Press has executed my dry cleaning well the 2 times I used them. With the app, you are able to schedule pickup and dropoff. As well, it is a little pricier than doing it all yourself... and by doing it yourself, I mean dropping it off somewhere. However, in a city where traffic is beginning to ramp up, I don't mind the extra 20% on top of a $5 or $6 order. read more

I came into town last week for what I was expecting to be a 3 day trip. I had two suits and a few civilian outfits with me. Our clients "strongly encouraged" we extend our trip. This ultimately meant I needed to figure out how to get my laundry done and needed to find a dry cleaner for the suits and shirts. I searched googled and yelp for a cleaner who could do both. I found Press on here, downloaded their app and placed my order. They sent me a text when their driver was on their way and I put in the instructions that they should call me when they were there so I could come down and give them my belongings. I only had my hotel plastic bag and asked the driver if he had anything better/more secure that I could put my clothes in. Sure enough, he had some fancy garment type bags with him. 24 hours later I received another text that my items were on their way back to me. I was very pleased with the service and the efficiency of the app. This is the kind of quality and professionalism I am used to in New York City. I am happy that the good people of Austin are able to provide the same type of professionalism for their out of town guests. These guys have AMAZING prices! They also pickup orders on Sunday! This is my first order. Their delivery person picked up my two blazers, wool Peddicoat, and two silk corsets at noon today ( Sunday). The dry cleaned items Are scheduled to be delivered to me between 8 AM and 10 AM on Tuesday. I am so excited to see the finished product! I will keep everyone posted on how they turn out!! read more

I suspect management changed hands because I had a great experience the first few times and then it was awful. They ruined a lace cocktail dress by washing, instead of dry cleaning. The label clearly read dry clean only, in case it wasn't obvious not to put Vera Wang in a washing machine. It came back frayed and shrunken. I reported this, then went back and forth for weeks providing pictures and claims forms. Then, they just stopped responding to me. Terrible service. read more

I used this company twice. The first time the experience was fine, except for they gave me someone else's clothes and had to call/text me to come back and give me the correct clothes. The second time is was not good at all. If you try and reach them, you can forget it. I needed to change a delivery time because I had a sudden change of schedule and had to go out of town, so they would have just left a bag of laundry sitting on my door step. I used every possible method to get a hold of someone - calls, texts, emails - literally probably 10 attempts and I never got anyone. The laundry was delivered at some point. I had to contact a neighbor to go and get the bag off my porch. That was December 2020, I never did get a return call, text, or email. I'd find someone else. I actually found that Spin Zone Laundry (the S. Congress location) was a heck of a bargain, excellent communication, and easy to use and was a great alternative to Press. read more

I haven't stopped raving about Press to my friends since I used it for the first time last month. Going to the dry cleaner is a pain for me between rushing there before or after work, or on a lunch break, and then having to go back for a 2 minute pick up several days later. Press provides a unique, affordable, and efficient solution to the annoyance that is dry-cleaning: an easy-to-use phone app. You can book a pick-up and drop-off time that is convenient for you--whether that be at the crack of dawn or right before you hit the sack. My couriers arrived right on time for pick-up and drop-off, and made sure to tell me when they were on their way. They brought a nice bag to pick the items up, and returned them in a nice suit bag as well. The prices, SURPRISINGLY, are not exorbitant when compared with normal dry-cleaning--they're actually pretty much the same. You don't need to tip your courier--they are paid. (This is according to advice I received from the help desk when I called.) read more

Press is now our dry cleaner exclusively. I used Press when we needed some very important garments laundered on short notice when no other dry cleaner was open. I made a special request through the app, everything was handled perfectly, and we got them back in just over the 24 hrs promised. Since then, my husband has used them to launder his shirts a few times. Loves it. And finally, I sent couch cushion covers while I was out of town. Pick up and drop off was a breeze! Press has been reliable on their scheduled pick up and deliveries. My clothes are neatly folded. I'm giving them 3 stars due to the person delivering my clean clothes. Lately it's a woman who has her small child bring my clothes to my 2nd floor door. Today the child whined and dragged my garment bag through dirt. read more

I was in town and needed some suits dry cleaned as quickly as possible! Press picked up my suits from the hotel and got it back to me in less then 48 hours. They guarantee drop off before 10am but I had a meeting at 9:30..after reaching out and letting them know.. they got my clothes to me at 9! Press is so convenient and affordable! I get my clothes picked up and dropped off from my office downtown. The communication is spot on and the turnaround is so quick! Once, I had a dress come back that still had a stain on it but they were able to take it back and get the stain out for free. I've also had multiple winter coats washed and come back in perfect condition. Love the customer support as well! Ruined $2100 worth of clothing. They asked if they could try to repair them and failed to pick them up the first time. Once they "repaired" them, the sweaters were even more damaged. He sent me a claims form to file, and weeks later, he emails me asking if he could try to repair them AGAIN. I say no, I want reimbursement, and three days later, he emails to ask me to look at the sweaters because he tried to repair them. Also, he stated that he could refund me UP TO 10x the cleaning cost of each damaged item. One of my sweaters cost $600, but the cleaning fee was 7 dollars. Meaning I would get UP TO $70 for a $600 sweater. If I'm lucky to get that much money back. read more

I'd give these guys zero stars, if I could. After several emails, chats and multiple chances to get it right, I still continue to get sloppily folded clothes, many of which I have to rewash because they are so wrinkled. My whites and light colored clothes come back grey because they don't appear to be separated. My husband's dress shirts come back so wrinkled he can't even wear them. Some of my clothes are permanently ruined, with snags, tears, and new stains that weren't there when the picked them up.They appear to have switched delivery drivers (the first one was absolutely terrible), but pick up an drops offs are still inconsistent, sloppy, and disorganized, and it's really just not worth it anymore. I canceled my service today, and won't go back. I am now gathering up all of the sloppily folded, completely wrinkled clothes from the last several deliveries to rewash, and replacing our now grey (once white) t-shirts. This has been a complete waste of money. No single item ever comes back folded the same way from one week to the next. It's a crap shoot each week when it comes to the state the clothes are going to be in when they are dropped off. Press simply does not care enough about your clothes to do the job right, consistently. A warning to anyone who wants to try this company; the first couple of washes will be pretty good. They go downhill fast from there. Save your money, and find another company to help you with your laundry. They simply aren't worth it. read more

Great service. I highly recommend. Very affordable. Everyone should try this. I'm disabled so this is perfect for me. It sucks that they don't have dry cleaning in my area, but that's a small price to pay for such a cool service. I wonder how to go about reviewing yelp for giving me a minimum length for a review? Amazing service! I really hope they expand and offer their services nationwide. I used them for a quick wash and fold. They got me my laundry in about 30 hours and had everything nicely folded and ready to be packed away. They picked up my clothes less than 5 minutes from me placing my order, and texted me when they dropped it off. Seriously amazing. Their customer service is fabulous and my clothes were returned to me super clean and perfectly folded. The one thing I wish was different was that my bras were stuff at the bottom of the bags, which caused them to become deformed. That's unfortunate because everything else went super smoothly, that's why I'm not subtracting any stars! I recommend you try them out and emphasize proper care for bras. I guess I should have told them to put my bras at the top of the bag? Not sure that's my job but it's a simple enough task. read more

I just received my clothes back after using Press for the first time and I'm definitely happy with their service. They were there to pick up my clothes right when they said they'd be and they dropped them off on schedule two days later. I really appreciate that they allow you to select the pickup window and delivery window. I've used other services before that require an AM delivery window if you set an AM pickup time, but I far prefer an AM pickup and PM delivery! read more
