The lack of basic diagnostic tools--such as a thermal imaging camera--was already concerning, but what followed is why I'm leaving a negative review. Payment by credit card was not accepted and this was not disclosed beforehand, so I was required to pay via Venmo. I eventually received a receipt from a personal Gmail account, which felt unprofessional. When I asked for a written explanation of the issue, I was ignored for some time and ultimately received a hostile response (along with a refund) stating that he didn't have time to deal with me. I don't believe my request warranted that kind of reaction. TL;DR: For a very simple job, this may be an affordable option if you're comfortable paying cash/Venmo and don't expect much professionalism. For anything more complex--or if you value clear communication and professional conduct--I'd look elsewhere.
