I've been wanting to do a juice detox and found Pressed for Juice in the Green Valley Ranch parking lot. Walked in and the place was nice and clean, and I was the only customer inside. Took a look at the menu and saw that they offered smoothies, acai bowls, salads, coffees and more. After looking at the menu, I told the employees that I was looking into doing a juice cleanse, and if they could help me out since it was my first time. The female employees looked at me and pointed to the menu and said there was my options and then proceeded to talk amongst themselves. Umm, ok. I nice run down of the juices would have been nice. Not a very good 1st impression for such a cool little juice place. Anyways, took the juices home and opened the tote and saw a paper that gave some directions and order to drink the juices. The Kitchen sink #11 was really hard to choke down. It tasted as it sounded. I couldn't finish it. The rest of the juices were pretty good. Except I wasn't able to drink the last juice, Clay Mate. It wasn't explained to me that it included BENTONITE CLAY. Mixed reviews on it's benefits, etc so I wasn't sure on drinking it, just my personal preference. Disappointing, since it was pricey over $60 with tax, which comes out to over $10 a juice, and I only able to drink 4 out of the 6 juices. I asked the cashier which ones she recommended and went with her choice of the Cookies & Cream. I was questionable at first- with flavors of date, coconut and almond how could it possibly resemble cookies & cream but boy was I wrong. This one deserves a 5/5 and definitely tasted like cookies and cream. Price point is a little steep, I paid $10 for this smoothie, but I expect to pay as much anytime I'm visiting a healthier spot. When I walked in, I was not acknowledged or welcomed but didn't think anything of it until 2 people at the door that came in 5 minutes after me and received a welcome in. Was a first for me here but I continued to look at the menu. The brunette looked at me, did not acknowledge me and walked straight into the back. The blonde finished an açaí bowl, saw me didn't acknowledge me, handed it a customer, then spoke with the customers that came in after. I grabbed the brunettes attention when she came back out and stated her coworker grabbed the customers they came in after me. Her excuse was there's one register (as if I'm not aware). I asked for my order, which was a vg milk protein shake. She asked if I wanted a straw which for a shake of course. She hand me the drink and I repeated I wanted as a protein shake. She starts making the drink and the blonde asked what was the order. I went to the register and informed her she took their order and acknowledged them even though I arrived before. She said they came in before me (they didn't). I informed her they didn't. Then her excuse was you were looking at the menu "babe". I'm 42 and old enough to be her mom. As someone that served at her age I knew 1. You acknowledge all that walk in and 2. you don't refer to customers as babe. They need a proper etiquette training on customer service. I've been to Pressed Juice in Aria, Alchemy over on the west side and several açaí bowl places like Nektar but I always come back to Pressed for Juice. They have a really great variety of different drinks ranging from nut milks to fresh juice just like any other place. What makes them different is the taste. It always tastes super fresh and well balanced. I've only been here once where the drinks tasted a little too sour but other than that it's always what is advertised. My favorite drink here is tied between "Threesome" and "Coco Crack" Their açaí bowls are TO DIE FOR. They're so flipping good. They get 5 stars alone for just amazing bowls. I love this location! Everyone is super friendly and every time I come the wait isn't long for their delicious juices and acai bowls. The interior is super clean. I saw Pressed For Juice on my friend's instagram and I needed to go because I love acai bowls! Pressed for Juice is in a beautiful plaza next to Cyclebar and the parking was ample. Walking into Pressed for Juice it's so modern and the interior is gorgeous! There were so many tables for people to sit and talk, of course right now the store was empty. I would love to come back to study here when it's safe to do so. Everything was spotless, it was very clean. Pressed for Juice definitely cares about their appearance. What I got was a small build your own acai bowl. It was made pretty quickly and we took it home. My bowl consists of the acai base and for toppings: chia seed pudding, strawberries, blueberries and bananas. I take off a star because the chia seed pudding was like water. It didn't even have a pudding consistency which was disappointing. It basically was an acai soup bowl at the point. The acai base was pretty good, but a little bit on the sweeter side. I was hoping that they were going to blend in house but it was already frozen and they just scooped the base into the bowl from the freezer. Besides, their acai bowls they have some juices and cleanses as well. A cute spot if you're craving acai bowls or some juice but definitely a bit pricey. read more

