replenished. They had a deal on their menu where you can get a half sandwich and fries and you can add the salad bar! Unfortunately the people I was dining with didn't either read the menu correctly or were taken for a ride! They were charged $17 for a lousy half sandwich and fries plus $6 for the tired salad bar! Had lunch here last weekend with the family and everything was excellent except for the banana cream pie sadly. Sandwiches, burgers, coconut and key lime pie all great, but the banana cream seemed defrosted because the crust was like sawdust. The whip cream had a really good flavor but the rest was mush that tasted like banana pudding with sawdust and a hint of freezer burn. Darn! We'll be back to try other menu options. Service was also excellent but as we were leaving an employee hanging out back in his car decided to start raising his voice at another employee as he entered, He got louder and louder as said "you're a little b!t@h" over and over. First time here. Had the prime rib philly sandwich special with fries. It was served on a baguette with pepers, onions and ajous. It was better than expected. Fries had a good crunch as did the bread. Plenty of prime rib as well. Place is clean and service good. Lots of locals and not a chain. read more

Stopped in for breakfast yesterday. I had the cinnamon roll French toast. I've had it at few other restaurants, but this dish was the best at Prescott Junction. It's a cinnamon roll cut into three slices, then used as the bread for French toast. It came with a huge glob of cream cheese icing on top, unlike the skimpy amounts I've had elsewhere. When the server brought it out to me, she told me to enjoy my dessert. I certainly did. The eggs were a nice soft scramble, and the sausage patties were good too. If I find myself in Prescott for breakfast again, I won't hesitate to make a return visit. read more

We had a 2 yo with us and we didn't need or want for anything for where our 2 yo was concerned or for us! Thank you Rachelle! The place is well kept and very clean. Pandemic protocols is place and used. The menu was pretty and full of choices and pictures. If you can't find something to suite yourself taste buds...well, you're just too picky. The food was delicious! We don't usually do dessert but we did today and it was yummy! Order consisted of California turkey sandwich, chicken fried steak, chicken quesadilla and a veggie melt. Then there was dessert! Hot fudge sundae, chocolate cream pie and coconut cream pie. Oh man!!! Yummy!!! The ONLY negative to our visit...the teas. Raspberry and regular iced tea. I called up Prescott Junction to place an order. They gave me a total of $34+. It should have been under $30 with tax. I asked for the individual prices, which were about 15% higher than online. They tried to lie and tell me the online prices were for senior pricing. When I looked at the senior pricing it was even lower. BLANTANT LIE!
