Finding slices of pizza have become a bit easier in San Francisco currently with more pizzerias offering slices. Now you can try many different variations of pizza by ordering it customized to your liking. Some carry many varitiations of pizza combinations. Here you will find slices called Norty's which has potato and also the Morgan with mushroom and eggplant. Another slice is called Widow Maker which has salami and sausage. Although this place is called the Presidio Pizza Company is located in Lower Pacific Heights ( It is like Bernal Heights Pizza is located in Dolores Heights). On a Winter stroll through Lower Pacific Heights just a few blocks away from Presidio Heights there is a place where they sell hella different cheesy pizza slices in SF. This places also sells sandwiches and chicken wings along craft beer and wine. I had to try their cheese slice to set the tone for there rest of the slices. The cheese slice was thin and a bit cheesy. Then I got the mushroom slice which was a bit tasty and not too saucy. A great place to grab a slice on Divisadero street. Stopped into Presidio Pizza on Divisadero for a quick lunch and it did the job. The pizza itself is solid and nothing that's going to blow your mind, but a respectable slice when you're in the neighborhood and need something fast. My main gripe was the bread. It had none of that satisfying crunch I look for felt overly dense and a little doughy, like it didn't quite finish in the oven. For a pizza spot, the crust is kind of the whole deal, so that's hard to overlook. Service was functional but the staff felt pretty indifferent. No hostility, just zero warmth, the kind of vibe where you feel like you're inconveniencing them by being there. Still, the price point is fair and it's a convenient spot if you're nearby and not looking for a full sit-down experience. This place is an absolute shell of what it used to be. You can tell it's been sold to people who have never run a successful restaurant in their lives the minute you walk in. The cold pizza in the glass case looks about as edible as Gino's pizza rolls fresh out of the freezer. Never know how you'll find something new. I was making multiple visits to visit an ailing friend and noticed this corner restaurant. One mid-afternoon, I looked in and saw a sign stating they sell slices. Walking in, I saw a glass counter with eight or nine varieties available. After looking and reading the respective sign descriptions, I decided to get two slices to bring home since I'd already eaten lunch. Found this place near the kid's new apartment as we were moving her in to start her second year of college. Easy walk and we wanted pizza. I was a bit skeptical due to the ratings on Yelp, but the kid wanted to try it. We decided to get sliced of what we wanted to try, instead of a pizza to share. I wanted the mushroom slice and while I was checking out the other choices, the kid pointed out the Bianca (Ricotta, Mozzarella, Garlic, And Pesto). Sounded so good we each ordered a slice. The wife also had the Rudy's Pizza (Shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, salami, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions.) The wife ordered the romaine and kale salad for us to share. It was a small and ended up being pretty good size and was perfect for the three of us and our slices of pizza. The server took our order at the counter and quickly brought us our drinks as soon as we sat down. The salad came out quickly as well. The salad and dressing were very good with nice, fresh ingredients. The slices were heated up in the pizza oven and came out piping hot. Burn the roof of your mouth hot. Awesome! They were all delicious. Next time I would order one slice and then order another slice, so the second slice would be as hot as the first one. The server and others were very attentive and checked on us several times to make sure all was good. When you walk in, there are a good amount of seating area for you to sit in if you choose the option dining in. If you want a glass of water, make sure to ask the cashier because water is not self serviced. Got 3 slice of pizza from a list of selection. Grabbed Grandpa pizza with sausage, grandpa pizza without sausage, and Hawaiian pizza. Hawaiian pizza has a good amount of pineapple and cheese blended into the slice. As the slice was preheated, the slice has a nice cheese pull, but due to the thinness of the pizza, the crust is not very crunchy and instead more leaning toward the hard side. Bottom of the pizza has a bit of burnt resulting in the burnt charcoal taste being added onto the slice. Grandpa pizza with sausage and grandpa pizza without sausage in comparison to the Hawaiian pizza has more breading to it giving the feeling of eating bread with cheese, tomato sauce, pepperoni, and sausages added on top of it. Other customers ordered 2 slices after me with another cashier and they got their slices faster than me. The cashier who serviced me apparently left my pizza in the oven to reheat too long and decided not to care and still give it to me. I agree with the comments that there is one guy behind the counter with a frizzy pony tail and a cap that is very unfriendly and not even trying to be customer oriented. They may have decent pizza if it was handled by someone else, but I will never know because this experience was so terrible, I will not give it a second chance. I observed that some of the staff seemed more focused on watching the football game and chatting with friends at the counter, rather than preparing orders. I patiently waited, but