Chicken Parmesan was one of the best we have ever had. The chicken pot was on point too! Service and food were excellent.

We arrived early for our 6pm reservation this Saturday and to my surprise the place was completely empty. We ordered drinks- a dirty Tito's martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, a beer, and old fashioned. Unfortunately they were out of olives completely so a cold coor's light was swapped out. We got the truffle fries and the medi dip-both delicious. For entrees we got the chicken sandwich, farmer's salad and the salmon BLT. Minus the salmon being overcooked and dry, the food was a hit. Finished off with the brownie. Although I didn't personally eat any because I was stuffed by that point, it looked tasty. Service was attentive and timely. The reason for 3 stars is not having olives and overcooking fish- for a $200 dinner I expect those things. I'll be back though. read more

Food selection was pretty good - a little expensive which affected my choice - we had 6 in our party and we selected a wide range of entrees - I got a hamburger which unfortunately had really no flavor the bun was the best part.....the chips were really good and I enjoyed those, a nice change from fries and these were real potato chips not a Lays bagged chip....on the whole at our table we had a pasta dish, salmon plate, cheese macaroni and hamburger dinners. Unfortunately our waitress was just not worried about remembering to bring items we had ordered our appetizer just seemed to be forgotten after reminding them three to four times.....we had to ask several times for different things.......was asked to have no salt on burger (diet related) came fully loaded with salt.....but the worst thing over all was all of our dinners came out cold.....cold macaroni and cheese yuck - cold hamburger I'm sure affected the taste......for the cost of this dinner I really expected my dinner to come out hot or even warm..... The restaurant was also freezing cold outside was warmer then inside as they had lantern heaters ........the manager who was very nice turned down the air when asked about the temperature in the restaurant .....might try again but for lunch. read more

Even though they have higher prices I have never been disappointed in the food! Service is hit or miss, most of the staff seems like high school or college students. Love the different foods they have to offer. The Ancient Grain Rice bowl with steak is one of my favorites! read more

The food is 5/5. Burger - great. Chicken sandwich - great. The Service is 4/5 (but I understand they just opened). Bad? Very expensive. An appetizer, two sandwiches, and two glasses of wine will you get you just shy of $100. A lot of money for that food. Also, lacking in options for gluten-free. read more

First - a few things management can work on is when there are only 2 tables sat in your establishment, please explain to the hostesses that don't know, that they can sit us on the patio out of the sun and at the table we prefer when not a soul is on the patio. I realize it's your slow time and no one is "assigned" to a certain table, but they can easily walk a few more steps to the table out of the sun to serve us. When I was a waitress many years ago, I would have walked anywhere to have a table and make money, rather than standing around doing absolutely nothing and not making anything. You are in a small town, do better or you won't be around long and bring back the veggie burger! You need some veggie options and you got rid of one of the best. HOWEVER, because it was gone we ordered the Spicy Rigatoni without Prosciutto, and it was AMAZING! It might be new because I don't remember seeing it on the menu, in clearfork either. It was AMAZING! Love, love, love and the main reason I am giving this review 5 stars. You did a great job with that sauce but I would suggest making it without meat for a certain price and charging extra for chicken, salmon, prosciutto, etc. for the vegetarians since the menu doesn't offer much for us. We are very disappointed with Press Cafe in Aledo. We live out of state and are visiting our children. They wanted to take us there for Mother's Day. My son called earlier in the week about a reservation and was told they don't take reservations. So he asked about call ahead and we were told the same thing, we don't take call ahead. So we arrived today and was told that we needed a reservation. I explained that we had called this week and were told no we don't take them and I explained that we asked about call ahead and was told the same thing. So the hostess just kept smiling the whole time questioning if we called that location. I said yes we did. No manager came over to see what was going on even though she was looking for help from someone. Another family had the same thing happen to them! This is very poor customer service and I hope ya'll can figure out if you're a reservation only restaurant or what you are. read more

This restaurant seems extremely overrated and was very overpriced. The food made my husband physically sick. The ambiance was terrible, very stuck up crowd here that eye judges people if they don't look the same as them. The service was terribly slow, we never even got refills on our drinks until the end. First time my order was wrong, the manager apologized. Today I place an order to go at 10:35 and after waiting for my order for 10 minutes the manager said that I needed to wait until 11:00 to get my order as it was not lunch time yet. To be honest, stay away from press cafe in Aledo. FW is better. read more

Press is a much needed establishment in Aledo! The egg in a hole is a great brunch choice and the chicken parm is my go to for dinner. While you are there, you HAVE to get the whipped ricotta dip. It is heavenly! read more

Time.....we arrived, party of 9, tues night 6p. Seated. Dinner served at 8p. Food was good and hot. Wait staff pleasant and attentive. But, tables of 4 came and went before we were served. Y'all, I have been here twice and the hostesses are terrible, not friendly and not helpful. Also, they offer the option to make a reservation online through their website but they don't see it on their end so they don't honor it. Just set expectations low for a welcoming atmosphere. read more

We had a horrible experience at the Press Cafe in Aledo. We love the location in Clearfork but live close to Aledo so decided to try it. We had 6:00pm reservations on a Wednesday. Arrived a few minutes early and were promptly seated. The hostess took our drink order. About 20mins went by and no one had been back. The hostess came back and apparently apologized. She took our food order. Another 10mins went by and she finally brought water. She said she would check on the wine we ordered. Another 10mins or so went by and our appetizer arrived, still no wine. More apologies. A Manager came by and apologized but still no wine. Eventually our food arrived. About another 10mins after our food the glass of wine I ordered arrived. We were about done eating by then. So then we sat waiting for the check. I was about to put some cash and just leave when the Manager came back with out ticket. He didn't even speak. He saw the look on our faces and just sat there check down and walked away. It was a ridiculous experience! We had reservations so it wasn't like we just showed up. And no one else seemed to be having the same issue. The food was good at least. read more
