Well... this was an enjoyable and yet horrible experience at the same time. How can that be!? Well, let me tell you! I came to pressed by a referral from a friend who knows the owner. I ate really bad this weekend for my birthday so I wanted to do a juice fast Tuesday to detox. I knew it would be difficult, but I had no clue how difficult it turkey would be. The store was clean and the staff was friendly. The young lady lead me to do the #1 detox and even let me sample all the juices in the detox to make sure I liked them! ( which I did )! She explained its 6 juices a day and if I had to eat, eat raw. Ok! No problem! The juices were yummy and I figured it would be easy. Three juices in I started to get a mild head ache. I was due for my 4th at 8pm but the headache turned to a migraine... a migraine so bad I couldn't sit up straight or even attempt to drink my other juices. My husband walked me to the bedroom where nausea began and I had to hide under my sheets! In the middle of the night I got a fever and my stomach became hard as a rock and hurt. I felt like death. This morning I woke up feeling like I was in a fog but no more crazy symptoms. I researched it and it's detox flu. When u do a juice detox some people experience these symptoms for two days then it goes away. Well, I couldn't stomach but one juice today so I ended up doing salads with no protein and raw veggies as a snack. Followed by a light 30 minute workout to sweat a bit. Then a light dinner. I feel great and I wish I could have gone longer on the fast. But with a busy work schedule I was afraid to be hard down on a work day. The customer service was great, the juices tasted amazing, the detox works! What more can I say! I had a great and self inflicted horrible experience! Definite worth a shot! Some people can go three- seven days... some one day.. either way it's great to jump start a diet or lose weight!! Out of all the juice places I've visited, this is now my go to! read more

This place is really convenient for me when I'm in the mood for an ice cold juice because it's located right next to CycleBar, where I take classes regularly. Every once in a while, I like to treat myself to a juice after a ride. Pressed For Juice has a modern feel to it, which I really like. There is plenty of seating and even a bar where you can sit and enjoy a flight of juice. The menu is really easy to read as it focuses mainly on the cold-pressed juices. I appreciate the fact that each juice has its own board with the specific ingredients listed as well as the health benefits and what it's good for. My favorite juice is the #4 Local Hottie. If you love citrus flavors, I would recommend this one! The cayenne gives it a little heat and it definitely helps to alleviate my allergies. The juices are worth the price you pay as they are raw, unpasturized, dairy free, gluten free, and non-GMO. All of the ingredients used are organic and locally grown too! If you're not into cold-pressed juices, Pressed For Juice also offers smoothies, shakes, shots, nitro cold brew, kombucha, açaí bowls, and an array of snacks. The chia seed puddings sound delicious. I'll have to make it a point to try one someday. Employees are friendly and are willing to answer any questions you may have. I wanted to do a juice fast (or cleanse) after the holidays and NFL playoff games. I wasn't eating healthy very much and was just feeling "blah". I was greeted as soon as I walked in and told them why I was there. The employees were happy to explain their juices and how the cleanse works. PFJ has three cleanses to choose from or you can build your own pack of 6 bottles. At $54.95 it is pretty pricey but still beats buying a juicer and all of the fruits and veggies and then having a mess when your done. I chose the #1 cleanse called the Amateur. They pack the bottles in a nice cooler bag for you to keep them cool until you get home. All of the juices were fresh and delicious. I made it through the day without any food which I was really surprised at. I will definitely return for more juices and to try their açaí bowls and healthy snacks which all looked great. read more

I've really enjoyed juicing since I can no longer work out . It's really hard at first ,but once you do it for a week you won't get as hungry . I only eat 1 meal and juice the rest . I'll do the green milk for breakfast , it's actually 2 servings so be careful , lots of sugar .. All there juices are 2 servings . The celery is great for a detox , it's alkaline so it will neutralize acid foods you eat . Also , it's Very good to keep your body at a lower ph . If you have an acidic body you can get sick easily . Drink lots of alkaline water too. I've really enjoyed all the juices from here and find them to flush you out as well . read more