eventually had to speak up, as my break was nearly over. While the staff did apologize, I was left with very little time to actually enjoy my meal. A rushed lunch just isn't the same experience I've come to expect from Presidio. I'm sharing this not to complain for the sake of it, but because I really like your food and service most of the time. Due to this experience I will most likely not be coming back to Presidio Pizza as often or at all. Half Buffalo Chicken, Half Rudy, and an order of calamari. The Buffalo chicken tasted like bread topped with buffalo sauce. Hardly any other toppings, no cheese... how is this pizza? The Rudy half was just okay, but that's comparing it to the Buffalo, so that's not really a compliment. The calamari tastes like microwaved rubber bands, but our 18 month old had a few pieces (she's also tried to eat dog food, so that's not a compliment either). Presidio Pizza is located in the Lower Pacific Heights area. Parking is street parking, so it may be hit or miss - I had to park almost 2 blocks over, then walk over at night. They are opened until 10 PM most nights, and on weekends between 12 AM - 3 AM, depending on the day. I stopped here when I was in the area because their pizzas looked good on their photos and I noticed that they sell by the slice, instead of having to get a whole pizza. I did not know that the slices were for whatever was available behind the glass display case and then they heat it back up. I originally wanted their Bianca slice because I did not really want meat at the time, but I ended up getting a slice of pepperoni pizza because my first choice that I had my eyes on was not in the display and I could not finish a whole pizza. Presidio Pizza has dethroned my favorite cheese slice in the bay area (previously slice house.) As long as you're into a Neapolitan/NY style thin crust pizza, you will love it!!! We had it toasted a little extra for the PERFECT crunch. The cheese was perfectly melty and tasty. We've also tried the mushroom, BBQ chicken, and the frankie -- and they're also all amazing. But the cheese pizza is fire!!! Besides the pizza, they have a cute and clean little dining area (both inside and outside.) they also have TVs, draft beer, and craft beers in cans/bottles. But the REAL STAR of the show is OMAR!!!! This young man gives the best customer service. He is so kind, moves super fast, engaging, and genuinely cares about your experience! He's very smart too!! Food here has gone downhill since the place opened. Counter service is hit or miss. Last two times I was in, I walked out with slices that were reheated to the point of being cardboard. If you get lucky and the pie is fresh, it's okay but reheating an old, dried up slice seems to be the norm these days. It takes a lot of foot traffic to keep 8 or so pies fresh all day long. As a born & raised NYer, this spot had been my go-to for slices. These days, it's off to haight street if I want a slice. In this era of big box franchise pizza joints, all working to underbid their competitors on price, it sometimes seems strange how we all seem to forget what good pizza is supposed to taste like. On a recent visit to the north end of town, I ducked in here with some friends (OK, we sat outside in the makeshift sidewalk cafe seating with legit Home Depot corrugated roof), ordered up a Widowmaker, a Romaine & Kale salad, and *you know that guy who always says I want a sandwich and then eats "just a slice or two" anyway*? Yeah, he ordered the Caprese. Took a little while to come to the table, but gave us a chance to talk and enjoy an unseasonably warm day on Divisadero. The pizza had that nice chew to the crust, a zing in the sauce, and it didn't seem like (as with other places named after small rectangular game pieces with dots on them) the pizza preparer had money taken out of their paycheck if they put too much cheese or toppings on the pie. Delicious all around, and --just to counter *that guy with the sandwich*-- I asked for a bite. I like the Caprese sandwich, but was a little dry for me. I know, I'm strange like that. The caesar was straightforward, but nothing out of the ordinary. Stick with the pie, I say, and... to beat a tired college comparison to death about pizza and... and.. gee, I don't remember what it was, but it ended, "Even when it's bad-- it's still good." I love this place! I came here recently with my co-workers for lunch and the experience was awesome. It is very clean and has a welcoming environment. There are two large TVs for entertainment and an array of options including pizzas, pastas, salads, burgers, and more. We all had the Mediterranean salad which was fresh and delicious, and three different slices: The Mushroom, BBQ Chicken, and The Windy City - all great choices. They also have a bunch of beers on tap if you want to enjoy a drink. The quality of the food was amazing, service was excellent, and workers were extremely nice. We will be returning soon! read more

This was a pick up order ordered in the morning for the afternoon. I will say that I bought this pizza 3 months ago and thinking this was the best pizza ever. Come earlier last week I made plans to buy this again and I had been anticipating it for a moment only to be disappointed. The quality has dropped significantly since 3 months ago. The pizza is uncut unevenly and there is a lot less toppings. The pizza is $38 dollars and there's noticeably large spots of just cheese. September's was borderline pushing it for costs but this was such a rip off today. Maybe it was not tipping on a pick-up order?