Since moving here from San Diego, I've been in the lookout for a good açaí bowl place. Especially some place close to home. Was recommended this place by my sister. Tucked away in the District shopping center-it did not disappoint. Fresh açaí with fresh fruit. I had the Brazilian bowl. As I watched a nice and effective young man made my order - I was impressed with how quickly and well made my bowl was. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in, and we didn't feel like we were inconveniencing anyone this time. My bowl was exactly how I wanted it! I got the medium create your own bowl and did an acai and vanilla coconut base. My toppings were strawberries, blueberries, banana, cacao nibs, cacao powder, bee pollen, honey, and granola. Pricey, but so worth it. I was initially turned onto this business because of Cyclebar next door who serves their beverages during the "Happy Hour Juice Ride" on Friday evening. I sampled the Nutslide, Green Milk, and Dos Leches. I loved these alternative milk drinks so much that I had to come by on my own time to buy myself a bottle of my own. I appreciate businesses like this who provide alternatives for me as I suffer from lactose intolerance. I have missed chocolate milk a lot and sometimes the store bought chocolate almond or soy milk doesn't cut it. So the Nutslide is now my favorite and a good way for me to get that chocolate milk taste that I have been missing. Their juices are also very fresh and refreshing. They're also right down the way from Cyclebar, where I get in a couple workouts a week. I find myself grabbing a drink here every couple of rides as a treat. Their bottled drinks are in high-quality glass containers that help to justify the $10 price tag, if knowing the details about cold-press, organic, non-HPP, etc doesn't sway you. For the quality and flavor, I'd say they're competitively priced but still remain a splurge for me. The Gin & Juice, Carrot Top, and Threesome are all humorously-named and well-balanced. They've also recently added smoothies and some light food items (acai bowls and salads). I don't know if I'll ever really be a regular here but I can appreciate what Pressed provides and make a point of popping in to try their new flavors and specialty products when I can. read more

Wow... I just went in here to order a cleanse and I was honestly super disappointed in the service I received. I told them I was looking to do a cleanse and the guy asked me if I know which one I wanted.. He didn't even give me any suggestions so I concluded that I had to do the research myself so I said I'll look on the website and you can help the person behind me. Then I said there is a coupon on their website for 8 juices for a special price and he said "I think that's a different company" when it's on their website! when I looked up their website, it wouldn't load because I had no service at all and asked him for the WiFi... he said he would give it to me but proceeded to make drinks while the girl was taking orders and taking more customers at the register without even asking if I needed help or was ready to order. I've only come to Pressed for Juice for the pre-bottled juices they have. I really appreciate how each juice is categorized and has the description of how it is supposed to help/be good for you. The quality of the ingredients is great and the juices always taste fresh. I like that they come in glass bottles, even though this makes them a little heavy for transport if you're buying a few at a time. I will say that buying juice like this can get a little expensive but I do think that the quality here is well worth the pricing. I tried messaging the owner and never got a response after yelp says it was read, so here is my review. I love the juice here but I didn't think it would be fair to leave a negative review when I think the feedback just needs to be addressed to an employee and not the establishment itself. Since the owner never responded to my concern, I guess feedback isn't important. I ordered a large açaí bowl (the greens) and already paid for it. When I received it, it was only filled maybe 3/4 of the way, I felt like it was the same size as the medium, so why pay the extra cost for it. Then I asked the worker about the avocado, and she said "oh yah, we're out". That should have been told before I ordered and paid, I would have changed my choice and ordered something else. When I asked her about it, she said yah we're out. She didn't understand my frustration so I left and asked my husband to talk to her. She gave a lot of attitude and didn't understand the issue or how to resolve the matter. She did give a $2 refund after my husband asked for it but was unhappy and giving dirty looks. That is the price of the same exact bowl without the avocado. I'm not hurting for $2, but it was more the principle, lack of informing the customer, and attitude that left me feeling the need to reach out and address the issue. I am not a local and every time I visit Las Vegas I make a trip out to purchase juice, but I won't be purchasing the açaí bowl. read more

