This is a rare coffee spot that has great coffee AND great seating. The tables/chairs are clean, the interior is open, and the outdoor seating is also comfortable. I arrived on a mid Saturday morning and the inside seating was pact. I look at coffee spots as study spots, and grabbed a chair outside under the shade; which was not a sacrifice or an inferior spot! First time I came here I ordered a breakfast burrito only to find hair all up in the burrito. I showed the lady and she gave me money back with no offer to get me another. Okay fine, don't order burritos from a coffee place, got it. Next issue is the kombucha, I'm not sure if they have the tap on the keg set up right every time someone puts it in but it comes out foamy as shit. One time the girl offered the bottle in the case because their kombucha wasn't working then charged me an extra $1.50. Charging me more for the exact same thing it costs for kombucha that your machine messed up and not offering to fix it, is the worst customer service skills. Have been hooked since my first sip. I've visited Press at least 20 times since they've been open and absolutely dig it! The staff is super courteous and knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to remember my name and drink (although I switch it up all the time)! So yummy! I go to sleep at night already looking forward to picking up my coffee from Press in the morning. I love the cold brew, but sometimes get an americano to change it up. The staff is always friendly and chatty, which makes the environment feel welcoming. I also love that along with the regular sugar and cream you can put in your coffee yourself, they also have liquid agave nectar and simple syrup. I have stopped by in the afternoon as well to try their iced teas, and they did not disappoint! I especially loved the cucumber green tea, but it seems like they switch their flavors every day. Cashier was friendly. Wait time could have been shorter but barista didn't look too thrilled to be making anything and took his time to spread cream cheese on a bagel (14 minutes to be exact). The supporting staff could have been friendlier, maybe even smiled. They didn't call our names out when they finished our food and drinks, regardless that we were sitting close enough to hear them at least say it. The food as a 3/5, same as the drinks. We ordered a Press Burrito and a Bagel&Spread, both lacked something special. They taste like something I could have made at home and better. Chai Shaker wasn't great but not bad, both shakers needed a little extra sweetness. Overall, don't think I'll be coming back here during my visits to Arizona. Extra points for the aesthetically pleasing room! But not great on the food front. read more

I have been here a few times to meet folks for coffee, breakfast or just a quick stop to purchase coffee beans for a gift. Tried the avocado toast and iced tea recently on a Saturday morning at 10 AM. The place was very packed...it was the BFT (bacon, feta, tomato) half toast but they gave me the full toast instead. The bread was multigrain and it was seasoned well. Total bill was ~$10, not too bad. My friends enjoyed their coffees and had free refills on all of our drinks as well. Also, the decor is lovely and spacious. The staff is very friendly and even complimented me so that was a bonus as well. :) Will definitely be a go to spot especially since we live so close. read more

The atmosphere is elegant and modern, the breakfast menu is everything I love (the avocado toast is amazing!), and I love their pour over bar options (they have a delicious Sumatra Mandheling). When I saw this inviting structure as a new coffee shop in the plaza, I could not wait to venture inside with a friend. But to my disappointment, the "barista" was too busy talking to a coworker to welcome us when we walked in. I noticed exuberantly priced, small bags of coffee for sale. In regards to their brew bar, they have Kalita and Chemex; they happily describe each as well as what would best apply to the customer when you're checking out. The baristas are always friendly, and the coffee is great (both the daily drip coffee and the iced Nitro). I really like this Ocotillo location because the shopping center reminds me of Santa Barbara and it's a nice place to sit outside. read more

I've stopped in twice here so far and had different experiences both times. My first visit wasn't the greatest: I walked in and the girl taking orders seemed rather annoyed that I was there and gave a very dry greeting and asked what I'd like to drink. I ordered a nitro cold brew and she started making my drink while I cashed out. Once she handed me my drink that was it. No "have a good day" or "thanks for stopping in". I went to the coffee bar and added my own milk (which was minimal as there was barely room to add a lid let alone some cream). And that was that. The cold brew was nice and smooth, just a bit strong for my liking as I do enjoy cream with my coffee. My second visit was much better: the girl taking orders (a different one this time) was polite and upbeat. I ordered a vanilla americano and she asked if I'd like room for cream (thank you kind barista!!) and finished making my drink. She pointed out that straws and cream were on the coffee bar and told me to enjoy my day. The americano was perfectly sweet with a hint of vanilla flavor, and had just the right amount of room for cream. Overall, I'll definitely go back, but so far it seems hit or miss for service. If you just want co of coffee and a cool place to do homework or meet up with a friend, this place will do. read more

I was excited to try this place but very disappointed with service. We ordered our food, not only it took a long time but we were almost done with our food and haven't gotten our coffee yet. My daughter ordered Iced Vanilla Latte- nothing fancy but took forever. I'm not sure if Barista is new but overall, cashier and Barista (short cut/blonde hair) was NOT friendly at all. They both looked like they were having a bad day. Probably bec they're short staffed, but on a Sunday Morning? Lots of people standing waiting for drinks. I added 1-star bec the place has a good ambiance, very clean but really the Customer Service ruins it. Probably will try it again and hope for a different service.