They also provide samples if you're unsure about the flavor so don't be afraid to ask. If you like a fruity flavor go for the threesome, which consists of three fruits. If you're a coconut type of person try their coco crack! The flavor is so pungent and potent. I do like their Green party if you want more of the traditional cleansing juice. Each juice ranges form $10-15 which is quite pricey, but I can assure you it is worth the splurge. I have only tried their P&B bowl which is the typical acai bowl with peanut butter. The acai itself was at the perfect amount of sweetness. Not too tart or sweet. The topping was fresh and most importantly the portion of the bowl was even. This place is absolutely top notch, but my only gripe with this place is the price. Getting a juice, smoothie, or bowl is going to cost you an arm and a leg. That arm or leg that you worked out so hard and now need to replenish. The staff is very friendly and let you try anything. Sierra made me the absolute best açaí bowl I've ever had and I've had many of them from many different places. The place is always clean. I have been going to Pressed for Juice for several years and always get the Beet Juice #8 which has been very good, typically much better than the beet juice at Whole Foods and other juice stores. My last visit I purchased three bottles and the taste was off. The owner/manager quickly replied and replaced the three bottles free of charge. I hadn't had Pressed For Juice before until coming here and I completely fell in love! They let us sample every juice which I was thankful for as well as let us know that when we came in it was happy hour so our order would be 10% off. They also do a thing where they have 50% off their juices that are going to expire that day. There was their ginger shots on sale before expiring as well and she let us chase them with the nut milk blend. I tried apple cream pie and mudslide and those were both delicious! Super flavorful and sweet while being all natural. I can't wait to come back and try their smoothies as well as have another "fireball" shot, so good for inflammation with turmeric, orange, cayenne, and black pepper. read more

I was greeted right away and placed an order for a peanut butter smoothie with a #20 ( green milk base ). It tasted peanut buttery and not grassy which was good. It's kinda pricey though. The smoothie was $9 something and I'm not sure if I would make this place my regular spot for juices/smoothie, however I would still come back to try out their other goodies like the juices. I am a fan of Pressed for juice. Their ingredients are of high quality and I always feel so healthy eating the Acai bowls or sipping on that juice. My favorite is the PB&A bowl, which is the Peanut Butter and Acai bowl. The Acai here is so good, compared to Jamba Juice. The consistency of it is thick but soft. Then topped the acai goodness is the blueberries, strawberries, granola, cacao nibs, sliced bananas and peanut butter. The last time I got this, I replaced PB with almond butter. However, the staff forgot to put blueberries in my bowl. I also got the green acai bowl which has kale, spinach etc. Healthier than the PB&A, but not as delicious. I have also tried their juices before and liked them. Kind of pricey, but well worth the dent in my wallet. You can also sign up for a loyalty program with your phone number and each visit, you earn a point, in which 10 points will get you $10 off the next order. I am a fan. read more

Not gonna lie, a "green milk cold brew latte"sounds horrible and looks almost as bad. The green/brown color is not alluring in the slightest. BUT! It was exceptional I am always grabbing coffee from different places, and I have never encountered something this unique and delicious. Usually it's one or the other. And this one feels healthy.. there's spinach and kale in the milk after all! I am very sad I'm not local to Henderson anymore because I'd be in this place daily. We used to come here everyday, but lately the service has become incredibly slow, the employees are "chatting" instead of working, if you come first thing (8am) there is only one employee and it's crazy busy, if you only have one employee working, put someone who has a little hustle. This place was delicious. I'm severely allergic to bananas so I couldn't have most of the bowls on their menu so I created my own. It was absolutely mouthwatering. I was worried because it is pricey and I didn't know whether I'd like it. However it was money well spent. I devoured the whole bowl. I probably would've paid the addition 2.95 to get the size large but the Medium so just fine for me. Good portion. Great toppings. Inside was clean and modern. The customer service was friendly. I am definitely coming back. I wish they would build one a little closer to the Sunset station area but it's worth the drive. I also highly recommend creating your own bowl because you can add whatever you want. Although you get 5 toppings after you 5th topping its 1.95 for each so watch out for that. Came here today and met a friend for breakfast. The store itself is small and located in the district and the small section off to one side in the parking lot. It's really clean and minimalistic inside. They have juices, smoothies, and açai bowls. The menu of juices had a lot of different options that sounded really good, many of them which I have made at home with my vitamix. There are a handful of açaí bowls. And a little more than a handful of smoothies. I ordered an açai bowl which was called a medium but looked a little more like a small. It was $11. It was pretty good, but nothing out of the ordinary that I have had anywhere else. Definitely overpriced, as I have had the same thing for 6 to 8 dollars at other places. But of course, rent in the district is quite expensive and any food that you purchase here will be marked up accordingly. Their juices were all in the nine to $12 range & same with the smoothies, açai bowls went to 14 or $15 even. It is located next to cycle bar, so I guess if you work out and don't have something with you to eat or drink this would be a good option for afterwards. I don't think I will be back, not because they don't have yummy things, but more so because I can make those juices at home, and I could get the açai bowls elsewhere, all for much less. read more