The menu includes pre-bottled juices, smoothies, shots, shakes, coffees, acai bowls, salads, and snacks. It's definitely more than just bottled juices. The inside of the shop is clean. The design has bright colors for an inviting feel. There are tables opposite the bar area for those that want to dine in. I grabbed two bottled juices to go, Green Valley (#1) and Sweet Greens (#11). The juices were in glass bottles and they came in at $10 a piece. Both were very good, especially for vegetable juices. The Sweet Greens tasted less earthy than most green juices with the pineapple being the dominant flavor. This would be a good juice for someone that wants to sneak vegetables into their diet without tasting them. The Green Valley was more earthy and also delicious. I would order both of them again. Most of the juice places are serving their juices in glass bottles and I don't love it. I know, I know. If I was more of a tree hugger I would appreciate this, but it's not my preference. The glass bottle can be trickier to drink from. This isn't a knock in stars, just a note. They have a loyalty program that can used through their app. The program is a free drink after 10 purchases. I love this place. You feel healthier just walking in the door, lol. And it smells so good! They have a large variety of healthy drinks, most of which I've tried, and all of which were good. They have smoothies, which are yummy. I like to get the one that tastes like mint chocolate chip ice cream. And sometimes I have them use the chocolate milk (not really milk) in it- yummy! They have all sorts of juices (like the REAL kinds of juices, not the sugary, unhealthy juices you buy from grocery stores). They have packages that put some of the juices together into cleanses that you can choose depending on your comfort level with them- from beginner to experienced. They're great for helping you to get healthier and/or to lose weight, especially in a hurry (keep in mind that if you don't learn how to maintain the weight you've lost, this will be a temporary loss). They have a loyalty program, which I think is so important in a company today. So you can save some money by doing the cleanse packages (if that's something you decide you want to do), but even if you don't want to do cleanses, you can still be earning points towards free food through their loyalty program. They also have happy hour. I believe it's the last 2 hours they're open every day, and they give you a percent off, but double check with them on that because they may have changed it by the time you read this :) And they have some great desserts there, too, which are a great way to finish off the day, or reward yourself after a good workout or a productive day at work or just because (plus it's healthy so you're not undoing the work you just did). You'll find the day's desserts in the display case. But my absolute favorite food there is their açaí bowls- I have tried açaí bowls all over Las Vegas, and Pressed for Juice literally has the BEST açaí bowls in Vegas! The combination of ingredients they put into the actual açaí makes it different from other places (& unmistakable) and their toppings are better, too. I personally like to mix & match their bowls- I get the bowl with all the greens in the açaí and the toppings from the PB bowl. Just FYI, there is an up charge for this (which I don't understand because I'm already paying for the more expensive bowl and then getting the less expensive bowl's toppings), but it's yummy. It's hard to believe this is all vegetarian (or is it vegan?), but it is, and that's 1 of the best parts. I've been here on many instances to say this place is top notch! Employees are always welcoming, super friendly and helpful if you have questions ordering. Everything I've had here tasted great and is worth every penny. My favorite item here is their açaí bowls. They blend their açaí made to order and is soooo tasty. Just recently you have the option to build your own açaí bowls and they even added different bases other than açaí (see picture attached). Choose your five toppings, I personally recommend the cinnamon almond butter... Yum! I also tried the coconut vanilla base which was to die for. Definitely worth trying! My favorite juices are the #19 the nut slide & #18 dos leches. The nut slide I like because of the chocolate flavor. Dos leches is similar except without the chocolate. I've visited this establishment twice. The first time was great, but during my second visit, they had run out of peanut butter. Instead of informing me, they made the drink using whole almonds, which I only found out after returning to ask why the drink had almond bits in it. Not letting a paying customer know about such a change beforehand shows poor customer service. If you're out of an ingredient, it would be better to either notify the customer or head to the store to restock. No one wants tiny almond bits in their smoothie--it tasted like wood. read more
