i usually like to call for 2-3 quotes but only did 1 with with Renato and he seem like a fair straight shooter with reasonable prices so i just went with him. got my water heater replaced, he prompted me that my pipes have not been in compliant since i bought my condo, also recommended to install automatic shut off valve. all the recommendations makes sense so i went with him. he was out the next day and finished job same day. no issues so far so would recommend him if you are looking for a good plumber who knows what he's doing. i got my property inspected as a new unit and the house inspector did not make any comment on the proper pipe that should be installed on a water heater. read more

I requested residential boiler service for a unit that hadn't been serviced in years In a 2-family that I recently purchased. Renato came out with a crew to assess the situation. Among other things, the original installer had neglected to put a drain in the Hartford loop. His crew installed the new drain, replaced the boiler drain, cleaned out the boiler and answered my questions about maintenance going forward. The work they did was good but the clean up after was not wonderful. The value was fair but would have been better if they brought their own drain bucket, drop cloth, etc. I would use them again but would first make sure they understand my expectations for leaving the site as clean as when they arrive. read more

I woke up to a water heater that was pouring water out from the bottom into my basement. After sending a project request out via Yelp, Buschi was the first to respond and within the hour was able to confirm that we needed a new water heater. They were able to source a new unit, remove my old one, install a new water heater (including custom venting via pvc pipe) within 5 hours of the initial request. I didn't do a lot of diligence regarding pricing, given how fast they responded and came to visit the house, so I can't speak to how affordable vs. the market they are. Renato is the only plumber we will call going forward. Fair prices and quality work. Our house was built in late 1800s and still had a lot of original piping. A month ago, we called to have a tee replaced at our water main as it was extremely rusted and leaking- Renato/team came out and repaired same day. They also installed a new p trap on our AC air handler that was jerry rigged by the installer years ago. Last week we had an emergency, the original clean out in the basement completed rusted off and the main sewer drain was open in the basement, but not flooding. Renato/team came out same day and exposed the running trap. It was a MESS with holes throughout. Medium job turned into a large job very quickly. The team came back the next day and jackhammered our basement floor to expose the entire drain underneath. They also replaced the stack in the basement up to the first floor, and removed the old soapstone sink/lead pipes and replaced with pvc. We are very impressed with Renato and his team. A technician from a larger HVAC/plumbing company came in earlier that day and couldn't figure our the issue. Renato was able to spot the problem! They figured out the problem immediately, found a creative way to secure the flange without the normal plywood underneath it, and charged a very reasonable amount. Woke up Sunday morning, on a long Holiday weekend, with our 10 year old Rinnai on demand hot water heater out of commission, leaking water out of the bottom. I reluctantly began the process of calling a bunch of plumbers to see who could come out and have a look. Only one plumber called me back, Renato, from Bushi plumbing. He listened to my explanation of the situation, looked at a picture of the hot water heater I sent him, and recommended it would likely need to be replaced (given I hadn't had it serviced once over the past ten years, my bad!) He also explained all the supply houses were closed, and the soonest he could be out was Monday (the following day, which was also a holiday BTW). He came out on Monday, and confirmed the unit was beyond repair. He sourced a replacement unit, an actual upgrade to what we had, and had it installed and running within hours. While he was here, he also found the source of a gas leak we've had for years (other plumbers told me it was mold,) and replaced a ten foot section of pipe that had been slowly leaking and ready to burst. We were quoted a rate but the job was not done accordingly. We were still charged the quoted amount although the material that was supposedly the main cost was never used. They also demanded that we zelle them the money without giving out an invoice, telling us that invoice would come after we paid. I'd give this company 10/5 stars! I highly recommend this company! They are fast, reliable, professional and an excellent plumping company. This past weekend, New England had extreme cold Below 0 degrees for 2 days. This caused our water pipe to freeze and burst and the fire department came to shut off our water. we had to repair our pipe and we called so many plumping companies and they ended up being already booked out several days into the week because other multiple homes had pipes bursting and other pipe/plumbing issues from the extreme cold as well. My boyfriend and i were stressed because we had no water for over 24 hrs and every plumbing company we called were booked for the day and several days out of the week. no one had availability to repair our broken pipe until I called Bushi Plumbing. they were able to come to my home the same day and fixed our broken pipe.
